Kathy, I find that to be true too. I'm amazed when a card I really don't like that much - and probably shouldn't have uploaded, ends up on someone's favorites list. I always find that incredible!
Ann - they were able to pour your concrete today? That is wonderful! I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun with Jack tomorrow too. Sweet dreams!
Aloha Sistahs!!! I’m sure all is snuggle like a bug in a rug in their beds and fast asleep !! Well it’s eyedrops time for me so I’m awake now and starting to be excited and anxiety kicking in all at once!! Today Is 2nd post op visit with Eye Doc / surgeon . Yesterday later in the afternoon my eye was bothering me . It’s been really itching and uncomfortable . Somewhat hurt but I think it’s more because I didn’t rest them as much since it was a very busy and exciting day . Granddaughter Justice had one of her milestones yesterday!! She had her 6th grade graduation!!!
Just thought I check in and I’ll see if I can post a pix
Can barely See her money Lei it’s buried but it refused to be hidden fully lol it’s sticking out at her ears lol. I also made her black and pink eyelash yarn/fiber lei and Haku aka Headband. She also was given a gold bracelet with a gold heart and black pearl from my oldest Son , who is her god father as well! Des is her god mother too!! So she was definitely surrounded by never ending and everlasting love like the leis she received. This is just 6th grade graduation!!! So can you imagine what her high school graduation will be like? I’m sure a proud gma!!
Me too big Sis!!!!
I also having both the same issues as you and sis Tootsie.
All the adding it’s own letter z’ and m’s before every word I type and also lately it hasn’t been charging and when it does it takes one to two days !! Forcing me to strain my eyes on my tiny phone lol also I’ve noticed lately that I’ve left comments in galleries and when I happen on them again I notice my comments are not there. It’s been happening a lot lately . Off seems my iPad got menehunes running loose like crazy mongooses
Gorgeous photos sis Vicki...who is who? I know which is your DGD that graduated LOL. Is that Des your DD and your son? Is the other girl your GD? They are gorgeous. Lovely photo.
I've apparently been online for nearly 2 hours so hubby tells me and I've barely touched the surface and he wants to watch a show.
Ann, enjoy your little poppet. Ours are coming tomorrow and for a sleepover...yay. It's a long weekend so we will be busy.
Kandie, I love the photo of the porch. I also love reading but still don't seem to be reading that much. I also love book series and get so attached to characters LOL.
To everyone else...hi there...time for me to sign out. I still haven't managed time to check out all of your cards. Sorry...I will when I can.
happy Friday.

If you looked up the word "perfect" in the dictionary, it would have a picture of today! Its 70° outside and inside, a slight breeze blowing, birdies tweeting so sweetly and the sun is shining. My vertical blinds are making a noise as they bump each other from the breeze in the kitchen window. I would sit on the porch with my coffee, but the chairs are still wet from last night's rain. It rained in from the west so even with a roof, my porch gets soaked at times.
I just read my last post and thought it sounded like the beginning of a novel! I guess the inner writer in me is coming out again! English was always my favorite subject and especially assignments on writing short stories!
As for commenting, it's OK if you don't comment on mine. I'm behind on commenting too. Its hard to keep up when you have so many friends creating so many beautiful cards!
Good morning! It looks lovely outside, according to my weather app it is currently 68 degrees with a forecast high of 77. Down the hill where I work, the expected high is 87 and into the 90s tomorrow. To go from the heat coming on to keep warm all the way to the 90s is too quick for me to adjust. It seems like it happens this way every year though.
Vickster - beautiful photos! I'm with Jayne, please tell us who everyone is in the photos. Wow, all that for a 6th grade graduation? Though, when I think about it, we did have a big party for DD1 when she graduated 8th grade. We didn't for DD2 because she didn't want one. Our graduation party for DD1 this time is actually much less of a to-do than what we did for 8th. I required her to make a speech as class president (of course, she was the only student in the class!) and we had a couple of other people speak and then a full sit down meal. This time we are just having an open house and snacks.
Kandie - is it that you weren't awake or is your iPad causing trouble? I think I can safely say we should all be thankful I don't own a taser too! lol
Ann - how is your spouse doing post surgery? Sorry to hear that it didn't correct the entire problem and I hope you've been able to wake up. I'm sure you are having fun with Jack.
Yay, Jayne, I'm glad your poppets are coming. You'll all have fun I'm sure!
Kathy, yes that does sound like the beginning of a short story! And sounds like a lovely day.
I'd better get busy making DD1's graduation card. This is my last best chance to make it while she is gone at school. I think I want to make the card that when you open, you have the four panels pop up. I can't remember what they are called, I've made one before. I'd better go see if I can find the instructions for it. I'm also working on selecting photos for the slide show of her that will be on loop at her open house. I have so many to sort through!
Catherine, I know it is. A lot of work, but what a memory your are making for your family. She needs to be honored with how well she has done!
Hawaiian, lovely! So glad you could get out and enjoy this special time with your family, and it not be a funeral! So much distressful events in your life lately; you’d deserve a fun event!
Oh, Ann, it is great that you are getting all the improvements done for your gathering! Just hope DH improves so you can get some rest, and can feel better.
Kathy, we all know we are hooked on our craft! LOL. And your paragraph did sound like a beginning to a novel!
Kandie, I am holding my breath that this long post doesn’t get lost!
Hi, Jayne, Melody, Sally, Shirl, Gracie, and the rest of you! . Linda, I am still praying for you.
Well, I have blueberries and strawberries to wash and freeze. They were only 99 cents a pint at Aldies this week. Not as good as picking fresh, but ok. My DD in GA.always picks fresh. Next, I need to make scrap kits to take to scrap retreat next weekend.
Cross fingers I can post this! LOL

Mahalo Everyone!! Yes graduations are a big event here. It’s like a birthday Luau!!! The high school graduations are the biggest and most celebrated! 95 perfect of the graduates with have a huge Luau for their accomplishment of graduating . Some are so filled to where you can’t even see them and some with leis to the hilt and on their both arms as there is no more room at the top lol and some even have those and more with Ohana having to take off the head area so others can keep adding lol it’s just a cultural thing here. They are very well loved and recognize for their accomplishments and showed that they are the stars and celebrated as one too!! Our college here UH as does all the school have them as well UH indoor sports has it done twice for their graduating athletes . Those that are not local are amazed and so thankful because of the experience of it. They try to get their Ohana as much to fly in for it and even them are like whoa . And then upon the actual graduation they do it all again. Lots of them joke and say they got laid in Hawaii it’s adorable and hilarious when that statement is always referred too.
Omgoodness Sis Tootsie you Enabler !! Now I want some chocolate coco truffle covered strawberries!! And that berries are surely fatter and wider then the glue for sure!! And probably much more sweeter and juicier too!!
Yes the other lil Lady graduated last year. She is adopted by a friend of my sons whom she calls me Aunty and I’ve recently hanaied aka hawaiian style adoption . So basicly yes that is also another granddaughter I’ve inherited ! Giggles most that I’ve had the pleasure to meet always end up being Ohana in some form and no longer just and acquaintances. Pretty sad when I think how my one DIL says she has no friends but just acquaintances. Oh well her choice to live life that way where as I’m totally the opposite !! Lol Her Name is Jaylyn , Yes that’s my DD Des , My oldest Son Mitchell Jr ,My DDGD Justice the graduate, and me the one eye bandit lol Jaylyn’s mom Colleen taking the pix who isn’t in the photo
Vickster - thanks for identifying everyone in the photos. I'm so glad you were able to go enjoy this event with your family. That is wonderful!
Wow, Sharon, that looks like a marvelous strawberry! We've had so much rain here that I haven't yet had field fresh strawberries. Usually by now we've enjoyed several flats of them.
I've now caught up on the chatter and my stomach is letting me know I haven't had anything to eat yet today. I think I should remedy that.
Hi everyone. Hot here today - 83. I think I have just about every fan in the house on. Trying to keep cool. We've contacted a guy who fixes AC's on the side, and hopefully will be able to get ours repaired or replaced for less than a heating/AC company.
Was just watching the local news. A man broke into an elementary school, vandalized it, stripped naked and put vegetable oil on his body and slid across the gym floor. I'm not sure if I should feel sorry for the guy who obviously needs psychiatric care, or laugh hysterically at that mental picture in my head!
Whew! I left for mom's on Wednesday and boy did I have a lot of chatting to read to catch up! I'm sure I'll forget to comment on something!
First of all, I'm pooped...who ever thought thrift sales were an easy way to make some money is cuckoo! We set up and opened early on Wed., Thursday it was 82 and Friday it got up to 89! Crazy weather went from rainy to HOT!
Anyway, I made some $$$ and purged some stamps and craft items. My sister was in rare form, but I survived. My mom, cousin and 2 girlfriends got to see firsthand how nasty and bossy my DS can be! Sheesh! She definitely needs an attitude adjustment!
I'm going to post this now and try to remember what I read to make some comments.

DH was at the cabin. DS1 is in a wedding tomorrow and three of the guys were going to spend the night at the cabin. Well, DH shows up here about a half hour ago and scared the daylights out of me! It seems there was a bear outside the cabin and a snake inside! DH hates snakes so DS1 and son of the groom chased the snake around the cabin and got it out, but groom said he wouldn't be able to sleep at the cabin and DH said the same thing! Scaredy cats! So they sat outside on the porch for a while chatting and then the guys went to DS1's house. Since I was startled, I can't sleep!
Good morning and happy Saturday. I’m typing super slow so as to not hit the wrong keys. Isn’t that just frustrating? I used to be a terrific typist. Maybe something about having the iPad lying at a strange angle on top of my quilt has something to do with my bad typing. Also, I swear the ?123 key the Undo key and the m, the Comma and erase keys have all been made bigger and the rest of the keys smaller!
