Thanks Kelly! That is why I didn't know about it. I haven't been to the January thread yet. I will go over there when I have my January cards to link up!
Can I drop my goal to 5? I'm struggling to get 10 done, I think I'm Christmas carded out by January LOL Also do the cards all have to have stamping on them? I don't want to get in trouble posting the wrong thing.

A card is a card, Deb, and as long as you made it yourself, I don't think it matters whether it's stamped, or a photo card, or a tea bag fold or iris fold card, or whatever.....just as long as you made it yourself. What's everyone else's take on this?

I so agree with you, Ina.....you said it perfectly!

It may be tacky, but at least one set of mine this year are going to have stickers on them just because they are in my stash and I'm not throwing them away.

Angie, I still have a box of stickers and use them occasionally! Sometimes the sticker has just the perfect picture for the look you are trying to capture.

Keep in mind, ladies, I'm still planning to do the CCC VSD here on the 25th.
Maybe by then I'll be able to get to the craft room computer LOL so I won't be running up and down stairs.

It is your own personal goal.
How many do you need to send oout, divided by 10.
Kelly had a great idea... if you need 10 a month, do 2 a week (or 3 if there is only 4 weeks int he month)

Got any patterns you can share with us?
An Iris fold Christmas card.... I really want to try that!

You use whatever you want.
I know what you mean about that stash! I try hard to share stickers whenever possible! LOL
Clint had a dentist appt this mornign that took HOURS!
then the drive was horrid! We had a snow storm last night and some roads aren't plowed yet, mine included. Saw an accident, not sure that was a good thing the cop was just standing there and the truck was upside down.
then finally got home only to find the grader stuck sideways on our road.
Clint went up to the neighbors to see if they can get something out to help him... then he is cutting the half wall down from behind my desk, so I can turn my desk around flat to the wall.
I have a book with iris fold patterns. there are ornaments and trees of two sizes and lots more (I haven't looked at the book for ages) If you are interested, I can scan some and e-mail them to you.
It takes a lot of time, but once you get started, it really is quite easy.

Thanks :-D
I was put on extended moderation on another group as I posed a card that didn't meet their 'rules' so I was worried about it.
In addition to may goal of 6 cards a month, my secondary challenge is to do all of my Christmas cards using only existing supplies. Is any one else a "hoarder"? I find some really cute things, buy them, and then don't want to use them because they are so cute!

Oh, I SO hear you. I do that all the time, and this year I vow to USE my stash.
That is totally my problem - I joined the Stamp to Spend (STS) group here - it has really helped my motivation! I am in the black so far! - I need to update my siggy since I spent most of the day yesterday cleaning my scrap room and finishing up a few cards.

I hear ya. I have found stuff I don't remember buying and have no clue why I bought it. I know it was for some long forgotten project. The other day I went through my stashes and pulled everything out that was Christmasy and put it in a rolling tote so I have to use it up before buyhing anything else.
I so agree with using your stash. I have so much in my stash that I could make cards for a very long time. So I think I will try to do that also. I would like to make cards from my stash all year. I did finish my January cards but will upload them tomorrow. I am at work right now anyways. I hope all are having a great Sunday. Kathy

OMG They are beautiful!
I would love copies! I really want to try that!

Last year I bought all the papers to do all 11 months worth in January at a sale at Archivers.... then saw cards int eh gallery or where ever and changed my mind so I have those papers left from last year!

So bad!
Oh no you are not alone on that one. I could probable have my own sale. I am such a paper hound. I just love all the different colors and textures. I have one I like and then buy it then see others I like also. Of course I still have tons of it. Kathy

LOL! I'm pretty sure this is how I ended up with a room full of stuff that I have had for years and had to join the S2S challenge this year.

Thanks for posting this - I wondered what the 'Stamp 2 Spend' thing was all about. Off to check it out!
I worked on my January card last night. Looks cute. Just have to put it together which probably won't be until Wednesday, but then I'll have January done.
And, Kelly does have a good thing going and I'll be able to use my January card for the S2S challenge from last week also.
