I'm done, I'm done!!!. Good morning ladies!!!. I finished my challenge. I did two cards today to complete challenges and I'm happy. The kids went back to school, we arrange the house yesterday (all the Christmas staff is gone). No laundry to do. No activities today.I hope you all are having a great day. Ok, I took the picture too so now I can prepare it to be post. I found yesterday how to schedule the date for my post and I'm so happy, I use to have my project lying there till the date comes. Thanks! I did get something done right after posting that message. I was mostly annoyed at the cats. It's great that they love to be with us, but they're so clingy sometimes and it's very hard to reason with a cat. :-D
Heather, I know what you are talking about! I have 2 dogs and I mostly get away while my husband sleeps on Sunday afternoons. It never fails, they bark and growl so I will come and play with them. Some afternoons are not productive. Great job though!! You got something done and it was beautiful!
Carolina - (response to the blog comment) I took the copic standard class from copic info here www.copicmarker.com/certification. It was a good start, but the first half of the day was all sales info. The class is mainly geared towards the teachers and store owners. I just enjoy them, but I did learn a lot about the markers. They have an intermediate class that I would like to take also. So that class is my goal for this year. I just need to wait until it comes around. There are many great tutorials online. I started out just watching You Tube and searching for copics. Another great site I love is makeitcrafty.com. Zoe is amazing at what she does. Google is another great source. It seems a bit silly just sitting and watching someone color, but I have taken a something from each one I watch and fit it into my style.

Sorry Heather, I'm not on pinterest. The site is way too big for my computer to support. It takes forever to go from one page to the next. It's super slow for me. So, I just look at the main page every once in a while but not much else.
I just got my challenge creation scheduled to post. Yay! I'm a day ahead giggle!
Checking in this evening--I had a productive day finishing a set of swap cards as getting the post ready for this "new" card. I also went to an open house at a new SU demos house--I saw all of the new mini items as well as the SAB items. WOW--my stamping budget will be stretched the next few months......................
We're all set for tomorrow! can't wait to see everyone's "new" projects!

Ok... I tried to post my card with tomorrows date but didn't work. I guess I have to save it as draft and then click the post button when I want to post it???. Well never mind, it is done!!! Good Morning Friends! I apologize for being absent.....I was sick, my children got sick & then my son left for the Navy. I can't really explain how I'm feeling right now but I'll be OK. I posted about all this on my blog......I'll get to work on my challenge card today.
Hi everyone! I have my card done and I'll post it as soon as I can. I'm really not feeling that well today. I think I have a sinus infection and I have an awful headache today. I've just been trying to rest this morning.
Jackie! So glad to hear from you! I will praying for your son in the Navy. What a great thing he is doing for our country! But, I know it is hard on his mom HUGS

I am very sorry that I come back this late because most of my friends are having winter vacation and we hang out a lot... I didn't expect that coming. I do have the January card made by previous year. (I think I typed wrong somewhere that saying "by next year"....) All it needs it's a photo, then I can post! I will try to visit around and post my challenge card by tomorrow!
I saw your question about pinterest, but just didn't quite know how to answer it! My understanding is that it's like a virtual bulletin board where you can "pin" stuff that catches your eye. But, I haven't really figured it out.
It's been a busy week, but I'm starting to relax now (TGIF!) and will do a tour of everyone's blogs shortly. I have to check out all these "new" projects!!
We are having a family holiday party tomorrow, so Aben, Kathy, Elise and baby Arlyn are coming tonight for supper.
Temps to be in the high 30's today and a sleet storm came through early this morning around 1:30 and woke me up as it was hitting the windows. Nothing on the ground this morning. We are also heading out for a walk in a bit.
Coffee is ready and I'm at my scrap desk I can't decide if I want to make Valentine Cards or use my snowmen stamps sitting here. I'm not very motivated for the snowmen since here in Ohio all the snow is gone and it's 50, very rare for this time of year here!

Good morning ladies!!!. Thanks Heather. I went and saw the website but the screen was so full of things that I felt overwhelmed. I'll try later again. Lela I would love to be in my craft room today as well but some friends are coming to play Mahjong tonight (which I love love!!!) so I need to do some cleaning and cooking :(. I don't send Valentines card to anyone except this year I'm planning to give a special card to my husband. I found this CUTE stamp of this old couple holding hands and I fall in love with it. I still have a six year old boy that would need some treats for school so probably I'll do some crafty thing, but other than that I don't know if you realize that I already started with my Christmas cards for 2012 (yes I'm crazy) but this past Christmas I did everything at the last moment and I missed a lot of Christmas "enjoying time". All this to say that I'll be doing lots of snowman even though this year no snow for us so far ;).

I'm completely sold on doing Christmas cards throughout the year! I joined the Christmas Card Challenge here on SCS last year with a goal to do 5 cards a month. By the time October 31st arrived, I had about 60 cards ready to go and was able to mail everything out on the 1st of December. SUCH a relief from previous years when I'm scrambling to get everything done. I want to try to do the same this year, as I expect with baby it will be harder at Christmas to get everything done but I also expect finding time to do 5 Christmas cards a month will be hard too!!!!!
Good Afternoon--we walked to the store (about a mile and a half one way) The trail was a bit icy in the parts that do not get sun, so we walked on the grass on the edge. It is sunny out, so it is nice to be outside today--but it reminds me of March, instead of early January.
We are cooking the ham today, so the house smells wonderful. I made the baked mashed potatoes too, so they are ready to pop into the oven tomorrow (potato buds, butter, sour cream, cream cheese=no calories at all............ ;) ) A couple of loads of wash are done too, so it has been a productive day.
It has been a very busy week and weekend! We celebrated my great aunt's 90th birthday yesterday and our final Christmas celebration with my husbands brothers' families and parents. Today we are remembering my favorite uncle that passed in May. Today is his birthday so we are getting together as a family to have some brunch and see where the day takes us. Not sure I will have time to do any crafting today as normal. But next Sunday I am getting together with my aunt and cousin to scrapbook. Can't wait, it has been such a long time.
Yesterday I also spent some time cleaning out my car and walking the dogs as it was 50 degrees and sunny in January. I couldn't ask for better weather. I am off to make a cinnamon streusel cake and chop up some fruit for our gathering today. Everyone have a fantastic Sunday and spend time with the ones you love!
Hi everyone! I'm back and feeling much better Thank goodness. I was so sick I went to the doctor on Friday. You'd have to know how sick I was to go to the doctor.
I've just posted my card and I also posted the link to everyone else's blog. Someone in our group did that last month and I thought that was such a great idea.

Happy Sunday Evening--we had a great day. We had 16 people here for dinner as it was a smaller group than in the past. Some were sick, some had other plans and some had to work, so we were about half the size of previous years. But, with a smaller group, we had more time to chat it seemed. Everyone left about an hour ago and I have the dishwasher going, and everything is cleaned up.
Tomorrrow I will start the process of taking down the Christmas decorations. It should take a day or so and as usual, it is good to have the house back to normal. I do leave out the snowman and "snowy" things for a month or so, but with temps in the 30's today and back to 50 by Tuesday, it will be the only sign of winter for awhile. I do know that the snow and cold will be here--but I do not want it to stay around until April!
I'm so glad everyone was able to do the January challenge! The monthly challenges are a big part of our group so let's keep the mojo going each month!!!!
Good Morning--checking in with my SCS pals and then I am tackling the Christmas decorations (don't worry--I will be gentle and not break any). I'd love to get everything packed away today and then roomie can help me put the boxes in the rafters in the garage when she gets home from work.

Carolina- I wanted to let you know about the Sale-a-bration catalog you mentioned on my blog. SAB doesn't start until Jan 24th so the catalog isn't posted anywhere for you to see it just yet. If you (or anyone else) are seeing any cards made with SAB sets then they must be from demos because this year we were allowed to preorder our SAB selections in December.
BTW- if anyone wants me to email them the catalogs when they become available just let me know. I don't like to send emails to anyone unless they request that I do.
