[QUOTE=sam*;16084021]Hello everybody.. I'm new here and recently became a Stampin' Up Demonstrator!! I'm waiting for my kit to arrive and so excited!![/QUOTE
Hello! I am very excited to have been told about this site! I am anxious to get re-connected with my stamping hobby and extend my frame of reference to add new techniques and skill. I am a newly retired school teacher and am just now allowed the time to really enjoy my hobbies. I am also a wool spinner, and a fiber artist. I love anything creative. I am looking forward to learning new things and also to integrate my other hobbies into my stamp art.
Well can I say welcome to SCS! Please be sure to explore, post, ask questions, share, and make some new friends! Check out the threads, the resources and the galleries for inspiration! I guarantee you will love it here and come again, and again!
Again, welcome, make yourself at home. May I offer you a cup of tea?
Hello everyone, my name is Tracie and I am from Hampshire in England. Although I joined SCS in January, I have only every posted twice so am quite new too. I am loving this site and am spending far too much time on it browsing all of your talented work when I am supposed to be doing housework!
Hi,
My name is MaryLou and I am new to Splitcoast Stampers. I have known
about it for several years but never had the time to truly spend. I had my own Stamp and Scrapbook store for a few years and got to share my cards and ideas there, I truly miss that, so this can now take that place. I am looking forward to getting to know people on this site and share and have some fun. Thanks everyone for all the great ideas you share.
My name is Jeane and i am new to SCS!. Also new demonstrator as well. Joined SU! on February 2010.
hopefully i can learn a lot from here and got much needed inspiration from here.
Glad that i found this site!!

Welcom Jeane, I am Leslie (stampinfeat). I have only been here for a month or so, but I can assure you that you will love this site! I learn things every-single-day about tools, techniques, things to purchase and where to get the best deals, on and on. I used to be a Stampin' Up! demo and loved it. I had to stop demonstrating because I ran out of time with teaching and having two active daughters. I did love it though! Enjoy the site .
ok....i just found a new addiction of making cards .....and still trying to get a couple of scrapbooks done...i am not associated with either but found this through a web search and thought there was allot of talented ladies on here and wanted to learn allot more than what i know(which isn't much...lol) prefer the rubber stamps though than the one's on the wood...if that helps. could some one direct me on where to go???

Thank you for the tip about Stampin Connection, however, when selecting the link, it says that membership is by invitation only. I signed up as a Demonstrator this month. Can someone confirm who I need to contact to gain access to that site?
After logging into the Demonstrator's area of Stampin Up! I select "show & tell" and then "Stampin Connection". Is there an alternative way of accessing?
I cannot even find the Show and Tell bit, can anyone help please???
After logging in through the Demonstrator access at: https://www.stampinup.com/us/enu/login.asp. Once you are in as a Demonstrator, you will find 8 links above your name. The third one from the left should say "Show & Tell". There is a sub-category when you hover your mouse over it for Stampin' Connection, (it's the first sub-category on the list).
You can also just click on "Show & Tell", where the new page will open that has all the sub-categories listed.

what happens if you dont make it ? can anyone help this is the only thing that is stopping me from doing it since i dont know anyone around me that is also into stamping
thank you for your input!!

I have just gotten started and signed up primarily for the discounts. Everyone I have talked to has never indicated that they did not meet their goal. When reviewing the agreement, I found that you are given a little bit of wiggle room at first.
I have a group of 5 women who get together once a month and we work on a project. Everyrone orders a minimum of 30.00 merchandise (to meet 150 hostess eligibility) and 1 person per month get's to be the hostess. Filter them through so get to earn the hostess rewards.
I have found that the ones who are up to hostess next - they usually order more so they can earn a higher bracket. This goes over very well.
There is also an arsenal of training video's and training courses on the website to help out new and even experienced Demonstrators.

I am not a Stampin Up demo but my friend is and I go to all her workshops
I am from West Yorkshire in England and I dont think we have a site for cardmakers as big as this so its a little bit scary I am hoping to get involved in things just need the confidence
Hi..anyone...Just trying this out. Not sure what or how this forum works. But hey..I'll figure it out bit by bit. Love looking at the galleries etc. on the Splitcoaststampers site. Been stamping for about 14 years or so. And whatever I learn, I love to teach others. Bring the joy of stamping to others. Lots of our stores have closed over the past couple years due to the rough times at hand. Well...happy stamping!
Welcome, Debi! I hope you share some of your creations in the gallery!
If you love teaching and bringing the joy of stamping to others, and lots of your stores are closing, you could think about becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! The papercrafting store that comes right to your door!
Hi and Thanks for the input. But I have two good friends that sell SU. And another that does Close to My Heart. Another just quit TAC..so I just buy what I really want..and get together with my stamping friends...and have a GREAT TIME. And I love Splitcoaststampers..have been getting the weekly emails..but decided I'd check out the rest of the site and STUFF. smile! We have a new internet service that makes this all faster and more fun. I may try to scan some cards in the future and share here too. JUST LOVE SEEING EVERYONES STAMP ART. It keeps things fun and exciting. Thanks again... just me...Debi
