Also I am looking for a general poem about candy, that I can use on some retro jars with a tag, most of the ones I can find seem to be Christmas related.
Thanks

Sarah, I go to this site often for craft sayings and verses. If you don't see what you want, Nan will do something for you. Just email her.
Love your photos. The designer rulers look great. Definitely going to try and do some soon. TFS.
Have just tried the designer rulers. I added a tag to the front which could be changed to a birthday party invitation. I would think sold in packs of 6 they could be a good craft fair item. Very easy, quick and reasonable to make.
Photos on my blog.
for kids. They had a stamped image and crayons were stuck to the card. I know people sold these at craft show
I saw quite a few using the build a bear stamps from SU. But I think anything that would be "fun" for kids, dinosaurs, cars (can you tell I have a boy!!) ect.....
The children's cards remind me of something my daughter did in elementary school. At the after-school program, one of the teachers put a card, envelope, and stickers in a baggie. She gave each child the "kit" for the child to make a Mother's Day card for their mom.
My daughter, not interested in the project, brought the baggie kit home. She handed me the baggie and told me it was a do-it-yourself Mother's day card and to make myself a card. She even said I should just sign her name to it! I have the baggie on my desk and each year ask my daughter if she's interested in making my card this year. Obviously, since I still have the baggie, the answer is always no.

Well, so far I have done Easter Pencil holders, little mini gift bags with chocolates in them, mini purses with M & M's in them, and decorated Hershey bars, full size and mini!

I have never looked at Staples! I should though! I get mine at Walmart, usually a 2 pk is a dollar, a 5 pack is $3 something! Anyone able to tell me how much usually it is at Staples?
The last time I stocked up on RSVP pens at Staples I got them buy one box get one box free. they were $7 a box (before the deal) but that was a while ago.
I would plan on spending about $6-8 a box and if you are lucky they will still have 12 to a box :-)

Every couple of months they have a great sale- a pkg of 5 is $1- that is when I usually stock up!

Hi Nikki,
I made the snowman wrappers last year and I know I had trouble downloading them. I'll have a look again after tea and see if I can help you.
Also two years ago I did a craft fair around halloween. A craft friend has photos of it, I'll see if I can get them for you for ideas.

Anne...I tried to look at the photos, and haha...I saw everything but I can now tell ya, its been a while since I have been on here trying to do something/anything.
Ok...so, I am signed up for a craft show May 1. Need ideas as this is after Easter...and spring things just may not be enough. Can anyone help me out with some new (or new to me) ideas? I really want to do well and am starting to stress about it.

How about "I Spy" bottles for kids? Take an empty water bottle, put in a few tiny objects, and fill with bird seed. Attach a tag with a list of "Things To Find". Add a curly ribbon and you're done!
That is a great idea! How much do you think I should sell them for? Anyone have any more ideas? I know I am planning on making altered lunch tins with cards in them, altered notebooks, altered composition books, altered clothespins, clothespin magnets, paperclip bookmarks, corner bookmarks, cards, some decorated candy bars, nugget boxes, pebble magnets, and gift bags. Does anyone have any other ideas?
Also, how about how I should decorate or set up my table? Looking for some set up and staging ideas!
Thanks!
Kristin

I sell my bottles for $3. I tell the adults it's a good way to keep the kids occupied in the car!
As far as your table set up goes, try to add height to your table with shelves, crates, etc. This adds interest and keeps everything from looking flat. It also frees up more table space so you have room to display more items! Sounds like you have some good ideas going. You'll have a lot to keep you busy between now and then! Good luck!

For a decor theme, what about summer fun? Use some sand pails in various positions to display some of your items, maybe a small blow-up beach toy, bright beach towel as a table cover, etc. to set the stage and catch the eyes of the shoppers. Another thought is a picnic theme, using a checkered cloth as a table cover, picnic basket to have items spilling out of, colored plastic bowls to hold small items, etc. Maybe even sprinkle a few plastic ants around for fun. I agree with using crates, etc. to add height and dimension to your space. Try to go for some bright colors because so many vendors use black cloths in their spaces and it will draw attention to your display. Good luck!
I know that Valentine's Day has passed, but I just posted some of the m&m candy bags/sticks that I made for Valentine's Day on my blog today. You can see them here. I am working on my Easter ones now.
These have been very helpful! Thank you! Do you think I am making enough of a variety? Should I stick with bright colors for my dp, embellies, and cs? Or should I do some pastels and some brights (thinking of Mother's Day and Father's Day too) I have never done a show other than fall and Christmas....this is totally new territory for me. I don't have to worry about having to keep extra stuff at my house as I have a space I lease at a craft mall.
Thanks again for your advice and moral support! I am so glad I found this place!

I don't have a license/not registered to sell repackaged food products, so I am not sure if I should make some for the show or not as I cannot put them at my space at the craft mall. They are awesome tho!
