Our team, the Alabama Crimson Tide (college football), won the National championship game last night! They beat LSU 21-0! Wooooo! Whoooooo! We are college football fans around here. I just had to celebrate a little more here on SCS! hahahaha
Thank you Patty, I can't wait to see the catalog!!!. I'm glad Melina that the team won. We are a basketball/soccer family and of course Tae Kwon Do too, but we don't watch that on TV. I hope you have a fantastic day!!!
Good Morning--heading to the stamp room. I hope to get inky a bit today, but my first project is to change the storage systerm for my nesties and other dies. Right now they are in CD cases and some still in their boxes. I found a thread on SCS a bit ago Here about storing them in a Creative Memories Photo Box with the nesties on one of the dividers that has a magnetic sheet on it. The divider has a tab for me to use my handy labeler for the name. I can't wait to get them all in one place and see exactly which ones I have (and hope I do not find duplicates..............................)
I also have stamp club tonight and it will be good to see everyone as we did not meet in December. And, will be fun to play with some of the new items that I am sure Nancy will have for our projects.

Scrapbook Layouts: April: 0/4
Good Morning--the weather here in SE Wisconsin is changing to winter as we have a winter storm heading our way this morning. It is to snow for about 24 hours, but it is to be light and fluffy and we are to get around 6 inches.
Stamp Club was fun last night--we saw many of the items from the mini catalog and inked up two new stamps-one from the mini and one from SAB--to make two cute cards. We all decided to have Nancy hold our orders until SAB starts, so we can get the free stuff too.
I did pretty good yesterday organizing my nesties--I ran out of CM dividers, so I placed an order for more and they already have shipped. I also made a challenge card yesterday and will head down to work on a swap in a bit. I hope you too have a productive day!
It's snowing pretty good here but it's to be expected in January. Hope it doesn't get too deep since DH has the suv. I'm off to finish off a class I've been working on :-)
Good morning ladies!!!. Barb I wish I could have all that fun time crafting. Sometimes I feel like a taxi driver with my kids LOL!!!, but I did a couple of cards yesterday so I can't complain, although if i don't clean the bathrooms today, trees are going to start growing there LOL!!!. When I have free time at home I try to keep up with challenges and scrapbooks, and lately I've been forgotten the house a little bit :(, but my husband is happy that I'm busy doing something that I enjoy that much, he knows that the house chores can be a bit of a boring routine. I love being in the house but.... CRAFTING!!!. Ok, I hope you all have a very happy and blessed day!!!

I got 2 scrap pages and a card done today. That's was all while babysitting my 2 year old niece, doing homeschool with my 7 year old and getting the floors swept! *giggle* I know, I look at all that and wonder how I did it myself
It is snowing pretty good here now--we probably have 3 inches and it is starting to blow quite a bit. Just in time for the drive home. There are saying a couple of more inches tonight, but stopping early in the morning. The plow just went by, but our driveway has not been plowed yet--I think Jeff will wait until it stops snowing.
Whoo hooo - only 1 more day to go before my 3 day weekend - Thank you Jesus!

Good Morning--the snow has pretty much stopped, but we are to get flurries for the next few days. We got a total of six inches and it is the light, fluffy snow! We are having a dozen or so friends over tonight for a "game night". I am also headed to meet roomie for lunch and pick up a cheesecake as my friend Claudia has a birthday tomorrow, so we will celebrate tonight--one of our friends is bringing homemade peppermint ice cream--Yum!

Good Morning Ladies! Welcome to the weekend! It looks like several of us are getting that white stuff outside. I would say we have about 2 inches. I have to drop my car off this morning for some work and then head to the grocery. Not sure what we will do after that. Tomorrow I am headed to my aunts to scrapbook. I am finding that I am not as interested in scrapbooking now that I have found stamping and card making. But I really need to get it in gear. I give my dad a scrapbook of the year every Father's Day. Guess what... I have not even started. Yikes!
Well, I need to get stuff packed up for tomorrow! I hope everyone stays warm and has a fantastic weekend!
Athina, I feel the same way about scrapbooking. But, it is my first love in crafting, it's the first thing I started doing. So, I must get caught up. I want my children to have something of mine they "want" to keep

Our dusting of snow yesterday is long gone. The cold temps are sticking around though. Great weather to stay in and get inky!
Good morning ladies!!!. SNOW here in BC as well... I thought the winter would never come. My son and husband went to another basketball game and I have a kid's birthday this afternoon kind of far from here, so I can't craft today either. I LOVE scrapbooking for the same reason... want to give my kids great memories, but lately I'm getting more and more behind because of cards and challenges!!!. I have to keep up with it. I made one last week and I'm determined to finish my goals for this year. I hope you all have a very happy snowy, wintery day!!!

I actually had a very productive "crafty" weekend ... although it does help the MOJO to be somewhat snowed in... LOL! Today it was just really cold out ... no additional white stuff.
I finished up some altered projects, got cards made to send out this week and even finished some scrap pages. As far as scrappin' and stampin', I find I go in cycles or modes. Sometimes I'll be in the mood to scrap and do just a card and then all of a sudden it will hit and I'll do cards/stampin' for awhile and have no MOJO for scrappin'... I've tried to figure it out but haven't yet so I just go with the flow, LOL! This month it seems to be a scrappy month so I'm getting pages done while the MOJO is in house...

I just bought on ebay (Simon says) a lovely stamp, great for a card for my husband. I would love to use it on our challenge, but I don't know if it is going to be here on time. I hope it will. Just in case I wait till the due date YaYYYY!!!. I had a very busy day. Church in the morning and "laundry, laundry and more laundry during the whole day"!!!. I couldn't even get near my scrap space today :(. I hope you had a great day and a very blessed night!!!
Good Morning everyone. I spent the weekend at a soccer tournament for my oldest daughter. We will probably spend our bonus day off by going shopping. She has some gift cards from Christmas that are burning a hole in her pocket.
Good Morning--it is snowing and blowing here today. We are to get only 2-3 inches and it is pretty outside, if you ignore the wind.....................
I am heading to Madison today--a LSS is closing the end of the month and everything is 60% off this week. Plus, today their fixtures are going on sale, so I am going to check it out. Also a stop at Archivers is in the plan. Plus, I am meeting Laura Jean, a fellow SCS'er for lunch. The roads should be OK.
Change of plans--it is snowing harder and very, very windy. So, I am staying home and heading to Madison tomorrow. We are not to get that much snow, but lots and lots of blowing. So, off to the craft room!

I don't have much planned for today. Just when I thought my kids were getting better (it seems as though someone here is always sick), my older daughter ended up at the doctors yesterday. It turns out that she has strep throat. Poor kid is in so much pain and she was even crying. She's doing much better today, but she is home from school again.

Well, winter has arrived. We got snow on Sunday, so DH had to head out and get everything shovelled. I had a great excuse to stay indoors, of course!
Then, early this week the temps have dropped...lower, and lower....and lower. We're currently at -29C (-18F). Adjusted for the windchill, we're at -39C (-39F). It was in the 40's last night, for sure!
Here, we get use to it. Buses have trouble running, but most of the schools are open. I took the bus this morning, but have to make sure I'm bundled up nice, as the skin can get frostbite pretty quickly!
Heather, I lived in Edmonton for five years, I know what you are talking about... but the snow just arrived???? That's late for Edmonton, really late. I miss Edmonton but not the winter, it is sooo long, although is really sunny and here in BC you can get kind of depress with so many grey and rainy days!!! It feels like Edmonton today, we are covered in snow, but get this: it is only -6 and the schools are closed!!!. We don't know how to handle the snow here as much as in Edmonton ;). I hope you are all having a great day!!!
