Im so excited! I just ordered the WRMK 123 punch board for $11.04 from Walmart! I have the envelope punch board but this one not only does envelopes, but also bows and boxes. But the real reason I wanted it is it has an extendable arm! Sometimes the envelopes call for larger paper and I run off the edge trying to score. I looked at these at Michaels ($36.99) and acmoore ($44.99) so even if I had a 50% off coupon I couldn't beat this price! I don't shop online except at Walmart because I can use a gift card to order. And free shipping to the store!
One more thing....last weeks newsletter says we will need an envelope punch board for this weeks tutorial. Looking forward to seeing what they have for us!
Yay, Kathy! I'm glad you found such a great deal on the 123 board. I have seen those somewhere and thought they looked neat. I, too, like the look of the extendable arm.
Good morning! I hope today I get to make cards, as I got my craft desk cleared of scrapping! But first DH& I are going to some tax presentation at a library in a suburb. He want to find out about the new laws. We know they are probably selling annuities , but just want the info!
Have a great weekend!

Good morning! DH and I had a great time at the game last night. The weather held and we had so much fun. The seats were amazing - so close to the action! We got to visit with our daughter after the game but that meant a late drive home and we didn't get here until 2 am. Well worth it to get to visit though.
Kathy - Happy anniversary! Have fun at class today.
Gracie - Looking forward to the pictures.
Sharon - Enjoy your card making time.
Everyone else have a great day! I am going to try and get through commenting on the rest of the alpha cards and then I'll see what I feel up to.

Good (shaking off raindrops) morning, everyone. What’s with the one nice day/one wet day routine going on around here??? Yesterday was picture-perfect. DH had the day off working at estate sales, so what did we do, we went to estate sales! He found a very cool old old bell that screws to a post for $20. Where it will go, I do not know. I found a brightly-colored bag, not a purse as I originally thought, but kind of insulated and shaped that it could be a summer purse if I wanted it to be. . It’s lightweight, so it just might be good as a purse after all.

Annette, thanks for all the love on my gallery projects as well! That is so sweet of you!
I am SO far behind.
Kathy, I’m so glad you found that 123 board! Let us know how you like it, okay? I have seen it at various craft stores but never thought to check it out. I do have an envelope marker, and you sure are right about the score lines for the larger ones running off the board. If you like yours, I may go get one myself.
Catherine, good luck with your homeowners insurance search. I’m hoping you are high enough that you will qualify.
Okay, I had something else to say but I have forgotten it already.
Rain, rain, rain... I ran outside at a rain break and planted two flowers I wanted to get in the yard. I think I heard the mosquitoes yell LUNCH because they sure chewed up my legs!
Oh my gosh my phone just buzzed and said “heavy rain has been detected in your area”! When did my phone start doing that? And heavy rain has been detected, eh? Well no s%#&, Sherlock. Thanks for the warning (grumble).

I am almost all the way through our alpha card gallery with comments. Then I need to try to catch up on the challenges. I too am very far behind.
I get weather alerts from Environment Canada on my phone for warnings and watches. Sometimes it comes in handy because the weather can change so quickly.
I hate mosquitoes and they seem so big this year!

Just Quick Aloha , Mahalo Fairy Much And Love all of you as missing you all Fairy Much too!! Just stop by to say Aloha and let you all know I’m still alive and the eye still is red red as can be almost to the Pinot of black . Speaking of black both my eyes for some odd reason I don’t know why the left side is too but I have both eyes with black eyed half circles underneath. Odd for the left to have it and understandable for right. But yes . Horrible tho the surgeon was great so I thought but I think it’s just being diabetic is what is causing all the problems and issues. Still in pain but the worst are the migraines. Which are so bad that leaves me wanting to keep my eyes closed completely. K iPad isn’t working well it’s seems to be I’ll as well always days to charge and seconds to be at 3 percent so I’m sure it will end before I finish what I’d like to say so love ya all!!
Had to check my gallery for something I guess even that is broken too? Lol wow amazing how it’s so true how if anything go wrong it sure always does lol
Hi everyone! I've been having a slow day today and enjoyed a nap. I thought I might make some cards today but haven't. DD1 just left to go to a friend's final dance recital performance. This friend is the one she sang the duet with at graduation and her mom has recruited friends of hers to attend her final dance recital as a surprise. I'm a little nervous about it because it is in another mountain town so it is a curvy mountain ride drive for her to get there and she'll probably be coming home after the deer are out. She is a careful driver but I'm a mom!
Kandie - that bag is such a fun print and I can totally see it as a purse. Yesterday I did a few more returns of extra things we got for graduation and one of the returns was something I bought to wear from Ross. Do they have Ross Dress for Less where you live? Anyway, while I was doing the return, my shopping addict DD1 was looking and she bought not one, but THREE purses! And a pair of sunglasses. In her defense, the two black purses were a set but still! I kept telling she didn't need any more purses but, obviously, she didn't listen to me. She really didn't need another pair of sunglasses either. But she has two new black purses and one new red one.
Annette - I'm glad the weather held for you to have a good time at the game, plus visiting time with your daughter. Win, win!
I wonder how Kathy's card class went today.
Vickster, so glad you popped in and so sorry you are having such troubles. Praying for you!
Card class was fun but a bit hectic today. One Lady was absent, which we knew when we planned the date, but another was half an hour late. It turns out she thought we met at 10:30. No wonder she's always a bit late. She said, has it always been ten? She seemed really thrown off that its always been ten! We had a really hard time choosing a time for next month. I'm the only one with the boring, no plan life! LOL
Later DH took me shopping, with no success. I need something to wear to an outside wedding on the 22nd. I miss Sears and jcpenneys! I could always find clothes there. No luck today. We used to have a Ross Dress for Less here Catherine, but they closed a couple of years ago. Tomorrow we are going to try Boscov's and Kohls. I HATE clothes shopping! I need something appropriate for an outdoor wedding and that won't wrinkle because its a two hour trip! I did NOT want to go, but DH was pretty insistent. Its not that he loves weddings. He just watched this young man grow up. His dad and DH hunt together.
Kathy, for the most part we don't have much going on so I would say I have a boring, no plan life. Which is why it cracks me up that when something comes up for us to do, it seems like several things will come up for the same time so we have to choose. I always think, "Why can't these things be spread out over several weekends? Then we'd have something to do more often!" But we usually have to choose. Murphy, I guess.
I'm with you. I dislike clothes shopping. I'd probably like it better if I'd lose some weight but, even when I was skinny, I didn't like clothes shopping. I did get some new clothes for last weekend and was quite successful at a store called Stein Mart. Someone had told me they had good clothes but I hadn't stopped in to check it out. However, I just did a store locator search on their website with your zip code and it didn't come up with any locations.
As for being something that doesn't wrinkle, is it possible to change into it when you get there?
Happy Anniversary Kathy. Congrats on the 123 board as well.
Kandie, that will make an awesome summer purse/bag!
Yes, gallery was off today, but is now working alright!
Just got back from being taken out for dinner by dear step son and dear dil and as Jayne would say - two poppets, 11 and 9.....
My step son loved his card! Made me feel good!
We are cat sitting this weekend for the woman down the hall from us. The cat is extremely shy and won't come out so that is a bummer. She is 10 yrs old and was at a shelter because her owner died. So Sara took her on and they are at least getting used to each other. For us, it will take time! She is not with us at our place, that would be way too traumatizing for her. So we just go down the hall to her place.
I made a couple of cards today with my friend. It was a fun day and then we had a campfire with DH and roasted hotdogs over the fire, then made smores! Yum!
Cute purse/bag Kandie. Love the pattern. I'm getting sick of the rain, too! We did have a break today, but supposed to rain tonight and on an off all week. The mosquitoes love all this damp weather! Yuk!
Catherine, I was like your DD1 when I was young...loved buying new purses! Could always be worse things to spend her money on. LOL
Annette, you're very welcome, better late than never I always say!
Sis Vicki, so glad to see you check in and praying that you continue to heal and that your migraines stop soon! Poor thing!
Hi Shirl, too bad that cat you're watching is so shy. Poor thing. Glad you got to go out to eat with family! That's always fun.
Kathy, that is so funny that the one lady thought your card class was at 10:30 all this time. I'm with you about shopping, it's not much fun because it's so hard to find something I like and that fits properly. Everything seems to have such low cut necklines nowadays. I wore capris and a longer top to the outdoor wedding we went to. The longer top covered the wrinkles in my capris caused from sitting in the car for an hour.
Well, I'm going to jump into the shower, my hair smells like smoke from campfire and I just changed the sheets on our bed.
Have a good evening ladies!

Sweet dreams, Ann! I love the Mitford series of books and am glad you are finding them enjoyable.
Shirl - sounds like a lovely time with your family. It is too bad the cat is so shy, glad she has a good home. My brother and sister-in-law have a cat like that. They rescued her. She, too, wouldn't come out to even them but my sister-in-law persisted. Now she is friendly with them and we might catch glimpses of her if we are visiting though, since they live in Idaho, we don't get there very often.
Yay, Gracie, I'm glad you had a fun day. It sounds perfect! I just made an L card but won't photograph it until tomorrow.
I hadn't heard about that, Shirl, so I went looking to see if I could find a place to watch it. It appears that it is available on Youtube: I did read a comment that someone was disappointed that the movie didn't follow the book, so watch at your own risk!
Yikes, I did not realize the link was the whole movie. I clicked on it thinking it was just a trailer. Don't think I will watch it but thanks for posting the link!
Good morning from humid Indiana and Happy Father’s Day to all DHs and DSs out there! Perma-gloom here this morning, so dark although it is 65 and supposed to NOT rain today. DH is going to breakfast with his DS3. He doesn’t want to go, but because he is tired, not because he doesn’t want to be with DS3. I said he can nap when he gets back.
Little Sis, so good to hear from you!!! Are you all done with surgeries now? Gosh, I sure hope so!
Catherine, that fun purse or whatever it is only cost me $3, so all the more reason to enjoy using it over the summer. Like your DD1 I have a love relationship with purses. And coordinating shoes... and coordinating jewelry... sigh
Ann, so glad you are enjoying the Mitford series. I rarely buy books, I use the library or Kindle, but that is one series I bought every book plus the coordinating cookbook!!! And I love to re-read them.

Annette, I must have missed your birthday, if I didn’t say have a happy one at the tim I’m saying it now!
Shirl and Gracie, glad you both had fun family days!
Catherine, I LOVE shopping for clothes! We do have a Ross here, and I have been in there once. I was not impressed the one time I stopped in there, it seemed like all the clothes were seconds or leftover old stock.
Kathy, I was in Kohl’s just this last week to buy a shower curtain, and I did browse through the clothes. I noticed several dresses that looked easy-care and possibly suitable for a travel and an outdoor wedding.

DH is going to pick up the two indoor/outdoor rugs I ordered from the Home Depot store after his breakfast. At only $20 apiece, I doubt they’ll be show pieces but if they cover the stained cement floor I will be happy.
Did I tell you all I found a second wicker chair for $15 that exactly matches the first one I put in the back porch? DH says they are from the 70s and cheap chairs even at that time so everyone had them.
I had to pull the first one away from its original spot because the roof leaks badly where I had it. With two now, I just faced them out towards the back yard instead of in the cozy corner.
And I’m getting tired of chasing huge bumblebees that get in then can’t figure out how to get back out!!!

Here’s kind of a funny story. Last year, when I would water the plants in the flower box at the side of the house, these two daddy-long-legs would take off running. Then, after a few weeks, they must have figured out my routine, because they would slowly walk up the brick and sit there till I was done watering the flowers, then they would walk back down and get in the flowers again!
This year I was watering and one took off running all over the place. DH said it was probably the next generation and it hadn’t figured out my routine yet.
