Just dropping in to say hi! I joined SCS a little while ago when I discovered the galleries. I get so much enjoyment and inspiration from looking at all the beautiful cards! I'm relatively new to stamping and I'm very excited about trying techniques from the resource page. This is a fabulous site. So glad I found it, even though it has cost me bundles of $$. (I fall in love with SU sets once I see examples of cards that can be made from them, and then I go on a shopping spree!!)
Hi There,
I've been looking at SCS for quite awhile. Just decided to try and chat with other stampers. Still don't know how to navigate everything. Not a SU demo. but love the stuff and my good friend has workshops that I go to often. If she didn't sell SU, I might...well...probably not. I have other friends that sell..I just teach what I learn to a group at my Friends of the Library room. FUN...take care..Debi
I scrolled down, don't see 'submit', but will click 'Post Quick Reply' and see what happens. There's lots of scrapbooking stuff in my basement that I would like to make better use of, so it will be nice to be able to communicate. Thanks.
Oh I am so sorry, it does not say "submit" but post quick reply. that's it. be sure to explore Beth, check out the resource pages, and the gallery pages, so many wonderful ideas.
I'm a total newbie both on SCS and as an SU demo. I guess you could say I just sort of jumped right into the deep end!! I love arts & crafts and am totally addicted to stamping.
I'm really hoping to get some great information here to help me become a successful demo, run my blog, help others & make some great stamping pals!:p
Wow--lots of messages while my computer was out getting rejuvenated! With my schedule, I'm somewhat inconsistent with checking in, but eventually, I'll log in. I also love looking at the gallery--thanks to everyone for their entries.
havent done any crafting in quite a few years.i had cataract lens implant surgery and am enjoying being able to SEE again.i joined a few days ago but have been exploring the site and enjoying so much i forgot to even post a hello to all.i am currently working on making marble magnets and corner bookmarks to donate for the church down the street yardsale.
it keeps me occupied and is something helpful for others.i do find cost a big factor for me so tend to substitue if i can with other less expensive supplies.

Welcome MarkH! be sure to check out the forums and get in on some conversations, join some swaps, and just plain browse! Tell us a little about yourself. how long have you crafted, and what is your fav thing to do?
I am new to SCS and I'm looking forward to finding my way around your sites, learning new techniques, seeing all the wonderful galleries, and getting to know everyone. I love to do swaps and look forward to checking out the swapping world. I not only use stamps but I also love to pull images from my computer to use on my cards. The vintage style is my favorite but I just love to throw a little whimsy into my art from time to time. Hello everyone, My name is Debbie
Hi, I'm totally new to SCS and I'm having a bit of a hard time learning my way around. Looks like I'll be spending the day trying to figure this out so if I go to the wrong places or make mistakes, I apologize. My name is Debbie

Hello everyone. I am new to this site. Just wanted to introduce myself. I am really excited to make some new friends. I have no friends that like to card make or scrapbook. It would be awesome if I could meet some crafters that live in my area.
Welcome to the forum, Stephanie! Everyone is very nice here, and you just might meet someone close to you! Check out the "get it together" forum further down and you can post to see if anyone is near you!
Hello and thank you for responding to my post. I will check out the "get it together" forum. Funny you should mention becoming a SU demonstrator, because I took advantage of the deal for the month of June, and I decided to give it a shot. I am really nervous about it though, because like I said I don't know anyone who crafts. I have started by creating a Stampin' up fan page of facebook. My friend is actually in the process of creating it for me and should be done soon. I also have a blog, but thus far I have only really featured my work that I have done with my cricut. I LOVE Stampin' up products...the cardstock and ink is amazing. I would welcome any suggestions you may have on getting started with demonstrating and how to make connection with other crafters.
Stephanie , ask your upline for advise or use your Stampin'Up web site . Look in their Business resources pages . I am a HOBBY Stampin'Up demonstrator and love that there is no pressure to work one way or another . What ever works for you and your circle of friends / relatives . My first "workshop/Demo Day was a group of four of my friends around for a fun afternoon of card making . I offered a prize for the first to hold a party at their place . That was in March 2008 and I am as excited about creating and sharing as I was then , if not more . http://shirley-anne-stampingforjoy.blogspot.com/
Relax , I've seen your work .Just continue having fun and the rest will follow.

Welcome Stephanie! you will love it here. Explore as much as possible and I highly recommend the home page as it has lots of info for ya! have fun and welcome!
Hi ScrappingStephanie, You will learn a lot here. I'm not a SU demonstrator..but one of my best friends just signed up. And another friend is just quitting...health reasons and a move too. I teach little classes at our Friends of the Library once a month. We can't buy and sell there..but I do have a SU friend come teach a class once in awhile. And if any of the students need anything, they know who to call. We only have a small JoAnn's and a Michaels near us. All the stamp and paper stores have moved, closed...or are at least an hour away. I also have a friend that sells Close to My Heart that gives a class when she can. Do you have a Library that has an extra room for classes. We have a class pot...for $$ to replace paper..ribbons...etc. Then some of the money goes to the Friends of the Library too. A percentage. I also work there volunteer there weekly in the Friends book store. It's lots of fun, and meeting new people. I only work for my eye Dr. part time...so I have lots of time to help others learn the stamp craft. And here on SCS...you have lots of inspiration. They are a GREAT GROUP OF CRAFTERS. Debi
Good evening. Wow, I just want to thank everyone for their responses and the warm welcome. I had a hard time getting back to this original post, can anyone tell me how I find my post quickly. I finally gave up and went into my email and clicked on the link to return here. I am so excited I found this site and I am looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Once you get to SCS, look on the left and click on "my subscriptions" then you can navigate all the strands you have posted to. Someone correct me if I am wrong, please!
Thank you, that need not seem to bring me to my specific post. I will have to keep playing around with it. Maybe I am doing something wrong. I was also wondering how you make a signature line like you have.
