Not sure if it is too late to get more information on this group, but I would love to start attending your monthly swaps. I moved here a week ago from Raleigh, NC and am in the NEED to stamp! I now have no upline and already miss the guidance! My husband and I are from IL but we like cities--so here we are!
Hope to meet you soon!

Stephanie,
It's NEVER too late. We are a very friendly group who are always looking to add smiling faces to our group. Get your swaps ready and join the fun!
Stephanie, welcome to STL. You are more than welcome to join us, you'll have a great time. If you can make it tomorrow we will have 8 swappers. Let me know if you want me to PM directions to my house if you can make it tomorrow.

I hope it was fun yesterday (gosh, I know it was). So sorry I missed it. I was really looking forward to meeting everyone. Can't wait to see what you made.
Hi y'all. We had a great time at Melanie's Saturday and even met a new stamper, Linda Henderson (who isn't on SCS yet, but we will wear her down, I'm sure...lol). I have uploaded my versions of the projects that we completed. So, to check them out click here <-----
Thanks so much to Melissa for her hospitality, good food, and air conditioning.. Thanks to everyone else for providing awesome projects and GREAT conversation!!!
Ladies, I am posting this here cuz if you're like me you have email alerts for this thread and no emails for the Stampede thread... a little proding to those of us that haven't gotten things in yet. They have 41 signed up that are interested, but probably 10-15 that are actually paid for right now.
PS. Thank you Melanie for all your hard work this past weekend!!
Stampeders (Aut quote),
If your name is on the list and you have not completed your REG FORM or sent in your payment please do so ASAP! If for some unforseen reason you need a bit more time YOU MUST PM or EMAIL ME BEFORE WEDNESDAY of next week!
The Deadline to REGISTER is MARCH 31st and the Deadline to pay your fee is April 7th. On April 2nd I will be removing those from the list that I have not heard from.
WE will be working on our final numbers the week of April 2nd so it is very important for everyone to get their information to me by then. THANKS SO MUCH!
*fyi: I will be sending out an email reminder as well. I don't want to miss anyone.

I'm being indecisive. I think I've narrowed it down to 2 cards for the Stampede and I can't decide.
I'm leaning toward the biplane, because there are less supplies involved and it's my favorite stamp. But, I keep thinking it needs something. Maybe the biplane needs some color?

I like both cards. I agree that if you go with the bi-plane, it needs some color to make it pop out from the same colored sky. I'm partial to the flower card only because I'm loving all the flower/spring cards right now. I'm sure which ever card you choose, everyone will love it!
Love them both. I like the bi-plane card mostly because I have nothing like it and have never done a shadow box card before. Maybe a different color ink on the bi-plane. Maybe just color in the wings or the body? The dimensional on the plane does a whole lot for it.
Hi everyone! I am new to seeing your post - I actually thought this was the post for the Stampede! I am in Fenton, and would love to get together with you all next time you get together! When is your next swap together? I am trying to find a group to stamp with, because my friends who I used to stamp with are getting too busy for get togethers! I am going throught withdrawl!!! :0( (p.s. - Hi Linda!)
Hi Heather! I'm so glad that you found this thread. We would love to have you join us when we next meet, although I'm not sure when that will be. The last time we got together we decided not to do a swap in April because of the Stampede, for many of the ladies in our group will be attending that event. As long as you keep watching the thread, you'll have all the information that we do! I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you!
I love that bi-plane stamp! With a bunch of guys on my hubbys side that fly or like airplanes I could always use another airplane card! I really like the flower card too, so whichever you decide will be great!
Welcome Heather! I will be at the Stampede in April, so I will keep my eyes open for you!
Ladies I am working for the CK Convention this year, Thurs April 12th 12-4 (not open to the public) and Friday 8-12. It just happened to land on my already planned vacation... and I get $30 per shift, so why not? Maybe I will see you gals there!

I to am new to this STL post - I live in St Clair (MO) and work in Fenton - I just recently joined SU as a demo and have an open house planned for the weekend of the stampede but I'd love to join the group at other get togethers. (can't say I've done a shoebox swap - so I'd need some guidance:? ) I'll try to keep an eye on this thread to see what's coming up in the future. Anxious to meet other local stampers!

Hi I'm glad you found us. We're always happy to welcome another enthusiastic stamper to our group. Just keep watching the thread for updates!
Congrats on becoming a demo and I wish you lots of luck on your open house!
Hi huntin widoow - I am new to this post too, but I actually am in St. Claire every now and then, my DH and I have some friends who moved out there after graduating college. Maybe we can get together in St. Clair sometime too. Where are you in St. Clair?
We live in Lake St Clair - my DH's passion obviously is hunting & fishing and we have 4 lakes here so that keeps him busy when he's not at the bow shop down the road. I work at Edward Jones in Fenton (the office at Gravois & Sugar Creek).
I'm willing to have the St Louis crew out; I have room. I know coordinating calendars can be a challenge; but if anyone wants to drive this way they are welcome.
I can see a get-together in the future.
Happy Easter!

My name is Tracy Smith and I was just given the link to this thread because I'm working for the next few months in St. Louis and was looking for other Stampers/Scrappers! I just read about the Stampede but won't be in town that weekend (usually go home - Michigan - every other weekend and that's it!). However, I'd love to make the monthly events if I'm in town. Thanks all!!

Hi Tracy,
You are always welcome to join one of our shoebox swaps anytime it fits into your schedule. Just keep an eye on this thread for upcoming details. We'd love to meet you!
Have we got a hostess for May? I thought someone volunteered, but I can't remember who. If no one has volunteered, I'd be willing to host again.
I'm still working on my swaps for the Stampede on Saturday, so I really shouldn't be thinking about next month already. Perhaps it's because all of my weekends in May are currently open, and a whole month of open weekends is highly unusual.
Just so that everyone doesn't think I'm avoiding my turn at hostessing...my house is absolutely too small to fit more than 3 other people except me! If someone wants to offer up their home for sacrifice, I'd be happy to "Host" a month at THAT person's house. I'd bring all the food goodies and such. Ok...don't everyone jump up and volunteer at once...lol - I just wanted you all to know that I'm willing. ;)
I am more than happy to host for May. I am in Kirkwood and can comfortably seat 11 maybe 12. I am open to the 5th, 12th or the 26th. My daughter Ali's 2nd birthday is the 20th:-D so that weekend is out for us. Let me know what works best for you and the winning day will be our day.
I will see some of you on Saturday at the Stampede and look forward to seeing everyone else in May.
Dee had volunteered, but I don't want to volunteer her.
I would have loved to have it on the 19th, I can't think of much else I'd like to be doing on my b-day ;) Seriously I think I am free every weekend, although the 5th is coming up too fast to think about it (with the Stampede swap and everything else going on).
I'll be willing to host in the future, whenever I get a kitchen table...

 I would love to join you guys. I'll wait to see the final date and let you know. I have a group for a mini-stamp camp the morning of the 19th so if I can't make the trip for May I'll shoot for the next one.

It has been quiet on here - is everyone getting ready for the stampede? With month end/quarter end going on at work, I haven't been checking in. I volunteer to host one month too. It looks like May is taken so maybe I can host in June! We have a birthday party to go to on the 19th in the afternoon - but if you meet in the morning/early afternoon I would love to come stamp with all of you!!!
Hello everyone!
My name is Marilyn Jones and I've been lurking around this post for a few months. I am not new to STL, and actually not new to stamping or SCS but it wasn't until Jan this year that I began posting. Can I throw my name in to join you in the future? Like everyone, my schedule can get pretty crazy, so I'll wait for the final May date in choosen to see if I can actually make it ! Looking forward to meeting each of you.
