I'm not sure what's going on Maggie! I know Comcast was the reason I've been without services....going in & out so I didn't get my blog updated. I think I'll save it for next week so I can have more than one post to share :-)

Maggie, I have been having problems getting on SCS in the mornings for several weeks. The page won't load or takes forever before it finally does. Only in the morning though.
Yesterday was the worse though!
I know it is just SCS and not my internet because I can open other pages while I keep trying and those open fine.
I've been having no problems since yesterday morning, but a couple of my chat friends are still having issues getting on SCS, and no one seems to know why.

First, I found this great blog - After Hours Stamper - After Hours Stamper If you scroll down to the section on Copic/Alcohol Markers, she has a link to Taylored Expressions where you can get a free download of head images that you can practice on with your markers or anything else you use to color. You just have to set up an account with TE - free - then you "buy" the download, but it's free. Then you can download the file to your computer, print the pages off, and go to town!
Second thing, Not sure if you saw on my blog that Perfect Sentiments is having a Blog Hop this weekend in honor of National Scrapbooking Day. We will be doing cards though, not scrapbooking pages. Each member of the DT will be having their own separate challenge and will be giving away a prize on their blog. If you take part in at least 4 of the challenges, you will be entered to win a grand prize from Perfect Sentiments. Also, if you grab the button off my blog and post it on your blog and then go link up on the Perfect Sentiments blog post, you will also be entered in another special drawing. Hey ladies!
Have a few minutes to check in. Just wanted to let you know there won't be anything on my blog until next Monday. I'm going to spend Saturday (NSBD) trying to get items for the next 6 weeks done up. We get the granddaughter on the 19th and will have her for 6 weeks LOL I'll have zip creative time. But should have a couple hours in the morning before she's awake to post to blogs and buzz the email.
Just put contest entries in the mail, have more deadlines coming up and so missing creative time.

Happy Friday Paper Bloggers! I'm thinking of leaving the office early today. My boss has gone off to a Seminar. Just have a few things to finish up.
Anyone have awesome plans for the weekend. Not me - just the normal stuff around the house. I'm excited though for 2 weeks. On the 18th I'm going to Dallas for the Intermediate Copics class! I've been waiting for this class for over a year!

Scrapbook Layouts: April: 0/4
I sprayed the back yard for bugs. I was going to spray for weeds, but it said not to do it if the temps are over 85, and it's 88 here now! Also you're supposed to mow first and my lawn guys won't be here until Tuesday unless they come early on Monday like they do sometimes. So I'll spray for the weeds either Monday or Tuesday night. It'll be cooler then also.
I did make a card today and put it on my blog. Still looking for some card makers to come play with our challenges on the Blog Hop. Still have until 6 PM EDT tomorrow night.
