Hey girls!
Just swamped here. Peaches and blackberries came in this weekend, hubby came home last Wednesday and the grandtoddler is still here. I have a writers conference this weekend and we're making the hotel stay a 'family' event. Heat indexes to be in the 100+ range so Bob and Adrian can enjoy the pool while I'm in the conference.
I'm chomping at the bit to start playing again. I've been spending some time in the evenings to study a book on scrapbook organization and will be sharing things on my blog when I'm back to work. Adrian is only here 2 more weeks. She leaves on the 5th.
Jennipher, yes, you were an original member. Apparently you didn't reply to Michelle's housecleaning post earlier in the year. Happy to have you if you want to still be a part. Just let me know and I'll get you back on the list. Thanks for stopping by my blog last week :-)

Thanks Kelly for answering my question. I must not have replied to Michelle's house cleaning post. It's okay though. I just am trying to keep up with my blogging responsibilties. So, I'll sit this group out for now. Many of you I already have listed on my sidebar under Crafty Chicks, which is bloggers I try to visit when I can. So you'll still get visits from me and comments.

Hi everyone! Finally made it around to all the blogs that I needed to visit as some haven't been updated for a while. I noticed that Jackie hasn't been around in over a month. Hope all is going well with her and her family. She's probably got her nose stuck in that new SU catalog.
I got exciting news today. If you haven't seen it, my Summer Breeze card on my blog was picked as a Top 3 on Divas by Design. I was so thrilled since this is my very first Top 3.

Also wanted to let you all know that I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow morning to CA to visit my DD and her family. Sunday is my youngest DGD's dance recital and it will be her last one at this studio since they are moving in the very near future - like next week!!!! I'll be back on next Tuesday. Because it took me forever to find the updated blog roll this morning and I won't have time to change the blog roll on my blog until after Adrian leaves, I'm posting a link to the updated post so I can find it over the next few days LOL
I just got back from a writers conference. But while we were in Springfield, I took the opportunity to do some shopping. I've been watching creative tutorials in the evenings before sleep just to unwind and enjoy quiet time. I kept hearing about Gelato's from Faber-Castill so went on the hunt for them. They are watercolor sticks in a tube similar to chapstick. Their colors are supposed to be really vibrant. The only ones HL had were the twin back of Blk/Wh or Silver/ Gold and on CLEARANCE! I snagged the Black and white pack.
Then I headed over to Michaels (where of course I didn't have a coupon :; sigh ::: ) and found the 4pk in the blue family and in the red family. Just under $10 a pack. Of course, since I'd found them I had to get both! LOL I'm with Watercolor like some of you gals are with your Copics.
I'm hoping to play with them today while Adrian works in her art journal.

Congratulations Nic! Woo-Hoo for you!! I am just back from my scrap camp weekend. A great time it was! I will be posting all about it on my blog this week. The first of many posts went up this morning. I will be posting about the entire weekend from the room decorations to the projects some of the gals completed. I hope to make the rounds to your blogs tomorrow or Wed. I am still recovering from the weekend. ha-ha Hope everyone is well.

I had an easy day yesterday. Was only at work until 11:15, then I got to leave to go to jury duty. I was hoping to get picked, but my boss has history with the law firm of the Plaintiff's attorney, so I got struck from the list. No problems, I was able to go home and enjoyed some extra time. Now it's back to full days. Darn!

Hi ladies...I was all excited...I had made 2 anniversary cards for my brothers and updated my blog with some family memories but one card is distorted... : (
After I take my youngest grandson to the doctor I will make my rounds on the blogs I was sick for 2 weeks///I really slept and read a lot that is it ...

Hi Maggie! I tried to reply to you yesterday but the website shut me down. I think SCS was having a problem or it was my computer. The beach we are going to is over in Coronado, CA. We love it there! We will spend out time relaxing and enjoying the hotel pool and the beach. One day will be spent at Seaworld. I can't wait!! Take care.-Brenda

Just got home from seeing Snow White & The Huntsman with my GF. Great movie. Lots of action, adventure, tears, and smiles! I was just a tad disappointed in the ending, but still really like it. I guess it really couldn't have ended any other way.

Good morning, I hope you all had a safe and fun 4th! Mine was pretty laid back, enjoyed some time with my husband and daughter. Of course, that was in between Tour de France coverage, lol! Yes, I am a cycling widow for most of July, my husband is a cyclist and loves to watch cycling. Me, not so much, lol. I sit with him for a bit, then I head into my happy room. I have been quite productive lately, I am doing the 100in100 challenge and have completed 85 cards since Memorial Day weekend! I really want to finish by Tuesday, I have a large SU order coming and part of the challenge was to use our stash.

Good morning Paper Bloggers. I'm so bummed that I didn't get to see fireworks last night IRL. I did watch the Boston Pops on TV though. I always like listening to their music. One day I'd like to actually go there for this event.
Spent most of the afternoon putting together my umbrella table and putting up the umbrella. Then I worked on putting together my garden bench which was very difficult. The sides and back are cast iron, but it's oh, so pretty. Love how it looks in my yard, and all the work was so worth it.
I'm visiting blogs today and have some new things on mine.

i found out this morning and it was a great way to start the day. it was sassy studio designs. I get 2 free digi images. I'll tell you I still cant make up my mind . there are so many that i like. its really hard to make a choice . maybe i should get on their design team that way I can get them all. wouldnt that be too cool. Well, a girl can dream
hope y'all had a safe happy 4th. for me it was toooooo short before it was back to the grindstone.
I have some cards that i entered into challenges on my blog. I think I left some love for all the recent posters. I'll check tomorow.
