My secret for the past two weeks is that my darling breech baby was scheduled for a c-section this morning.
So, at 9:23 am, DH and I welcomed the most adorable 8lb, 3oz baby girl into this world!
Claire Sharon is as pretty as a picture and twice as sweet! So far, she's a good sleeper and hasn't been too fussy. We hope this continues!!
I'll post a picture when I can, but will remain here in hospital for a few days. After that, it's anyone's guess how much crafty time I'll have and when, but I will try to return as soon as I can (as it is, I'm posting this on my blackberry with Claire snuggled asleep in my arms).
I'm doing good, considering. Surgery was uneventful and so far recovery is progressing as it should. I'm trying not to rush things, to make sure I don't overdo it.

That's how much our first child weighed, 8lb 3 oz. I'm not gonna tell you how much our second child weighed.......

Hi Carolina, yes, I'm trying out for the CAS Design team. This makes oooooo I think the 5 time. I usually make it to the semi finals. It's okay though. I'm doing it for fun, but keeping my fingers crossed I make it to the finals this time and picked as one of the 5! We should know from round 1 tonight or in the morning who makes it to the next challenge.

Congratulations to you and your husband!!! I can't wait to see some photos. Please take it easy and don't over do it. I had 2 c-sections and I know recovery takes time. Recovery for my first c-section was quicker and easier for me (my second was a little harder. I think because I had 2 other kids to take care of and I didn't rest like the dr. told me to).
Hey Patty, you should check out The Paper Players Blog. They are looking for design team and some of those Gals are SU Demos. I like to play on their challenges. Sometimes it's color, other times technique or theme, sketches. Fun place to participate I don't think you have much time though...I think you have to apply by Saturday or Sunday this week?

Running around as usual on my "errands" Friday! with haircuts for me and DD squeezed in too. Oh yeah, and a school banquet tonight. I'm tired already.

Is anyone else having problems reading the new blogger word verifications? It's two squiggly words now (they recently did a change to 2). I'm having to re do 2 and 3 times. UGH!
I just have the comment authorization/monitoring on mine. That way if there is spam I can delete them before I click them to post. If any of you are having issues, this may be an option for you.

Someone here on splitcoast emailed me to tell me about the problem she was having leaving a comment on my blog. It was a problem with the word verifications so I took that off of my blog. Now I just approve each comment, but I'm getting a ton of spam. I was told that it will eventually stop because blogger is pretty good about recognizing the spam.
Then just today when I was checking out the DT call for the Paper Players blog I found this post about the word verification problems:
Good morning ladies--we are back in Phoenix. What a great "short" visit with Judy and then a nice lunch and tour of the area with my brother and SIL. Notnsurebwhat we are doing today, but I do know that the plans will include a stop at a couple of LSS! Roomy is golfing tomorrow morning, so I also get to do some exploring and maybe some shopping then. I will check in then.

I agree with you Melina those words verification are a pain. I don't have any at my blog and I'm not receiving any spams yet. I'm happy...my mom is coming tomorrow from South America to stay with me for at least six months!!!. We are very close. The only thing is that with all this new groups here at SCS, challenges, DTs and so on she is worry that I'm not going to pay attention to her. It is a matter of organization I guess!!!. I don't work and I'm home most of the time so I looked for all this things and now I'm too busy...LOL!!!. She needs to help me though with TONS of old pictures and to make scrapbooks with them, that will be fun.

Tonight no TKDo, my little one has his first playdate after school, my oldest one is in the States, I have a doctor's appointment and PIZZA NIGHT WITH A MOVIE TONIGHT!!!. I had three C-Sections. Two in Argentina in one in Canada. The Canada one was AWESOME!!!. No more babies for me though :(. But I did great in the three of them. The ONLY problem I had after them was a horrible constipation, but that was it. That is not too bad I guess.

My sister made me cry when she was having her first baby and asked me to be in the room! I got to see her have her first. It was a wonderful experience.
Happy Saturday! Today's my first day of "rest" thus week...boys games, prepping for next weeks bday, and grocery shopping. Tonight i hope to work on some projects and update my blog. I got a smartphone at walmart the other day...its been helping me with my crazy life lately.

Good Morning from Glendale, AZ. We were up very early--dropped roomie off at 7:00 for their golfing and I headed here as there is a LSS to visit. I am in a cute coffee shop, checking in and waiting for the store to open.
The party for Aunt Phylis is tonight and should be a fun time. We will go to church tomorrow morning and then head to the airport. Out flight is at 1:30.

Hello ladies!!!. I just finished cleaning the house, my mom will be here in a couple of hours. Now I'm just reading posts and having a coffee but just for a little while, I have to continue with my chores :(. I would love to craft today but I'm going to be really busy catching up with my mom and having some goodies that she is bringing to us from my country . I can't wait for tomorrow for my oldest son to come back!!!, I know... I better get use to the idea of them not being around all the time :(.

It has been a pretty lazy day here. I did get to work on my challenge for the 5th. I am really liking it. But I need a little something and I need to dig a bit more in my room to find it.

Good Morning from the last day in Arizona............................. It is to be in the 80's here and we are headed home to temps in the 30's and I think a couple of inches of snow that fell late in the week! We tossed a snow shovel into the Pilot just in case we got some snow while we were gone--I think we might need it if there is a snowpile plowed behind our car.
The party was very nice last night--around 80 some people were there and they had a nice DJ with Karaoke--I think Aunt Phylis was so happy.............

Good Morning--It is time to get crafting after a week of sunshine and warm weather in Arizona! I need to get some swaps done and postal this week as well as a couple of challenges are waiting for me--including one due to be posted tomorrow! Temps in Wisconsin today are to be in the 30's, so that is a bit of a change from the 70's all last week on vacation--I guess it is easier to be in the craft room then!
Good Morning all! I was looking at the CAS challenge for today and boy, it's at tough one! It's a color challenge to only use white and rich razzleberry. I might give it a try, but I'm stumped already....LOL
Just checking in to say hi from not so sunny Southern California. It is supposed to rain today. Traffic will probably be terrible. Rain to us is like a blizzard to most people. We don't know what to do with ourselves. I will try to blog hop later this evening.

I have been traveling for work since last Wednesday & won't be home until Friday of this week. I did get to see my niece who is now 2 months old and oh what a sweetie she is!
