Isn’t this a pretty scene? I saw two of these chairs last week at a sale, they were red, and were they ever beat up. I think it would take a sandblaster to get enough of the rust off in order to paint them.

Today has been a good day and hoping it continues. I feel I’m back amongst the living lol.
Sis Vicki, lovely to hear from you and keep healing.
Annette, I’m sorry I didn’t send you a birthday card....I think I wished you happy birthday, but will wish you again. I like sending happy mail. Sounds as though you enjoyed the game and had time with your DD.
Kathy, I love shopping for clothes...no I’m older and retired I am finding that I don’t need anymore clothes. Catherine’s DD1 and I would get on...and Kandie...lol...I have a shoe fetish so my shoes would go with her handbags lol. Oh I like handbags too lol. I’m hopeless. I have what is known as a shopping addiction and instead of clothes I’ve transferred it to craft...oops.
Shirl, glad your SS loved your card..it was a cool card. Nice to spend time with them and your poppets.
Gracie, I hope you don’t get bitten by the mozzies....they love me and eat me alive. Nice to have evenings with neighbours around a fire. Look forward to seeing photos of the turtle.
Ann, hows your backyard going? Are you ready for your event?
Sharon, hope that your iPad is working ok now.
If I’ve missed anyone...hi there.
Happy Father’s Day and happy men’s day...I think it’s also Father’s Day in the UK...not here.
Hubby tells me that tomorrow we will start some chores...oh what fun...not.
Kandie, your comment about Sherlock made me laugh as that’s a comment we use sometimes...lol.
Happy day everyone..soon will be bed time here.

Kandie, that is a pretty scene. I am happy that you found another wicker chair.
I’m currently looking for rugs and we need a new couch. I’m suggesting we change the whole room around and hubby just switches off and rolls his eyes..lol. Watch this space.

I told DH I may have to check the thrift stores, Kandie! I found some Christopher and Banks and a blouse from Talbot's once. I also found some Alfred dunner on occasion. I would like to find a Capri and blouse and a shrug of some kind. I probably will need new sandals too. I do NOT have a shoe fetish. I have a pair of sneakers, a pair of shoes and a pair of sandals that I wear. At the most of have five other pairs hiding around here somewhere. I have croks at the front and back door for trips outside, but that's it. And purses...one black. Goes with everything. I guess in fashion, I'm a minimalist!
Good morning/evening, Jayne! Keep working on your hubby and show him ideas on Pinterest. That’s what I did, constantly, until DH finally got sick of it and told me to do what I want, just leave him alone, lol.
Oh yes, and I’ve transferred my craft addiction to thrift stuff, plants, and shoes again!

Well don't toss anything out. Then you won't need to buy anything when the cycle changes!
Speaking of tossing out. I have some spellbinder dies going to the thrift shop if I can't find homes for them. One is wonky squares (I'm wondering if that's the set Sharon just bought!) I have ovals with scalloped ovals to layer, a few scalloped circle sets too. And a set of border dies called A2 Curved borders. So if anyone needs any of these PM me. They will fit in am envelope.
Good morning Kandie and Kathy and good night Jayne. Hello to anyone else around this morning.
Kandie, your porch looks so wonderful and cool that you found another matching wicker chair. I have a big clear container in my closet full of purses! I also have too many shoes to count! Every now and then, I donate some to a thrift store. I also have a gazillion pairs of earrings. When I taught 7th grade, the girls loved to see what earrings I was wearing each day. Ahhh, collections!
Jayne, when I mention ideas about doing something in the house, my DH always says show me the money! Then, I shut up...my money is for crafting! LOL
Kathy, thanks for the heads up on the Spellbinders dies. I think I have all of them. Do I use them??? Well, you never know...

See the first picture by the garage, that was the worst! The clay was so thick. We removed all the stones that I had around the bed too and just mulched it. That took us two full days.
Rugs look terrific and so lightweight. Kind of an open weave waffle material. Like I said, not quality, but totally suitable for the enclosed porch. I put the info at the first post, and this is at Home Depot.

We have several outdoor rugs that we used over the pavers for the kids when going to the pool so they could go barefoot. The pavers were very rough on the feet!
Good morning! Wow, lots of chatter on here already this morning.
Happy Father's day to your men! My DH is out working like it is any other day. Of course, his girls aren't up yet to make breakfast for him. Since he normally doesn't eat his first meal until around 5:30 pm, that is OK with him.
Kandie - I have found that Ross is hit or miss and varies greatly by store. The one up the hill in Auburn is a good store and there is a new one just down from the Stein Mart that seems to be even better. But I have been in several that I wouldn't bother to go back into. Strange how that works since it is a chain.
Thankfully, DD1 is willing to look in thrift stores too. With her shopping addiction, she needs to thrift store!
Kathy - I'm like you, I have one purse and it is black! I often tell DH how much money I save him by not being a normal female! I just don't have the time and patience to switch out from one purse to another. Plus, I like a structured purse that has storage things to organize the inside of my purse. Unfortunately, when my current purse wears out, I will have to find a new kind that I like. The one I have was made by a local crafty person but she has retired. I even asked about buying her pattern so I could make it myself! I could probably figure it out but much preferred just buying it from her.
Kandie - your porch looks lovely. I should look into getting one of those rugs for Honey's outside area. Somehow, I knew what kind of chairs were going to be in your photo of your pretty scene before I clicked on the thumbnail. Probably something about the description you wrote clued me in.
Jayne - glad you are feeling better! You and I have the mosquito problem in common. My DH likes to say I'm his best mosquito protection!
Ann - what an exciting project and it looks great!
Gracie - my mom always had a lot of shoes. Which was good for me since we wore the same size!
I just uploaded my L card and my M card is in progress. Just waiting for DD2 to wake up so I can go out there and work on it. DD2 has been sleeping in the living room because she tore her room up to work on it some more. She painted her closet and removed her shelf in there. She wants a shelf but she wants it to be wood finished, not painted. And she wants new baseboards. In the meantime, the first reason for not sleeping in there was the paint smell, not it is that she can't stand the mess.
Ann, coffee is yummy! Especially with French Vanilla creamer in it. Actually, my dad made coffee that I liked so much, I drank it black. I can't usually find coffee that good any longer.
Yuck to mud water!! It's the name I have given to coffee!!
Lucky my spouse does not drink it either!! I think I have seen him twice have a cup but it had to have lots of sugar and cream. He was really tired the times I did see him have a cup. He's a milk drinker!
Too funny, Ann. I'm so thankful that we all have different things we like. Can you imagine if everyone wanted the same thing? That would be a problem. To me, I can't stand milk! It was a necessary evil to moisten my cereal when I was a kid. I'm so thankful for the alternatives that are available now like almond milk and rice milk.
Today I scored in the clothes department at Kohls! I may regret it, but I bought white Capri's with a beige flower design at the bottom of each leg. Size.....get this.....small! LOL the top I got was size large! I like loose fitting. I'll try to get a picture. I also bought two more blouses at Walmart.
Wow Mahalo,I had Sis Annette for all the loving!, to everyone too. I think my gallery sure was at a stand still till it got loving by you and a few others so mahalo Fairy Much for keeping it active .
Mahalo Fairy Much Sis Shirl for letting us know about Mich being FS this week . I’m going to need to get some mojo and go gallery peeking. We see how the eye and stuff go.....I had wanted to go roadside today with my leis but of course non of my kids was cooperating and I’ve been placed on ignore hahaha..so poor father’s out there will have to just be left without a lei today hahaha. Oh well . Kids just don’t understand these days. Seems it has turned into just another day all the milestones and special occasions.
Nice work Sis Ann your patio is coming along nicely!!
Omg Big Sis can I live in that patio? Leaking roof and all !, I love the rain so it’s fine with me and such a beautiful place to relax in. Bees well now maybe not but I’m sure there got to be some kind of fix for them. *evil grin* and I have the matching red red blood shot eye to go with that grin too!,
Oh we posted same time Sis Kathy....sounds fabulous!!! What is small? Hahaha I don’t think I ever heard that word hahahahaha. I totally agree with you about like it loose fitting. I’m already into a few X’s so I love to go the max x5 that’s comfortable for me . Plus only in my dreams will I ever see less the a 2x hahaha
The pictures dont do these justice. The bell sleeves are so cool on that pink sheer top. It has pretty yellow flowers too. The beige design is what is on the white Capri's. The blue/green shirt is prettier too.
Ohhhhhj!! You know which is my fav!!!! I bet the pix don’t do them Justice. Gosh you have such exquisite taste Sis not in just DSP but everything you select!!
So pretty, Kathy! I'm glad you found something too.
Vickster! So glad to see you out here. Praying for you!
So far today, DH has been working on our old Sienna van. DD2 said it makes us look bad that he is out there working on Father's Day. However, this is what he wanted to do. Soon, hopefully, we'll have a meal but he wants to finish the job he is doing.
MahaloFairy Much it’s greatly appreciated and needed as it turns out. And I’ve missed you all!!
Well if DD2 feels the expression needs to be changed ..tell her aunty said pull out the grill in the front yard and grill something simple like pineapples or watermelons for his special day. But it don’t seem like he cares one way other the other what they think. His a confident, secure and very happy man to do what he does on a regular bases. And he already knows his loved and is a very special man to all of you for that is where it counts the most....Mitch is the same way he says it’s just another day lol like everything else
Sometimes I wish we had a grill, Vickster, so we could do that. But I don't think we'd use it much. However, we do have both watermelon and pineapple at home right now. Just missing the grill!
Do what we do when we go to the beach and forgot the grill at home ....we get rocks stacked high enough to get a fire going under and a rack or wire of some sort and grill away lol of course covered with foil and holes poked in so the heat and fire can come through.
Yum you have the yummy fruits . A fruit salad sounds yummy about now or just snack of them cubed lol
Speaking of salads do you know our Wendy’s has not gotten those summer salads yet here I’m so bummed
