I would like to sign up for the Christmas Card Challenge. I had so much going on last year (surgery, and surgery again) that I ended up buying store bought cards and sent them out. I don't want to do this this year. We are an Army family and will be moving nearly cross country this summer, so this would be a great way to get some done and to share with my husband's Brigade that is deploying to Iraq this week (my husband isn't going, he just got back six months ago from Iraq, but recently changed jobs).. thanks so much.

I've spent the morning stamping images for the prize envies. While I was at it, I stamped images for 2 sets of my own cards. Now to figure out how I want to use them hehe

LOL! I just posted about that. Sorry. I never pay attention and it really got away from me. It still needs some purging, but I cleaned out the Sent box pretty good.

I was wondering about this too, Kathy. Mine are done. I could/should post. I took a picture of my 6 all together but it makes for a less detailed picture. I guess I could post two pics, one of a close-up and one showing my quota.
Worked on this card and made 6. The pattern paper isn't exactly the same for each one because of the way the pattern was on the 12 x 12 sheet. Here's the link to my upload.

If all your cards are the same or very similar, you could post a photo of just one and indicate how many you made. After all, this challenge is to help you make enough cards for next Christmas, and on the honour system, so if you cheat, you are just cheating yourself!

Good point, Ina. I could just direct everyone to my gallery now. HA! HA! I made a card very late in December. I only had the chance to make one. I loved it so much it was my first set of 6 this month. Each was a little different, using up different ribbons. Can't wait to get started on my next six!
This is my catalyst...I'm going to start working on that post.
Thanks for answering Ina :-) Little slow in getting around this morning. I think I'm mesmerized by the pretty white stuff falling from the sky. Our FIRST for this season :-)

Hey Kel and Vikki Jo...I want to join all of you if I can... I am thinking 4 - 6 cards a month and I hope to make some home made gift tags and thank yous as well...
Do you all ever post what you work on?? or just report in? and is there a set time we need to do that??

When you've completed your cards/ tags/ etc for the month, upload a pic to your gallery AND post the link in that months' thread. The thread links are all posted at the beginning of this one.
There is no set time HOWEVER...
To be eligible for the monthly drawing, you do need to have uploaded your card(s) for that month. So Only those who've posted their January cards by Jan.31st will be eligible for the January drawing, etc.
This is our Chat/ Challenge thread. Then you'll have the Monthly threads to upload your cards in to.

Please sign me up! I didn't even get my cards out this year...making Happy Winter or Welcome Spring since I printed 60 family pics to go in them. This will be my motivation for sure!

This sounds like sooooooooooooo much fun!!! Do you hold these monthly? We have plans for tonight so I will not be able to join this time, but would like more information. I'm new to Splitcoaststampers so don't know my way around too well, but yes I'm interested in doing this some time.

They aren't necessarily monthly. Tonight is the mini, live from 6-11 PM EST like Kelly said. But you can play all weekend, if tonight doesn't work for you. Kelly provided a link in her post or you can click on the link in my signature line The Main event for this VSN is February 25 & 26. Hope to see you there!
