Well off i go back to work, dd1 came home with a terrible fever of 98.5 LOL and the dd2 and dd3 refuse to nap along with dd4 so it is a fun afternoon here!!
Glad you got the card. Hope DD1 is better soon! The nurses will be more stricter with fevers in school because of swine flu...
Yikes! I sure don't miss those days when the kiddos were in elem school and we would get *those* letters from the nurse about a 'child in your child's class...'. I went out and bought the special shampoo just in case (and unfortunately did have to use it once!)
I sure don't miss them either! My son came home from daycare with them and then passed them on to his sister!! Ughhh!!! Glad those days are over!
I'm FINALLY able to tell my exciting news! Well, it's exciting for ME, anyway!!! I was selected to be one of Bombshell Stamps' Pin-Up Girls for their Design Team!!! I am Ms. November!!! Yep it's still on. My Doc called and said the biop came back within the normal range but she still wants to do the surgery ASAP. So yep still on I'm not looking forward to the surgery but I can't handle this problem anymore it's making me crazy. Not having a period anymore is just a huge +!

I have a fun filled day planned....first we go to the pre-school ice cream social, then maybe teh fruit market on the way home, and then I will spend my afternoon into the evening sorting through bin after bin after bin of clothes. Purple heart is coming tomorrow so I have to figure out what to donate and what to put in the consignment sale in the spring, or even what we can give to friends. Who needs baby clothes sizes 0-18 months?

Mom just did the Purple Heart donation thing. We went thru lots of stuff to donate from my grandmom's house.
Amanda, that is wonderful news! And, yes even though you have to go through the surgery you will be glad you did in the end! I sure haven't missed having a period for the last 20+ years!
Amanda, I know that had to be like waiting to breath. Now, just get the surgery behind you and life will be smiling.
Mary! After seeing that card, they sure missed the mark in not making you a DT member but congrats! They will realize quickly how valuable you are to them. They have some cute items.
A couple of days and we will be stampin! Ask me if I am ready and looking forward to it, oh yeah. It will be fun to get together with so many friends and do the thing that keeps us all smiling, just playin!

Hey Jane, are you going to be affected by the state furloughs? We just got word from our higher ups that it's a done deal, the plan was approved by the Board of Public Works today (which didn't surprise me at all). As it stands right now I have to take 8 furlough days which really sucks but I guess it's better than not having a job at all!
We hae to wait for the University to make their decisions. I am only a part-timer so the question would be if I get my position cut, which is possible. See, now that I know you earn a bundle......(8 days is with the higher up muckety mucks salaries....)I will just come stamp at your house!
Truth is, we just don't know yet. If they do the furlough/shut downs around holidays, it makes good sense. And you are totally correct, it beats losing the job. These are some scary times.

Geeee I can't wait for Sat! I'm so looking forward to a day of stamping and no kids. Wish me luck tomorrow is Evan's first day of school! I'm not sure his teacher and I are going to see eye to eye. Should be a fun year!

Good luck with the teacher...ali is never getting in preschool! Argh..someone on cafe moms walked right in and there kid was enrolled today!!!! I am apparently #10 in the cat 4 section which is odd since I was there super early (reg started at like 8 and i was there 830)
Okay just when i swore I wouldnt order from artful again they come out with a chihuahua in a margarita glass who can resist that??? not me!!!!
Michelle I received your super cute card too --- spent 10 minutes pulling off the ribbon to open it to realize I did not have to pull it off to open then spent 20 minutes putting ribbon back on like you had it LOL Oh yes I am having one of those days!!!
