Had a surprise at my door yesterday afternoon. I think I know who it's from, but I need to know for sure so I can say my proper thank yous.
Off and running to get dress, pay bills and hit the post office up again. Also need to address xmas cards and get them out today...running so far behind.

That's really cool! Ever since I was born and probably before that even (which was a VERY long time ago), on Christmas Eve, Santa rides around Glen Burnie giving out treats to the kids and reminding them they need to go to bed early so he can come to their house later. I still remember how excited we would get knowing he was coming! Then years later it was fun watching my own kids waiting for him to come down our street!
That is great! I have no idea how long they've been doing it in Bowie, but all the neighbors come out of their houses, and last night being warm, it's just really neat. I'm glad to hear other neighborhoods do it too! What memories!
every month on the 16th I check the credit card statement and make a payment...and Lo and behold, there's a recent charge from 7Kids that I DID NOT make....
I think I am getting a Scor Pal!! WooT!!!!
But if he is mean and does NOT put it under the tree and saves it for my Birthday, If I find where he hid it, can I be evil and open it early?!
I won't tell him, I will let him 'surprise' me really I would act all excited and everything...
LOL! You crack me up! I hope you get your scorpal for Christmas! If he didn't get the cutting mat/stamping mat that fits in it you NEED it. I will have mine at the SBS I had a bad table nothing was stamping even.

oh you mean all my images that came out wonky weren't necessarily my fault?!
I didn't expressly tell him to get the mat since I didn't know it was a must have.. so he gets a pass on that.. But I will make sure I get it at some point...
Beware ladies.....we just got sleet up here. It wasn't supposed to get icy until 6pm....Mother Nature needs a new watch!
No sleet here in Bowie, but they say it's going to get really bad up your way Kimmee. It's drizzling here so if it gets much colder it could get slippery. I just went out and finished my Christmas shopping for DH, just in case it gets worse this week.
Yes, I think if he is ornery enough to bypass Christmas, then you can officially snoop around and open it up. Tell him you found it while cleaning. Even if it's in the trunk of his car. Or, better yet, find it, open it, hide it yourself and leave him a note where he had it hid!

Rhonda, you surprise me! Such a devious mind for such a prim and proper lady!

I did that once to my DH! He's so funny. One year he bought me something for Mothers' Day and forgot to give it to me. He had it "hidden" in the trunk of his car. I found it one day when I was using his car for grocery shopping! So I took it out and left him a note! I do love a practical joke! (especially when I'm doing it!)
I won't be.. road trip to Bethesda.. oh joy of joys. can't wear my long johns unless I wanted to take 20 minutes to strip down to a lovely open backed paper gown..

My silly husband had the day off to go shopping....so he got up early and went to the junk yard. I better not get used car parts for Christmas. Then he went to Arundel Mills. So I'll be lucky if he makes it home by dinner anyway. He said he considered going to the Outlets in Gettysburg, but from the junk yard AMills was just as far as G-burg. What he didn't consider was the drive home. Military Intelligence at it's finest ladies
This sure has been a very long day! I already want to go to bed, but have to work on DS's science fair crap for him and go gift wrapping tonight for the boy scouts....yawn, maybe I'll take a little nap.

Just checking in after being gone since early Monday morning (Office Leader Convention for work in Atlantic City). I'm exhausted...
I have been to the Ribbon Outlet in Hagerstown. Warning - it is closed on Sundays, Mondays and Holidays. It is near the Prime Outlets. I think it is kind of hit or miss, but I have found lots of stuff to buy the two times I have visited there... Great prices!
Off to volunteer at the Secret Santa Shop, then to grocery shop and home to put together a board as much as possible before DS gets home so he can glue down and add whatever floats his boat.
