I thought that I would say hi to everyone as I have been busy making greeing cards for family in England and getting things organise for christmas next week.
I hope everyone is having a good day whatever they are doing
Just a little FYI. I have access to a Hero Arts account. So if any of you are looking for stuff let me know. I can order from them. I am trying to keep it open as long as I can. I just have to place a order every 6 or so months. The new catty is coming out. I just preordered so stuff for me and a catty. Alot of pretty stamps. I will place some pics on my blog when I get a chance. This is only for my blog group members since I am not a retailer any more.
I know my blog is starting to collect dust due to my inactivity, but I made my rounds yesterday on everyone's blog. It's been quite hectic as my husband decided to repaint our house in the middle of winter and of course with the holiday madness upon us.
But, speaking of Hero Arts, I received quite a pleasant surprise this morning and just wanted to share my happy news with you all.
I know my blog is starting to collect dust due to my inactivity, but I made my rounds yesterday on everyone's blog. It's been quite hectic as my husband decided to repaint our house in the middle of winter and of course with the holiday madness upon us.
But, speaking of Hero Arts, I received quite a pleasant surprise this morning and just wanted to share my happy news with you all.

Just letting you know that I won't be around that much as we are organising our house to be painted so everything is kind of upside down at the moment so when everything is back to normal I will be back on making my cards and my jewellery
Good Afternoon ladies, just a couple of quick questions. Was there a challenge for Dec. 30, and who will take Conni's place? Her turn to host a challenge is Jan. 14-which is next.
Melyssa was to do the Dec. 30th challenge. I don't think she hosted anything, but if she wants she can do the challenge that Conni was schedule to do. If she does not just skip to the next challenge date in line.It will give everyone a couple of weeks to recoupe and maybe give them a chance to get ahead if they like.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am having some computer issues. I can post on my husbands computer, but all the camera stuff is on mine, so I can't post pictures on my blog. Plus, he works from home and is on his computer a lot. I will try to get around to everyone's blog as soon as I can.

I have not been in a very creative mood since Christmas. I have made a promise to myself I would create something today after work. We will see if I can muster up some creativity. How is everyone?
Good morning ladies, hope everyone is good. I just wanted to let you know that my computer is down again and in the shop. I have been working on things, but won't be able to post until later.
well thought that I would post an update here from my Friday dr. appt. I have several tumors on my pancreas, the largest one is being tested again this upcoming Friday, and then I'll undergo surgery in the near future. Don't know if there is cancer at this point - that is one of the reasons for the further test this week. I'm having a PET scan.
so I may be out of commission again for a while depending upon surgery and the info discovered. Thought that I would let all of you know in case I disappear again. But until then I'll try to keep up with my 'rounds' of your wonderful blogs! and keep mine updated as well!

Jen I'm so sorry you're having these issues, you are in my thoughts and prayers - please continue to keep us updated.

Hi Blogg Friends-I was just making my rounds and I noticed that on some blogs you can scroll right down and see the last few posts or more and it's great because if you haven't been blog hopping for a few days and the Author has posted a few times since you last visit you can check out everything since your last visit before moving on. Now I am far from blog savvy and I invite someone to tell me what my blog does when they visit-but I think when I set my blog up I choose to show the last so many posts-I think it was like 10 or 30 or something-I would suggest that if you post often-you might want your blog set up this way-even you post weekly to show the last 4 posts would be awesome so that if someone misses a week it's easy for them to go back and see what you did-it is also helping me to get to know you all and to compare your projects to one and another and say oh yeah I remember that-and now she did this oh..it makes the visit more meaningful.. Just thought to share with you all! So here is a little challenge go to someone else's blog and visit your blog by clicking on the link on their page and see what they see when they visit you! Just checking in and seeing how everything is going? I know someone had a question re: Challenges. I am not sure what happened, but I think Anne was going to post and get us back on track.
Also I wanted to check and make sure that everyone is still interested in doing the group. I know from time to time we have a change in our schedules that does not allow us to do the little extras that we enjoy. If you think you are unable to still be involoved in the group please let us know. We understand!
I am still in! I am caught back up since my computer crash. I know I missed commenting and posting (and I think a challenge) during those couple of weeks. I am still having to share with my husband since we haven't replaced mine.
I am in. I have been struggling to find time and my creative juice. bear with me ladies. I vow to make something today!!!! Especially since I am up early and it is Saturday. What is up with that? I couldnt sleep anymore so I just got up. blah......I did do rounds yesterday and I am off to find the newest challenge. Have a good one crafters!
Hi Ladies-
I know my challenge isn't due until the eleventh however I am going to post early since there isn't a challenge going and since I'm going to make it a big challenge and it may take some two weeks----scared?
I'm challenging everyone to an anti-hoarding card feast. You must pick one piece of double sided paper that you have and are afraid to cut into because you feel it's just too beautiful to slice into. You must slice it into 4 inch wide strips and then into 5.25 inch panels for card fronts-you will have some left over 4x1.5 inch strips. From here you will have six panels to put on card fronts-create six unique cards-you can cut down the dsp panels any way you like or use them whole-but you must first cut up the entire piece, and all six cards have to have some of that paper. When you are done your cards-post them with a story about why you were hoarding be as creative in your story as you like-or as truthful-it's up to you -but make it fun and let go of the past-hoarding may not be a crime but it is a creativity killer-it's okay-we'll all do it together! I have no sample yet because as you may have guessed I am a serial hoarder and this challenge will be.... well..... a challenge for me-so, I'll appreciate an kind words of encouragement from you all. (quite little sob) as in addition to the paper I will be challenging myself to use the sticky cuts and buttons and brads I've been hoarding-and If I'm feeling safe enough I might even--use some chipboard I've been saving for a rainy day. OH NO, not the paper i've been hoarding!!! haha, this could be painful, but sounds like fun. And yes it's going to take at least me awhile to do this. I'm getting anxious just thinking about it!!! Ladies, I must apologize for not being more involved, we've been having a lot of health issues with my MIL, so i've been extremely busy, and exhausted, and stressed. My SIL is here now to help out, so hopefully I'll get a little more time for my fun stuff.
O.K., I'm already hyperventilating - cut into my beautiful paper and then use it all?????? Hopefully I have several pieces of that beautiful paper and if I don't, guess who's getting all six of those cards - ME!!! LOL

I'm still in the group as well. I haven't felt the "creative juices" flowing but, I am trying. I feel like I have family with this group since we were the second group started and have managed to last this long. I'm glad. I hope we can continue it going. I am in another group as well but, this will always be my first one KWIM?
