I'll be gone all day tomorrow but I'll PM her the update list.

Lisa love the pics on your Blog! I just can not figure out how you can be 3150 miles NORTH of me and be warmer by 35 degrees! Crazy!!

I think I was about 10 yrs old the last time I saw a Moose, and honestly.. I hope that to be the last time! LOL

Very happy to have you ladies join us!
Thank you very much, I appreciate that!

LOL...we had a horrible warm front that moved in and gave us those nasty warm temps. Thankfully we are back to normal now and its currently 5*, much more to my liking. Now if we would only get some snow!

I LOVE the moose!! Usually we've had a ton of them in our yard by this time but with the low snowfall this winter they seem to be staying further up in the hills:confused:

Thanks for the welcome!

Lisa, I would so happily send this snow your way if I could!

I absolutely LOVE the pic you got of the moose by your back steps sticking it's tongue out at you! OMG I about lost it over that one!

I think I got it all!

Thank you Kelly! It's only 9 and it feels like midnight.. I am dragging butt tired!

I divide the work up too, but divide it up by parts. One night I will cut and score the card bases, one night I do the stamping, cut the mats, doing the layering, embellishing, etc. If I do the work in small pieces I can pick it up and work on it when I have a small block of time and feel like I got something accomplished instead of working on one card at a time ansd not finishing anything.

That's kinda how I do it too Angie, do all the bases, cut each layer, stamp images, color (or whatever I am gonna do) Then assemble

Good Sunday Morning ladies!

Remember please that Sunday's are a NO UPLOAD DAY (unless you are a fan Club Member) that way mods can have the day off!

So what is on everyone's agenda for today?

I found the Blinkin' Thinkin' and Inkin' blog for the first time today, so I'm going through all those to find some great tags and cards to make

It's also my SIL's 21st b-day and my niece's 13th b-day so I'm trying to figure out some great cards to make for them. Also, anyone know what to get a 13 year old for a b-day present, I'm lost.

Heather for Clint's niece when she was 13 she was really into scrap booking, so we got her a kit from Archivers
My niece's however were more difficult... one likes music, so iTunes gift cards work

at that age - Gift Cards are a Blessings :-)
iTunes
Borders/ B&N/ Amazon
Mall GC - (Simpn properties I know have these so they can use that at ANY store in the mall)
Visa GC so she can shop where she likes
Theaters often have gift packages that include popcorn and Beverage. Maybe you could get her a 2-pk set so she could go with a friend.

If you know what she likes to read, get her a book along with a GC. Make the GC holder look like a bookmark so when she opens the book,t he GC is an added surprise!

Obviously, I am home :-D
Great day yesterday. Most relaxing 13-hr day I've had in a very long time. Just shopping and lunch with my favorite sissy. Even with the 2 hr drive in and back, it was enjoyable. 'Course blasting my favorite cowboy music on the drive didn't hurt hehe

g'morning. ah the years i have done this went way better for me then the years i did it only the beginning of the year ( like last year ) so, I'm thinking I need to have at least 6 cards a month this year ( it will give me extra's) another thing i do is gift tag sized cards and i did do a lot of those last year but, never uploaded them because they were not greeting card size. ( so do gift tags count?)

After all these years on SCS, I think it's time to join this challenge. My goal is to do 5 a month.

New faces! Welcome ladies :-) yep, it's like anything else - the program works when you work the program. I've heard so many of you attest to this. Keep that running through your head as the months progress.
I'm looking for our 200th member.

still waiting on hubby to get a semblance of a room done in the basement so I can go play, going crazy not being able to play, at least I am getting things upstairs cleaned while I wait for that project to be done so I can get to my table and supplies, he's determined to help make my area a good fit too, so that's the bonus that he agrees on the things I want we just have to be able to afford them piece by piece, so I can make it an inviting room to craft and also run our business.

I'd like to join this challenge - I did it in 2009 and had all the cards I needed by the end of November. Last year... not so much! I'm hoping the challenge will help keep me on track!

My goal is to make 4 cards per month.

Looking forward to getting inspiration from everyone else's Christmas cards!

I did 90% of my space myself, Charlsanne. Bob built my huge bookcase for the office side and when we first moved in he built the drawers (based on my design) for the entertainment center. He also cut the desk top and built my cubby rack for me. Everything else I did while he was on the boat.

That's good that hubby is being so supportive.

My husband, too, is supportive of my hobby....check out my gallery and see what he did for me in 'my corner of the basement'.. (my gallery: Splitcoaststampers Member Galleries - carolc1027 - Handmade Cards & Crafts )

This is the first hobby I've had that he has been supportive of...most likely because I don't have stuff laying all over the family room! LOL

Clint and I are discussing ideas for my room, i am very content with how it is, but I want to get rid of the entertainment center and have him build me a bookcase the TV can sit on, and I can use the rest of the area.

Got you girls down (well I will when I leave here)

I do and love it, ask me any questions you want about it. I can't compare it to other programs, as it is the first digital program I have used for scrapbooking and cardmaking, but I find it very user friendly and fun.

Feel free to email me any questions you may have, and the majority of the pages in my gallery have been done with MDS (MY digital studio).

This is the first hobby I've had that he has been supportive of...most likely because I don't have stuff laying all over the family room! LOL
looks very very similar to my current area, I love my supportive hubby!!
So I am excited to get a real room that I can paint, I think I am going to do a nice yellow in it to really make it bright, and I will have 2 windows although north facing, it's better than nothing, and all the light I could ever handle I just want to move in - but it will still be a while but that's ok, at least we cleaned the other part up a bit so I can get to my desk, for the most part, and find stuff to play with

Splitcoaststampers - vikkijo's Album: Vikki Jo's world

My room is the former Master Bedroom.. I took it over! LOL

it is 14' x 12' minus the closet but I took the doors off and have that space too! LOL Clint and his dad, keep making me floor to ceiling shelves! I have an old Armour in the corner with the TV on it, but it's not user friendly... doors and drawers are not my thing! LOL And the tv is up a bit high, its okay when I am just listening but if I actually try to watch I get uncomfortable! KWIM?

Lots of natural light is the one thing I miss in my space. 1 Casement window just isn't enough. But additions cost money AND would detract from my beautiful view. It would have to be a separate building.

LOL Clint keeps saying he's gonna have to add on..

NO WAY! Then I'd need more stuff! LOL.

I got real dumb.. I needed to cover the windows and ran out of clear stuff for in here, so I just used some black stuff.. It's always night time now!

LOL That took me awhile to figure out! I'd forgotten those were even there! The net my mother crocheted when I was ... well younger! LOL
The really huge white one was a joke, he is as big as me, he's really stuffed in there! The others all have a date to remember, one I got when I was in a car accident, most are form Clint. He collects bears, so he thinks I should! lOL
His bears are real looking, figurine, lamps, clocks, Bill O'Neil prints.

I do collect piggies. LOL they are across the window on a shelf, I have 2 more shelves since this pic was taken.

this was a very productive weekend for me. I got lots of swaps done and I have mentally designed my Jan cards. I hope it works out - at least it's a start!
