It has been quiet on here - is everyone getting ready for the stampede?
I think I'm ready for the Stampede. I've had my name tag and card kits done for a couple of days now, surprisingly. I was determined to get enough done so that I wasn't worried about it yesterday, my 10th wedding anniversary, and I managed to get them all done.
The only thing left is to throw a few things in my bag to cover my basic supplies kit.
Is anyone from this group going to the dinner tonight at Zapata's? (beside Melanie - who I'm riding with) While I won't be at the Stampede tomorrow, I did want to chance to say HI to all of the nice ladies I met last year, and perhaps meet a few more.

Hi Marilyn - and happy anniversary Melissa! Wow its been a crazy week, but I am finally ready for the Stampede!!! I will be one of the late comers (babysitting issues) but look forward to seeing many of you tomm. I am sooo nervous - I hope everyone likes my card!
I just got an email from Theresa saying that she was having a stamp camp on May 4th. I know several of you expressed interest in attending her next one, but I didn't see anyone's name on the email. If you'd like the details, PM me with your email address and I'll forward the email to you.
As an added bonus, she's serving margaritas. It's quatro de mayo!
That has the potential to make stamping a little more interesting.

Does anyone know when the next swap is?? I didn't get to go to the last one and i wanted to try and make it to this months.
I can't say for certain, but I think that because of the Stampede that was held last weekend, everyone opted to wait until May...sometime. I'm still not certain who will be hosting the next event...or even the date. Has that been decided yet?

Kelly told me that you spoke up for May but I am willing if you can't; just let me know. I am open all weekends but the 19th, because of DD 2nd B-day.
I miss seeing you all that didn't make it to the Stampede.

Hey! does anybody miss me???:mrgreen: I miss you gals. I wish I could make it out to one of the stamping get togethers but I ALWAYS have my little man on the weekends. DH had to take a day off to keep him for the stampede:rolleyes: .

Ha Ha, thanks Kim. I wish I could stamp with you gals but I live a crazy life. LOL DH works for AT & T and I have my office out of the house here so I can stay with the little man and things just seem way too hectic. But my life could be sooo much worse.;)

Kelly just asked if I was still willing to host our Saturday get together, in May. I would be happy to have everyone here at my place, down south. Lets talk dates.

Sorry you can't make it Melanie. We will see if we can make the 12th work, if not, we will try to change it to the first of June. GL with your surgery, wish I could have lasik. I am sure you will do great!

I don't think that I'll make the May 12th swap. :( I just got back from a stamp filled weekend, and have a busy two weeks ahead of me with work, end of year stuff for sorority and my DD is graduating college on the 19th. I'm just a little overwhelmed at the moment. I'll miss you all, but will be ready in June.
Sorry you are all stamped out for a while Lynn. Can't wait to hear how SO Cal went.
