Things are looking good for me. I will be there Saturday, hopefully with a friend or two!
A friend just went to Rock Paper Sissors in old St. Charles this weekend and said it was a nice place. Not a lot of stamps (like Inkspot) but she had classes and such too. I had a piece of paper with the info on it, but I lost it!!! She said it was towards the beginning of old St. Charles.
Nora's right, it's Memories Unlimited (by Walmart on Manchester W of 270).
There's another Hobby Lobby at Lindburgh (Kirkwood) and 44, and another on Manchester, even farther West than Memories unlimited.

There is also For Keeps Sake on Lemay Ferry in South County. They have lots of, well, everything. I really like going there although it normally costs me too much money They are really nice people to work with.
Hi Ladies-
Let's just cut for 10 people- to be safe!
I have these ladies confirmed:
Showmestamper
deelite
gadget19 maybe a friend or two
mglgeorge maybe a friend
Theresa Marie maybe a friend or two
I have extra stuff here if we need to adjust supplies!
If anyone else is interested let me know so I can give you directions and plan for more!
Looking forward to a great Saturday afternoon of Stamping!
Thanks Girls,
Theresa Marie
Does anyone have a black that dries fast on glossy/metallic cardstock that they could bring for me? I have Stazon, but I don't like to use that for swaps b/c of the cleaning... I bought Brillance to try it but it did not work on the CS I have... I have a really cheap black ink pad (child safe?) that seemed to work better, but it's really hard to ink up since it's so cheap.
I'm sorry girls, I need to be checking this thread more often! I don't believe I'll be able to make it tomorrow. I'll do my best to check often for the March class. Or if no one has volunteered... I'd be glad to try hosting again. Let me know, and I promise to check. Or pm me.
Beth, thanks for checking in. I so appreciate that. My little sister is hosting a Stampin Up party tomorrow at 1:00, and it sounds like the weather may be uncooperative altogether. So bummed tho that I won't make it.
Have a blast! Keep me posted on the next swap or if I can host. Later ladies!
I just wanted to let you know that I am not coming tomorrow. Somehow I got on the verified list coming for tomorrow. This was the date that I couldn't make it. Hubby's big birthday party tomorrow. Let me know about next month.

Shoe Box Swap Postponed to February 24, Saturday 1-4!
Ladies, After some discussion, we thought with the weather and low turnout for the swap for today that we would Reschedule it for next Saturday, February 24 from 1-4p.m. at Theresa's House! We want to see all of you ladies and trade some great ideas! Please PM me if you can make it and I will send you back directions to my house! Please let me know ASAP so we can get some numbers out to those participating!
Take Care abd Enjoy your weekend and stay warm!!
Theresa
Hey everyone. I hope to be able to join you for a shoe box swap sometime! I can't do next Sat (DH's bday) but maybe March. Let me know when you have a date. I could also host at my house somtime--I'm in St. Louis City (near Soulard and Lafayette--and yes, I like today's weather becuase it's keeping a lot of the crazy people at home. )
Also, Red Lead changed it's name to Paperworks (that's what their sign says now). Also, I don't know if I saw the Scrapbook store on Lindbergh mentioned. It's on Lindbergh just North of 270 by the Schnucks. Not a huge amount of stamps but some.
I posted pics of my kitchen in case anyone is interested. I never thought I would be happy to cook again, but after 3 months of living with my fridge in my living room and eating frozen dinners... I am thrilled to have my stove back. The link is here:
See some of you next week. Let's hope the snow they are calling for next Sat is wrong! (What are the chances of weather personal being right 7 days in advance?)

Ciao! My brain is still in Italy, even though my body is at work. I wonder if I can talk them into selling gelato in the cafeteria?
I didn't think that I was going to be able to make it to February's swap, but it seems circumstances (weather and work) are working in my favor. We were supposed to go skiing this coming weekend, but my husband is going to be stuck at work. I wasn't looking forward to 7 hours on a bus, but I am now looking forward to 3 hours of stamping.
Now I just need to come up with a card. It's a good thing I've got a couple of days, because I need to catch up on my sleep this evening.
I am sorry I can't make this Saturday either. Feb is a big bday month for family and we are having ANOTHER party on Saturday. I will be so glad when this month is over. Hoping for March for sure. Please let me know the March date, where and when. Can somebody take pics of the cards on Saturday and post them? I know in March, I will be sure and bring my camera, this time with NEW charged up batteries.
Thanks
Let's try this again Ladies! They can't keep us from stampin'! I am really looking forward to seeing everyone! Below is a list of ladies confirmed and as of today let's just cut for 10. If that number changes I will post the new information.
Theresa Marie and a friend
Showmestamper
gadget19
mglgeorge
Lynn in St. Louis
Tetris
Ladies let me know if anyone else is able to come and I will PM you the directions to my house!
Thanks,
Theresa Marie
My name is Jenny and I live here in St. Louis. I found this website by accident and when I saw you guys all lived in my area i thought how exciting. So needless to say I had to join the forum. I've been stamping for over 3 years now and i just love it.
So i just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi!!!
Hi Jenny,
I am so glad that you found us. If you have been reading this thread, you probably know that we have a shoe box swap coming up THIS SATURDAY. I can't speak for Theresa, the hostess, but there may be room if you would like to join us! I know we would love to meet you!
It's not a stupid question at all. A shoe box swap is where you make one card complete, and then have all the "fixin's" for each person to make an exact copy of your sample. All the card stock is cut to size, and all embellishments are included so that all each person does is move from one station to another making the card that is sampled. Does that make sense?
I won't be able to make it to this swap. But, if you guys have another one i could make then. I would love to me you all. But, yes the shoebox swap sounds like fun.
Does anyone have Theresa's telephone number? If so, please PM it to me. I always like to have a telephone number in case I get lost. See you all tomorrow.

Oh! that reminds me....whenever you are coming, please PM your phone number to the hostess. If something comes up...like the weather!, the hostess will have a way to get a hold of you.
Can't wait to see you all on Saturday. For those who can't make it, mark your calendars for Saturday, March 24th at my house. When we get closer I'll keep an updated list and send everyone directions to my house.

Hello, I recognize alot of your SCS names and love your work. My sister just told me about this thread. I live in Washington, Mo about 40 miles southwest of St. Louis. We have a great stamp store here, The Artfull Hand. The store is having a gently used rubber stamp and products sale on Saturday March 24th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Here is the web site for the store www.theartfullhand.com. I would love to try to make one of your get togethers. It sounds like you have been having a good time! Beverly
Boy did we have a fun time at Theresa's house Saturday. It may have been raining outside, but the weather didn't put a damper on the fun we had inside! Thanks Theresa for being such a fabulous hostess! I've uploaded the few pictures that I took at the "party". Here they are.
