Kathy, what a great idea you posted to the FAQ. I never would have thought of that! Thanks for doing the pictures, too, as I usually need a visual aid.
Thanks, I wasn't going to do pictures, but visual is better for me Explaining things clearly with the english language isnt my strong suit!
Welcome to the thread ... I really like Opposites Attract and Tear Drop ...
I have Teardrop too I like it, but OA and AlphaLicious are now on my wish list waiting for the next round of Sales. I wish roberts had waited a few weeks doing it the week after Mother's day when I had just purchased a few carts at michaels sale was too much.
I am thinking we should keep a calendar of who's sales are when and see if they repeat annually then we could better plan our purchases. KWIM That 25 $ a cart was a heck of a deal.
I had one more thing I was thinking about, you dont supposed Robyn is selling all those stamps on ebay and at her thread to afford/make room for a new Expression do you? Humm I was just wondering out loud!!!;)
Well, I don't card-make at all. (although it looks intriguing) and I am currently scrapping only adult stuff as we have no kids yet. But that will be very soon. Soooo.... I really like Opposites and Zoo, from what I can tell. And thanks for the welcome!
I just used my Jasmine cart on a wedding album I made for my SIL. I love my all of my carts, really. ;)
I just needed to report that I FINALLY used my Cricut today! I had so much fun! I was just cutting things out to cut them out! I was giggling like a 4 year old and enjoyed every single minute of it! Thanks so much, for enabling me! I am so hoping to return the favor someday! *giggle* ;)
Congrats on using it!!! I love my bug, it's so much fun!
Are you really saying that after waiting a few weeks to get it for Mom's day it still took you a week to use it!!! You do belong on this thread that seems to be the way it is around here!;) Glad you enjoyed it.
Unfortunantly, that is EXACTLY what I am saying! :( We have been doing some remodeling around the house and that has taken presidence over other stuff (like crafting) but I DID have so much fun just cutting things out to cut them! *giggle*

I finally found time to post the card I made using the three cricut carts to my Blog check it out. Iused MM, ZOO, And George. Its the one I posted the scallopped circle part of earlier.
Have a good morning everybody. I have another busy day and evening. Kids and School you have to love the end of the school year!;)
Shell: I need an update on your Dad, How's he doing this week?
I wasnt I was sitting its just a big limb was coming so I bailed over the back seat but I was still holding the steering wheel I ended up sitting on the back end and the front pointing int he air.
Ok, I know what you mean... I've done that before... not the tree thing, but the not paying attention and then looking up to see a huge branch bearing down on my noggin'....
It probably will be soon. Maybe this week end when you have time to look at it.
Yay!!! I got it today!!! Saturday we went to get the mail before going tree shopping and there was a little note saying they "missed" us... whatever!!! how could they miss us if we were home all morning until 12:15pm when we left and the mail goes at 11:30??? she just didn't want to take the time on a Saturday when it was so nice out.... oh, well, went in this mornig to the post office and got it... I am pondering what to take... hmmm....
so, where do we go to find out who we send to next? is it by the rak list???
This weekend I am treating myself to a pedicure and then gardening. I think I am going to to a veggie garden with my younger two kids. they have never done veggies before and I thought I would do a garden this year since we were strolling a nursery and my 8 year old son didn't know that celery grows with green leafy stuff at the tops!!! LOL. They've never seen veggies in a garden; how sad is that? LOL
Nitey nite all!
Yeah, we are getting ready to get our garden in this weekend too... waiting for a friend to come and till our garden as ours is on the fritz once again... uh!!!
I did keep my giga Oval one until I can get Alphalicious.;) if you like I have Alphalicious and can RAK you some ovals....
I used 3 carts last night making cards. I cut squares out of a strip of paper to make a long window w/ george. I also cut the circle, scalloped circle and shadow scalloped circle foundations all set at 2.5 but the finished size is about 2 1/4. Very nice, I like the color combo and how they fit so nice together....
Heres a picture what I did with the circles.
I like them a lot! I so need to get busy and do something...

Yay!!! now you need to make something and share with the rest of us!!!
Just picked up one at the QVC outlet in Rehoboth Beach - was $140 for the Cricut with 2 cartridges (George/Basic Shapes & Doodletype) then got a bunch of other cartridges for $31 each! Think they are on sale till mid-week - here's the number to call to find out where they are...

Congratulations and welcome to the cult! That was a really awesome price, too. Can't wait to see what you create.

Very cute I think its darling.
FOr the paper I cut the rounded square from george at I believe 4.5" and 3.5" for the circle ones. then I clip the coaster with the corner rounder punch matches perfectly with the rounded corner of george. or you could just sand it down to size.
I'll check the dimensions later and repost if its other than what I said I just measured the width of the coaster and cut at real dial size.
Thats how I cut reg. white paper for pages on a round note book I made also.

OHHHHHHHH, I wouldv'e never thought of that. However my coasters already have their corners rounded!! I will try that out later on tonight, my little niece wants one, and she's 2! She just loves to write and read. She keeps telling me, "in a while you'll give it to me?" She breaks my heart, I'm going to make her a cute one tonight. Thanks for the heads up!!

you still need to round them a bit they are a little bit larger than the square the cricut cuts.
OH DEAR!! I just hate to keep on adjusting, but oh well!!
You know my husband gave me his dremel tool so I could do the sanding, and I messed up one! I guess it was too powerful, but now that I know how it's a miracle worker ;)

Thanks for the tip I have a dremel and I never thought to use it to sand coasters down. That would be great.. Isn't it great that practice makes perfect!
