Good Morning! My blog is updated & I'm off to visit you all :-D
BTW, Heather I have a few tins on hand that I decorate & make a pocket for the gift cards. I've also used my Big Shot & the Scallop Circle die to make cute gift card holders.....hope that helps a bit :-)
Good Morning--I completed two sets of swap cards yesterday and have one more set to finish today to get them all postal. I have a dentist appointment this morning-going to start on a crown--YUCK!
I'm very sorry for not posting it on time. It slipped my mind and I wanted to apologize. It's not like me to be late with things.
Gorgeous! Patty I love it! Thanks so much for playing along with my challenge. No worries about being tardy. No detention, or excuse notes needed! giggle

I want to take some time today and visit everyone's blog. I have to make cupcakes for my son's class for his birthday tomorrow so inbetween my baking I can visit. My son wants those ice cream cone cupcakes and they are always so fun to make. I'll have to post a pic when I'm done with them. Have a great day everyone!
Good morning ladies. Patty I would love to learn how to do cupcakes in a ice cream cone. Let me know please, it sounds really fun to take to school for my son's birthday. Barb, so sorry for you, I HATE GOING TO THE DENTIST!!!.

I'm decoration the ice cream cone cupcakes right now. I'll be sure to let you know (I'll post on my blog) how I made them. They are really easy and the kids love them.
Good Morning Ladies--hope you are having a great start to the weekend Friday!
Tomorrow I am heading to Indy for the National AD Convention--yes, I am retired, but I am still pretty active in the national association. My friend Vickie, another AD from the state, is driving over after school to stay overnight and we will head out around 8:00 tomorrow morning. It is about a five hour drive and I have a meeting at 3:00. I hope to be able to check into the hotel before my meeting as I am parking in a lot away from the hotel so I do not have to pay their incredibly stupid price for parking. I also have planned our Buca night out on Sunday after the Packer game, so there will also be some fun and laughs! I will be back late Wednesday, but I am taking my laptop along to check in with my SCS friends!
good morning! Today's a vaca day for me so I'm just now rolling out of bed....uh...maybe. Enjo you your day ladies!

Hi ladies, good morning. Barb have a safe and fun trip. I'm going to make some cards and enjoy this starting weekend!!!. I want to have some time this weekend to buy the TREEEEE. I'll make the time... can't be the 9th and I don't have my tree up yet :(.
Carolina- I plan to get our tree today also. Have fun!
Tracie - I hope you enjoyed your day off and better yet a nice long weekend!
I hope to find some time to create this weekend, but I am not sure. We have a family Christmas Sunday and I have to get the tree up and decorated, finish a few last shopping items and make some cookies. So I hope while my hubby sleeps no Sunday I will have a little bit of relaxation time!
Checking in from the hotel in Indy--it was a great drive here this morning and I am all checked it, went to my meeting, got registered and went through the exhibit hall. Not sure what the plans are tonight, but I am ready!
Hello, just checking in! I finally got the tree up and decorated. One Christmas celebration with extended family completed today. We had a nice time relaxing and catching up. I love seeing all the kids, they are so much fun. My husband is one of them =0).
Just curious if anyone has any fun holiday traditions?
My family gets together and has appetizers & snacks for dinner. For my husband's family we all bring a pizza to share. It allows more time for us to relax and enjoy the company. We are not slaves in the kitchen. It's a lot of fun.
Melina & Lela, I am glad you enjoyed your happy mail!
Athina, we just finished decorating the tree as well. Now I feel that my house is starting the Holiday Season. The kids Christmas program at church was today so another thing that is done, since I am one of the Sunday School teacher it was a lot of work and practices every weekend so now I'm more relax. This week will be only dedicate for Christmas shopping and getting ready for my final exam at Tae Kwon Do. I'm testing for my black belt next Saturday. I've been waiting for this day for three years and I'm really nervous. I'll post pictures next week... If I made it . Nothing to do with cards or scrapbooking but something I'm proud of. Hope you had a wonderful weekend and see you all tomorrow. Have a great night.
Good Morning Ladies--it is a great, sunny morning in Indy! There was a awesome win by the Packers yesterday and I had a fun time with my Wisconsin buddies. I changed our reservation at Buca's to tonight as we had food served in the hospitality room during the Packer game and luckily the Pope's Table was open tonight. We have an awards luncheon today and I have a couple of meetings, but then I am going to do some Christmas shopping as there is a mall two blocks away. Everything is connected by skywalks, so we never have to even walk outside.
Two weeks and it's Christmas!!
I saw so many nice Xmas cards! You ladies are great!
I also made some, and updated two yesterday. Quite a challenge to me.
Athina, like your card! so surprised! Thanks~
Everyone bring a pizza is a good way to enjoy the holiday! I like that idea. My friend's party is similar to yours. The only thing different is can't repeat the same dish. To have more fun, we add some restriction. For example, this year we have western food only.
Good Morning everyone. Happy Tuesday. I will visit everyone's blogs later today and hopefully update mine with the one card I was able to complete for VSN this weekend. I always think I will have time to complete more of the challenges but I never do. I did one and I may complete others even though it is past the upload deadline for prizes.
I am back home in Wisconsin--sure feels good! Drive was OK and it rained the entire time--sure glad it was not snow. Slow going through Chicago, but we made decent time. I am doing wash and getting caught up on mail and newspapers as well as emails. I also hope to write out my Christmas cards this afternoon. We have church tonight and then a choir party afterward.

I forgot to come back and post when I had a photo of my cupcakes uploaded, but I remembered now. Here are my cupcakes. I should have take a few more photos, but you get the idea:
Carolina, you will do great with your test on Saturday! Just take a deep breath and remember you can do it!
Barb, glad you are back home safely.
Roro, I like your idea of adding a restriction to your dish choice. That could get interesting!
Tracie, Thanks for the card! What a wonderful surprise!
I am getting the house ready for my family this weekend! I have a lunch buddy party tomorrow at work (we mentor a child from 3rd-6th grade, at Christmas they come to see what we do at work). Then a carry in at work on Friday. So a busy rest of the week for me.
Hi everyone!! It's been a few days since I popped in. I've been so busy. Luckily, it seems like I'm ahead of the game...Christmas cards are out, 97% of my shopping is done, most of my Christmas projects are done and I've started my wrapping. But, there's still so much to do, work is really busy and it seems like I come home at night and sit in a stupor for a couple hours until my energy comes back and my butt gets moving. No time to accomplish anything!!!!!
I did do a quick blog tour on the weekend (or was it earlier this week?) and will visit again soon. I'm trying to keep my blog updated, but it just isn't the priority right now. :(
