I made my list and noticed that the key word for one challenge is lower case ff-
ff16va.sunshine...is that the key word you all used? On the master tracking sheet it lists the challenge with FF.
it seems to me that when I have hosted in the past they always tell the hosts to type their names in lower case ( even if their screen names have some capitals, spaces or characters) and some characters get left off ( like explanation points) because, it messes with the sorting feature of the gallery.
so, based on that memory I would say having it say ff in lower case is OK.
OK, here's me being anal again, but I want to be absolutely sure I get this right. When we do our Yeti list, we just need to have a list of links to our projects, correct? Don't need to worry about keywords, titles, etc. I have mine done--with just links--and they each work. I also assume they are to be ACTIVE links when we copy & paste? I did mine in Word, and they are all active there. I know I did this type of thing for HYCCT last year, but that was just once, and a whole year ago! Anyway, if anybody wants to chime in and confirm--or correct--my understanding, I would love that! TIA.
Silly question, but since I didn't manage to finish all of the challenges, I don't need do the final list with all the locations of my cards. I just want to put them in the galleries so I can show what I did accomplish , which for me right now, was quite a lot!
The list is only for those who completed all the challenges. Anyone who participated in at least one challenge is automatically put into the drawing for the general prizes! So glad you were able to particpate. When you do upload just make sure you pick the Events gallery, then Falliday Fest and then put in the keyword for whichever challenge you made the card for.
For the Tutorials (such as the shaving cream) You choose the Tutorials Gallery then Holiday Blitz then whichever tutorial you used such as Shaving cream Stenciling.

A lot of us use the keyword in the titles which makes it easy for the people checking and for listing them. If you don't have the keyword in your link, I think it would be best to list the name of the challenge then your link so that the checkers will see which challenge you're linking for. Does that makes sense?
For example
FF16understandblueA Fall Printed Thanks

Thanks, it does make sense! I'll have to go through and add labels to my links list, but that shouldn't take long.

OK, you just made me think of another question. When we do our Yeti lists, do we give the title/keyword and make that a link, or do we just copy & paste the link to our photo. For example, I have used the challenge keywords in each title of my projects. Do I do the project title, and just have it link to my photo in the gallery (e.g. FF16Bejoyce Joy Fold Card Inside formatted as a link), or do we have the text be the actual link (FF16Bejoyce Joy Fold Card Inside by papercrafter40 at Splitcoaststampers)? I hope I'm not muddying the waters further with my question! It's just that I've worked so hard to finish, and I don't want to mess things up now by doing my Yeti list wrong. Hope you (or someone else) can make my brain see clearly! Thank you.
You can do it either way. I think it looks more tidy with the title with keyword formatted as the link itself, but as long as you have the keyword and the link you'll be covered. If you look a previous event such as HYCCT or DTGD queen's thread you will see various formats that people use

Thank you so much, Gail! I feel better now. Confusion is never pretty.
It is a whole new lingo/skill set for me to learn along the way but you can teach old dogs new tricks! I've actually taught my kids a thing or too about links due to my splitcoast life! The best part is that you've got a community of people to help you each step of the way.
Thank you to all the hostesses for the amazing challenges and tutorials. It is great to make cards with my favorite techniques and stamps, but it is also wonderful to be pushed outside my box and discover a new favorite technique. I'm done with making and posting, and will work on the Yeti list this week. My studio, house, life and hubby need some attention!

All you Yetis are amazing! I only did 6 of the challenges and three tutorials, but had fun doing those! I just started too late, and then took me a week to get inspired. LOL Love all your amazing cards!
Can you ask Lydia Clarify the Trersa keyword? I use the one with period. That was in on the master thread. But, I am yetis And I wanted make sure. I don't need to my Keyword And do I? If so what change too? I don't wanted Yetis be mess up because of keyword! Thanks Linda
PS When is the deadline to mail the cards for the card drives?

Keywords are not case sensitive - so FF or ff - all the same to the system.
Linda, the keyword won't affect the card when you link it, so don't worry about that. For the. Yeti list all that matters is having it in the Falliday Fest gallery and having a link to it.
The keyword just helped Teresa (and others) see that it was in the gallery for her particular challenge, and for that, we were told that she was checking both keywords.

Thanks Kathy... I thought the challenges end at noon today, so was hoping it opened this afternoon. What time tomorrow? Since I'm leaving in the morning and won't be home until next week, I'm still working on figuring out how/when I'll be able to post my list.
Whew, way behind on chatter here. I got my Falliday cards done and then life happened! LOL! And I feel badly I can't comment more on cards and such, but the minute I sit down at this computer, the crazy's erupt and everyone seems to need me no matter who is home. Ugh!!!!
When I was in full card making mode, I let a lot go, so as soon as my cards were done, I had to hop back into normal mode!! And today is Halloween and I love doing a theme dinner, so I need to wrap my mind around that! Trick or treating before dinner a bit and then home to dinner ready in the oven is my hopes!

Ask me about hosting a challenge!
I just went through my list AGAIN. They all link to the correct galleries and they keywords all take me to the correct galleries so I guess now it's a wait until open and cut and paste.

I'm ready to post also. It has been so much fun with these challenges. Everyone has outdid themselves. I really appreciate the week to get caught up. This has been great for those trying to complete some of the challenges.
Just running in to say a huge thank you to all the challenge hostess'z! Your themes got me to creating again and it feels wonderful. I think next year I will have to schedule time away from my paid job so I can attain Yeti...grin.
Even still...awesome event, ladies.

I am so happy I started uploading again! I have been gone for a while but I really missed sharing my work and being inspired by others work! This challenge was the perfect way for me to jump back in! I thought I would be able to get them all done but I'm a few short and outta time for now! Looking forward to the next big challenge day! Is there a VSN coming up soon??
Wonderful series of challenges! Some of them were pretty easy; others really lived up to the "challenge" name!!! But I am so happy I got them all done. A huge, Texas-sized THANK YOU to the hostesses for all your hard work and great creativity! Hope to do this again next year.
I had to choose...make all the cards or follow this thread. The other option, give DH and my sons gift cards for 2 weeks of fast food would have worked for the boys, but DH would have fainted dead away. so, this is my first time checking in. so excited that I did all the challenges and 5 tutorials. I had so much fun, stretched my creativity....I feel like the stretechy toy Gumby, and learned some great techniques. Big hugs and thanks to all the hostesses.
So is the deadline over now for uploading? I read and re read this post and not sure. It doesn't matter for me because I've finished the first week, but wondered if others are still uploading or if the gallery closed yet?
I was so close.. I am six cards and three tutorials short.....
I have two cards close to being done of the six and two tutorials almost done I feel AweFul!! I just loaded up almost ten cards heh.
