Brenda, that's great that you have friends that you can get together with to stamp. Wish I could get my friends together on a regular basis.
I had a fabulous weekend. Went up to Dallas for the Copics Intermediate Certification. Colleen Schaan was our instructor and she ws AWESOME! She's a super nice, vivacious person and a great instructor. Lori Craig was also there helping out with the class, and Sharon Harnist showed up Saturday afternoon. It was great to meet all of them. I learned sooooo much. It's going to take some time to process all of it and then practice what I learned.
Got to meet up with a GF and her DH that live up in the area. We originally met about 4-5 years ago when they came down to Houston. We chat online everyday, so it's always great to actually see them IRL.

Glad you had fun in Dallas. I took a Copics class at the local scrapbook store. Instructor was good but I was overwhelmed by it all. I need to take another class to absorb all the info. I love the how the images look when colored with the Copics. For now my pencils will have to do. LOL Glad you got to see your GF while away. My Monday started off quite well. I won some blog candy from the Pixar/Disney Hop that was this weekend. I am totally excited! First time I have ever won!!

Hello hello ...we are having a sunny and beautiful day high reaching up to 90 but enough ( more than enough ) wind to make it feel cool ;)
I spent some time in my crafty place last night and today... and I liked one of my cards so much, I updated my blog... nothing fancy, I just let the colors and image do all the work
I hope you can pop on over, grab a chair and rock with me ;)

did you have problems with blog spot?? just curious
Hi Soni! I did not have any problems with blogspot. My husband really felt I needed to have my own domain name. So for $10 per year I have it. My hubby is REALLY into the domain name thing so I finally did it. I still feel like there is a transition going on with it all as blogspot is not redirecting to the domain name. Hopefully it will work itself out. WIll let you know how it goes. I did not loose any data in the transition so that is great. Will stop by your blog this evening to see your latest creation. sorry I havent been on here or visited y'all recently . had a toothache then a root canal. both extremely painful. dont know when i'll be able to post again. pain meds knock me out . better than pain
Hello Everyone! Happy Memorial Day weekend! Brandy- I hope that you get to feeling better. I've worked in a dental office for over 27 years. You should feel better soon. Did they finish your root canal in one visit or just open it to get you out of pain??
I am happy to report that my switch from blogspot to disneygirlcrafts.com went well. As far as I can tell everything is redirecting now. For those that are following me please let me know if I do not show up on your blog list, etc. All should be working fine though. Even old challenges I linked to are redirecting to the new address.
Does anyone know when Brandy & I will be added to the list of this thread?? Just wondering. Excited to be a part of the group.

Oh, you poor dear. I sure hope that you are feeling better by now. I've never had to have a root canal done, but I've had bridges done and caps and they are no fun either. I hate all that drilling and that icky thing they stick in your mouth.

It's been a relaxing day here. No family this weekend - long story.
I've been working on my PSC card for this week. Got it done, so I thought I'd work on my card for the Monday Challenge on The Outawz. Got it finished and did NOT use one Copic marker. :rolleyes:
I did get some laundry done and watered the whole back yard. That takes 3 moves of the sprinkler.
Not sure if I want to go read for awhile or check the challenges and work on another card.
It'll be a quiet day around here tomorrow too, but I'm looking forward to just relaxing.
I did go up to my mom's gravesite today and put new flowers on her grave. I had taken some real flowers on Mother's Day, but I knew they would be long dead and don't like to leave it like that for long and since I was out of town last week, I didn't get a chance to change them out.

Super hot out today. I did mange to make one card the other day but haven't manged to update my blog or go visiting everyone's. I have just had too much going on lately.
Hi Everyone! I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I have yet to get a card made. I have cleaned and ate more (Cheesecake Factory today with friends visiting from out of town). LOL Hope to make a card tomorrow. I have this adorable stamp of two little kids I hope to use.
Are there stlll spots open in this group? The title says three spots open but I wasn't sure if it had just not been updated. If so, I would love to join this group. I am a new blogger, but will be updating regularly. I am participating in a 100 cards in 100 days challenge and that was the push I needed to get moving on my blog. I published my first post on Friday and have over 20 posts now. I am still learning, so far, so good. I am open to any and all advice and suggestions!

I got my card made & it is on my blog. I need to figure out how to make the photos of my cards a smaller size. Splitcoast Stampers will not allow me to upload them. I think the file is too big. Anyone have any idea what I need to do?

You need to resize them so the largest pixel size if 2047. Are you using some software to resize your photos?

Thanks Margaret! I only have an HP program on my computer (I think it came with my photo printer) and I cannot figure out if it can resize the pics. I tend to upload all to Costco and use their website to change my pics prior to printing. Thanks for giving me the pixel size. It is giving me something to work with. My hubby has photo shop on his computer so maybe he can resize them. Thanks again - appreciate it. Hope you are having a good day.
Thanks for all of your sympathy regarding the root canal . no Brenda dr clark didnt finish it . i'll finish it up june 4th . I didnt stop hurting till monday. I didnt remember them as being that bad.

I also posted to my first challenge. it was a MFTWSC....My Favorite things Wednesday Stamp challenge. YAY ME .Brenda , I didnt have any trouble posting @all. however i did post to photobucket first and maybe that resized it for me.I dont know for sure . i think it has an option to post to blogs. you might try it . Its free.
I remember that originally we were doing challenges and I had the intention of doing them all. However I have done only one of them. its the craft room thing from february. i'll plug them up here in a minute . I seem to have lost track since the Feb challenge. Are we still doing these ? I think we'll say Ive missed May. Can someone fill me in on the ones I missed ? March to present
Hi Everyone! Brandy - I might try photobucket if I can't do it on my computer. Thanks for that suggestion. Sorry you have had so much pain with your tooth. Some do seem to hurt worse than others. Unfortunately I have had several root canals;( No fun! I am on Scrap Camp countdown! It is three weeks from this Friday! I cannot wait! Ten of us check into a local hotel and craft for three days! Too fun!! Did I mention I cannot wait! LOL

Tess, when I went to visit your blog today my virus protector stopped me and a message popped up that your blog has content on it from shabbydogs blog and that site has been known for distributing malware.
So if you see this post, you might want to do a thorough virus scan just to make sure your computer did not get any malware or virus installed on it.

That's weird. I've never heard of shabbydogs blog. I didn't have any problem getting on her site or leaving a comment. :confused:
