Hi jennifer! sorry to hear your still trying to heal up. I HATE being sore. :( I'm headed to the doctors myself on wednesday to see what's up with my left elbow. It's been hurting something fierce the last month and I'm tired of suffering with it. I hope you get to feeling better real soon. *hugs* Hope you can get some stamping done today I like looking at your creations. ;)
Well, I went to the doctor's today and found out I have epicondylitis more commonly known as tennis elbow ...:rolleyes: So, I'm sitting here typing with one hand while wearing a sling on my other. I've been putting ice to it and the doctor is gonna start me on an anti-inflammatory. In addition, once it starts healing,
I'll need to start exercises for it. What a pain! and if this doesn't help, I'll have to go to an ortho doctor to have it injected. :???: I'll do whatever just so I can get out of this pain.
Sue, that's not fun at all! I spent several months earlier in the year in a brace after falling and hurting my wrist. Hopefully you will get lots of relief from the injection.
it is cold and snowy here - but there is nothing unusual about that. I acutally made it out of my house for the first time since July yesterday (for something other than drs. visits or trips to pick up RX). I have been sufferring with seizures since mid July and can't leave my house, so when my family was invited to friends for Thanksgiving, I was hope, hope, hoping that I would be able to attend. Well, I actually made it! yippppeeeeee! I wasn't able to go to the movies with my family which is our annual holiday tradition, but I did stay at our friends' house for several hours with no episodes and was able to help in the kitchen. It was truly wonderful to feel like a functioning human again!!! :p Of course I've spent the day in bed today sleeping & recuperating, but it was soooooo worth it!
just had to post my big 'praise God' moment! now you see why I am thrilled to be able to stamp. the last time this happened several years ago, I wasn't able to do much.
okay, enough blabbering....... hope all of you are well!

Good morning ladies - hope you all had a good Thanksgiving. I just want to say I'm sorry for not getting around to all of you - Life has taken a turn and I have so much going on it's hard to get around to everyone - I truly do try - but unfortunately it doesn't always happen. Last week we had family most of the week and December is looking the same.

Paula, I noticed you use blogspot. Have you checked out this site. They have great tutorials for blogspot users.

I wanted to post here real quick to apologize for my silence these past few days. I've been in a great deal of pain and unable to move around more than absolutely necessary. have spent the time in bed for the most part. am heading to a specialist tomorrow. will try to get a chance to catch up on my postings in a few days. so sorry to have been out of pocket, but wanted to try to explain my absence.

It's crazy busy at my house! Just got home from an all day craft event at my church. We started at 9 this morning and left at 10 tonight. I did get a lot accomplished but I am beat.

It was long, but so much fun. I was the organizer so I was there all day, we had different people dropping in and leaving throughout the day. There were two other women that were there almost as lond as I was. I got a lot of my Chritmas cards done though. Our church has boxes set up in the lobby that we can send cards to other members and not have to worry about postage. Since I was at chuch, I brough envelopes and got a lot of mine done, signed, addressed and sorted into the card boxes. One giant thing off my to-do list.
That's great gina! with postal rates going up too it's nice you could do it that way. I have some cards made and I'm planning on mailing my first one today.

I have been soooo busy!!! I am hosting a Christmas Crafts night at my house tomorrow night and I am also doing a craft fair this Saturday. After this week I am not overbooking myself and I hope to do the challenges...I am really behind (: Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!!!
I have been busy too. And I have so many things on my to do list. I need an assistant. LOL
I can totally relate. I'm afraid I haven't been doing very well with my blogger group requirements. I apologize. Things should slow down soon, although my daughter is getting married in March and has asked me to make her invites and programs, so it may stay busy for a while longer. I will try to do better!

No, I haven't. I hope she's alright as well. I think the last time she posted, she said she was having a lot of pain from when she fell.
It's hard for our group right now to keep up with the holidays being here. I know..I have been soooooooooooooo tired after work when I get home that I have had no motivation to make cards. I came home today and just passed out. I was so tired and my allergies have just been going haywire. :rolleyes: I hope to be able to get creating soon.
I have been crazy busy at work. Working between 10-14 hours everyday between the two jobs. Hopefully after tomorow, it will settle down some and I can get back to normal. Ive got to finish all the Christams gifts!

I just thought that I pop in and say that I am still here just been busy getting things organised for christmas and we have school holidays as well in Australia for 6 weeks.
I'm sorry that I have been out of touch for so long. it seems that I have more serious problems than what happened from my fall, which it was actually a good thing since it has alerted us to some other things going on that I probably wouldn't have clued into as quickly. I'm on lots of RX and still have more specialists to see. lots more testing on the horizon. blech!
the good news is that the steroids that I was on for what they thought was wrong with me (which wasn't), have helped me be able to move around temporarily. haven't stamped in several weeks, but will try to while I finish this round of medicine before the pain and swelling kicks in to the really bad stage again.
so I'll try to start posting on your blogs tomorrow to get caught up while I can. have just started feeling a bit better to come to the computer today. so sorry, dear friends!
