Ok ladies, I've given some thought to what our next challenge card should be and I decided that since our second favorite activity is eating, how appropriate that we should create a card with a food item!
So my challenge to you is to use a food image on your card! You have until next Sunday (8/30) at midnight to create your card and post it here for everyone to see. Once all the cards are posted you will then cast your votes up until 7 p.m. on Monday (8/31). You may vote for two cards but you can only vote for your own card once. I'll tally the votes and announce the winner on Monday evening!

Jeaneen, you are really quite the brat.......I want my own clams :( Stacy, HBD and many more. Kathi, what a cool challenge and I think I already know what I want to make. Its is too hot out there. Been helping our neighbor with clean up while she has some trees removed. DH wants the wood for our smoker. Yumm I see ribs in the future!

Okay ladies, I'm going to order some red tape and die cuts from texasjodylynn this coming week if any of you would like to add on to the order to save on shipping let me know what you want.
Off to do a 10 minute tidy and do my card for the swap.
ACK!! I can't come up with a card for the SBS next Saturday!!! I had an idea, didn't like that, came up with another idea, didn't like that, either...I stare at my stamp sets and can't figure out what I want to do!! Then I saw Kathi's fabulous card and now I'm starting to panic! Hopefully I work well under pressure!!
Mary, take a deep breath, pick a layout, then go with it! If you need some supplies, I will be glad to help. If you need inspiration, come stare at my stamp sets.........it doesn't help me much but it may work better on you.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!!! I am out for lunch due to buddy driving in that day..not 100% sure when she will arrive and I will probably be cleaning LOL Tracy - let me check with mom she may want some red tape

Thanks for the offer, Jane, and Loretta, too, for offering to help! I FINALLY decided on a card!! Whew!! When I picked up this particular stamp set it just 'clicked'. Just need to cut paper and I'll be ready for Saturday. Bought the sodas and the ham today and will just need to bake the ham Friday night. I'm really looking forward to it...now that I have a card!! :rolleyes:
Dummy me didn't calculate very well when I was figuring how much of each color cardstock I would need for the swap next Saturday and I ran out of Not Quite Navy cardstock. I'm in dire need of 3 sheets! If anyone has 3 that they'd be willing to sell me I would be forever grateful! I can make arrangements to pick them up anytime this week after work.

I'm glad it all came together for you! It sure is stressful sometimes trying to come up with a card! Lately I just look for a sketch that I like and plan my card around that, of course you still have to decide what stamps and colors but the hardest part for me is the layout so thank goodness there are lots of sketches out there to choose from!

Whew, I've gotten my card sample made and cut all my papers. I just need to make up the kits and put all my supplies in my shoebox and I'm ready! It's a simple card. I hope it's okay...once I got it made I'm not totally thrilled with it, but...it is what it is...

DH got stuck here in Balto Friday night trying to fly to Ohio, then finally got to take off and got in at 12:30. You were ships passing in the night Cherie.
We had a great time. Kerri LOVED chocolate cake. The girls loved hanging out with their cousins. They survived their first night of tent camping and loved it, even though it was raining, they never knew it.
