Hi Gals! @ Nicole, I will try to get you added to my blog tomorrow. I checked yours out - very nice!! @ Kelly, my shopping did involve some crafty purchases. I picked up a couple rubber stamps which I told myself would be used as gifts yet I think I am keeping them. LOL It also involved a trip to Brightons and I splurged on some earrings. Definitely a successful day! LOL @ Everyone-- I really am glad I found this group! All your blogs are great and I am learning so much! Thanks for all your help & tips.
Could someone please help me out... I thought I got an email with everyone's blog and ID and name, but now I can't seem to find it. I had started adding people and was going to finish today and now I can't find that awesome list.

We officially have 1 spot left open. Unless I hear otherwise from Michelle I'm locking it down at 15. More than that is just too much to try and keep up with and still manage our own blogs IMO.

Yesterday was library program and McDonalds playland for Adrian. She made a new friend so she got to play longer than usual. We've even set up a play date for the same time next week. LOL Unfortunately, it meant I didn't even sign on yesterday.
It's gorgeous out, no humidity so I've promised her outside all day as long as it stays comfortable. Hopefully I can keep her in HER bed tonight and I can get around to blogs.

We did have some rain yesterday - also some high winds. I came home from work and found large branches from my oak and pecan trees over the front and back yard. Called the yard man to have him come today to get it cleaned up. We're supposed to have more rain later today. Hope it's not as bad as yesterday. Not complaining about the rain, just the high winds.

I saw on Facebook yesterday that Michelle is in the process of moving, so I'm sure she's got her hands full with that so she hasn't been on here. I made a comment and she commented back that they are moving into a one floor home to make things easier for her Nana that she is taking care of. Hopefully that will go okay and she'll be back soon.

I was able to get 10 cards on my blog this week, will hit 50 posts in 3! My goal for this weekend is to figure out how to make my gallery page work the way I want it to. I have about 100 cards on a gallery page that I would like to be able to click on and go to either the blog post or a description of the card if I have not blogged it. Right now if you click on them it opens up a slide show like on Google Images. I am using Wordpress if anyone has any ideas.

Wonderful news....I just joined the CCC and the AOCC. now i just need to make sure my address book is up to date . As long as I have the cards, I'll send them to any relation that i have especially if I havent seen them in a while. I have to admit some years nobody gets anything. I cheated once I bought some and modified them and sent them out .

Good for you Brandy. I sort of belong to both those groups, but rarely get a chance to actually post over there. I must admit that it does help me get cards done for Christmas and for various other things.

:cool:Happy weekend everyone! I just got home from a local hotel. My daughter, some friends and I checked in at 1:00 yesterday and spent the afternoon, night & this morning relaxing by the pool. The kids loved it as none of us have a pool. This hotel also had a slide. Big fun for them! I was looking for shade! LOL Our husbands held the home front together while we had a mini staycation. Was a nice break from household stuff. I hope to get crafting this weekend. I have to make some decorations for the scrap camp that I am attending (two weeks away but who is counting!) @Maggie - our desert could use some of your rain. We already have the wind so just send the rain. I hope all of you are having a great weekend! Will try to stop by the blogs this weekend. @ Brandi What are those two groups that you joined? Great Brandy! I saw you at CCC12 but haven't been over to AOCC yet. I'm hoping to get both of their monthly threads updated by end of the week. Hubby gets home Wed. night so it might get a bit easier with an extra pair of hands to occupy the granddaughter LOL

Well, she definitely has her hands full. Not only did she just move, but her DD had a baby yesterday and she's now a grandmom! She posted a couple pictures of her granddaughter on FB yesterday. So adorable.

got 3 more challenges done. means 7 so far for the month. I went to Grammys(DGM i dear grand mother, i think thats the right acronym) and
forgot to take my address book to make sure mines up to date. So I still dont know how many christmas cards I need yet and havent made any more .
I need to make diferent cards than i have made so far . I have never made a congratulations card for a wedding so far. Im going to see if i can find some inspiration and make one shortly. not that i know anybody who is getting married anytime soon. Just thought i might challenge myself. If y'all want to see my latest hop on over to my blog.
One more thing those that i hadnt visited lately, I just left some love

Sorry, I'm not too blogging savvy, so I have no idea how to see who is following you by e-mail. Don't know if they keep track of that with Blogger or not.
Can't believe I haven't been on since Wednesday. It's been a busy week.
My 25th anniversary at work was Friday. They actually had a little breakfast reception for me. I was so surprised at that. Then they told me that I would be getting a bonus at the end of the month. Another big surprise. Went out to lunch with a couple GF's and my 2 bosses are taking me to lunch tomorrow. Lots of fun.
I was busy yesterday with shopping and laundry - trying to get some things done before I leave on vacation on Thursday. I also had 3 projects that I had to get finished. So far I finished the two Bowdabra projects today and have the photos done for the tutorials. Still need to photo the finished products.
I also need to work on my PSC card that is due tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get that finished tonight.
Quiet day here after church this morning.

I finished my root canal. im taking a break from those monsters. did you see my furbabies? anyways I got one thing accomplished: A Gate fold card YAY. the pics were a little blurry but I couldnt wait to post it. after i reshoot the pics, I'll submit to the outlawz CFC0617. so hop on over and tell me what ya think

Great job on your gate fold card. Love the sentiment you used on it. Is that the new image for this Sunday? I didn't get my card done for last time and I really don't have the time to get one done this week before I go on vacation. Guess I'll wait til next time.

Hi Everyone! @ Maggie- Congratulations on your 25 yr anniv. @ work! I am glad to hear that they are treating you well and that you are having lots of celebrations! Always fun to go to lunch, etc. with friends. Have a great time on your vacation!@ Everyone - I will be at Scrap Camp this weekend and I plan to do all cards. I do not even think that I am taking one photo along to scrap. I am looking forward to playing with my Cricut and brand new set of colored pencils. I got the pencils for Christmas and I have barely used them. I recently got the Tim Holtz Christmas stamp set and a few of the Art Impressions girlfriend stamps that I cannot wait to try out. I have all my stuff lined up in my hallway ready to go. Am I excited or what? (I won't load it until Thurs.). ha-ha I will check in on all the blogs this week.
