Hi ladies. Just checking in and say hello. I'm rushing to start a card for my son. His birthday is tomorrow and I was so busy this days that I didn't post anything for a while and my blog is getting slow. Although I gain two more followers YAYYY!!!. Hope you have a wonderful friday!!!
Just checking in. The bazar went really well today. I was very happy to come home with very little!!! I do have a few orders to do this weekend. That is after I put my room back together. I tore it all apart to rearrange it and have not gotten it back together. I hope to get that done tonight.
Okay, crafting tip of the day. Even though you THINK you know what a challenge entails, it's a pretty good idea to go back and reread the instructions before you create. Especially if it's been a few weeks since you last read it.
I boo-booed my challenge card, Melina. :oops: But I'm not changing it. First of all, I like it. Second, I'm not sure I have time to make another. Thirdly, I like it.
You'll see my boo-boo on Monday, as it's pretty obvious and I mentioned it in my post.
I'll be more careful to reread the challenge next time. Silly me!
I finally got my room done last night and completed my challenge this morning. I found the perfect stamp in my collection!! I am excited to see what everyone has come up with. Hoping to get back on track with the blog this week.
Hubby is in MO this weekend, so I have the whole day to myself to play!!! I will likely get Christmas cards ready so that is out of the way. I think I have enough done (I hope). We start our Christmas celebrations with family next weekend and we have 1 or 2 every weekend thru New Year's Day. My husband has a lot of extended family.
How is everyone's shopping going? I went out yesterday for a bit and it was so busy, I got frustrated and came home. I may be doing online this year, as you could not walk down any isle and it was not even the toy isles. Too much stress for me.

The party was a great time last night--we had around 20 people here, who also helped to cheer the Badgers onto a victory (though a bit closer than most of us had hoped!)
We are going over to our friend's house to watch the Packer game this afternoon--she is the one with the broken foot who also put her dog down a bit ago. Well--we are also going to meet Maggie Mae, her new golden puppy!
I need to take a picture of my card today and write up the post. Can't wait to see everyone's cards.
I'm SO hoping that "business" life slows down some so I can do a little more stamping/scrapping... I try however not too complain too much about it though because the day job pays for all the fun things I want to do crafting :rolleyes: sigh....

Good Morning. Happy Monday Morning from a snowy Wisconsin--we just got a dusting this morning and I am sure it will be gone soon, but it is pretty right now.

I'll see if Heather can get me the January challenge by the 17th of this month. That will give another few days to get our January 5th creation made.
Whoops sorry - I thought we were supposed to have the cards posted on the 22nd! My bad...I misunderstood. No pressure - If I get it by the 22nd, I should be fine for the 5th!

So fun! I am looking forward to the next one! I may have to start visiting the challenge board here to participate in some of those. It will help me grow! Thanks Melina for getting us started.

Good Morning--winter is here finally as it is brisk out today--no snow in the forecast for awhile though.
This morning, I am off to the Post Office to mail a swap and then a bit of shopping. I am also going to stop at the local Goodwill store as Donald Driver, one of the great Green Bay Packers, is going to be signing his newest children's book. I hope we are able to purchase more than one as I would love to get a couple for Christmas presents.
Then, I do need to work on a couple of swaps that are due-due-due!

Good morning! I have a card class tonight. I always look forward to these but then when I start cutting all the pieces and getting everything together, I wonder why I do them?! It's a lot of work but I know the ladies like the classes so...."a cutting I will do"!

Oh my goodness I totally forgot about our challenge. I will be definitely post my card tonight. I'm so sorry. Things have just been crazy with me lately. Holidays are always difficult for me with my side of the family and this year is no different. I told my husband that next year we should consider going away for the holidays.
