Ok I think I sent out the snail mail list to the members that sent their snail mail info. If you want to be included in the snail mail, please pm me your mailing address and you can include your birthday and/or anniversary if you want to. I will update the list next weekend if anyone else sends info.
If you all want actual dates for the challenges, I think Katy was making a calendar schedule for it. Katy do you still want to make one?

I set up my blog list to where it tells me how long ago there was a post. When I see recent ones I stop to visit. So as long as everyone posts once a week I'll be ok. I have seen some awesome things ladies. Keep up the good work. I have been trying to do more cards. Honestly, I think I am better at making mini books whcih is why I am here to make myself attempt more card making. I wish I could visit blogs while at work :(
Good Morning ladies, I've posted the challenge on my blog for this week, I put it out for 1 week, if anybody needs it changed, LMK. Have fun, I can't wait to see what you come up with.
I got my list of names samantha. TY! I wanted to thank everyone for your visits and comments as well! I've been enjoying mine too. This is fun! :p
Thankyou sara for posting our first challenge!! I'll get over there and check it out.
Ok I have my list all updated!! Yeah me...I have some questions, some of you have really big and clear photos of your work on your blog....how do you do it?? Mine are small and fuzzy, but if you click on them they are big and clear. I want them big and clear on my main page.
and how do you add your signature to the bottom of your writeup. I tried by loading it as a pic but it becomes a graphic you can click on just like everything else and I just want it as type...huummmm I think this is clear as mud!! LOL

When I upload my pictures, I make sure the size is on medium or large if it is a small picture. If you are doing that, then it may be the setting your camera is on when you shoot the picture. I also upload my signature as a graphic. I checked out your signature when I was on your blog, and I think it looks great. If you want to get rid of the box around it, you will need to go into Edit Template and change the border to 0px. Warning-this will also remove the boxes from around your pictures. Personally, that doesn't bother me, but if you like the border around your pictures you will need to leave it the way it is. (Unless someone else knows a way around this.)
I hope that helps. I am definitely not an expert on such things, only sharing what I have learned.

O.K. ladies, my computer is back and I visited everyone's blog this morning and left a comment. Thanks for the challenge Sara - hopefully today or this evening. I also am willing to host a challenge when it's my turn.

The Challenges are going to be 2 weeks long. Seemed to be the popular vote. We can start it with the next challenge. I will be working on the hostess schedule someone had asked about. I am on vacation this week, but will get that done as soon as possible. The next challenge will start on Nov. 11th it will be Tiffany's turn to host.

Thank you for that. That way I will not panic if I leave it to the last minute.

I live just outside of Nashville, TN, still in Davidson county though. There is always something to do near me. I grew up near Chattanooga and moved here 15 years ago.
Question, when a challenge is posted.. is it limited to cards, i.e.,when the challenge only specifies "ribbons and polka dots"?
BTW, where is everyone from?
I lived in the San Juaquin Valley of California almost all of my life. Now live in South Lake Tahoe for the past 9 years and absolutely love it here. Dru

I live in Sarasota Florida. I was born and raised here. That's not saying too much though b/c sadly, our "little town" is not so "little" anymore....:(

When you add your pics from your computer and you are about to hit the upload button, resist the urge and check the med or large size photo instead of the small size. I use the med most of the time. Remember to use a dark background when you take your photos if your image is light and vice versa. This will give you a better contrast and crispness. I usually use a piece of black felt and I don't use the flash. Take your photos by a window or outside. I usually take mine out on the covered porch where there is plenty of indirect light. Too much light can wash out your image.
Do a search in the blog forum for signatures. I know I have seen it here before and just have not gotten to doing it myself.
Conni, I have a terrible time getting your photos to load. It takes 15 minutes for the top 1/4 of your pics to show up on your blog. Can you reduce the quality of your images so they load quicker?
Well I am back... I was in Florida for the week where it was nice and warm...I came back to the rain and cold!
My2Cents for visiting sites: I will leave a comment when blogs are updated weekly. I will try to set up myblog to let me know when others update their sites. If a site has not been updated (like min cuz I was on a vacay) I don't plan on posting. I don't expect others to leave comments for me if I have not updated my blog. Some weeks are too crazy...like great vacation weeks!!
Anyway, the card sketch looks great and I will try and get it done btwn now and tomorrow. Did we decide how and where to post... is there a way to link them together?
Normally from my experience doing challenges. I make what ever is specified. i.e. If someone does a challenge and specs. "make a card using ribbons and polka dots" then you should make a card. If the specifics say make something using christmas poinsetta's and the color green then its free reign. I hope this maybe gives a little insight on challenges for hostess and participants. Any other questions please let me know. I will try to help as much as I can.

Conni I have had no problem either when I visit your blog. I make my pics the best for web size before I upload them to my blog. The weather here was 70 degrees! Beautiful and very strange at the same time, it is November the 10th! Fall as yet to arrive here.
