Hello everyone, I am trying to move around the site and try to get to know some other carders. I am a stampin up demonstrator for one year now but I don't really know anyone I started selling because our demonstrator quit and I knew I could sell to the current group that she had. It has worked well I do workshops and I have put the money back into my craft and have an awesome workshop now. Now I want to get better and designing my own cards so I am not always CASEing. I am a Pampered Chef consultant and have done that for 11 years earned trips etc., But I have ALWAYS loved paper and paper crafts. So this is a neat fit for me. Now I want to push the envelope and challenge myself. Stampin up is different than Pampered Chef which is good but I do fell all alone and not a part of a group at all so I thought I would try and connect here for some learning and connecting!! Hope this works. I have a couple cards in my gallery that I have done myself and they aren't bad but I want to be so much better and I know its just putting in the time.
these are very handy - i need to keep the ones that apply to scrapbooking/paper crafting somewhere...also, what is with the names under our pictures? i assure you, i'm not a glitter queen...mad hoarder perhaps....lol
I'm wondering what "subbing" means on my Get it Together event. I have a couple ladies that posted that and I have no clue what they mean. I don't think it means the same thing it does in teacher lingo LOL (substitute teacher)
Thanks for telling about that embossing buddy.
I suppose I can make it by myself. Do I have to use a definite kind of powder?
Hannie,
I wondered the same thing,so I did a LOT of investigating and after 3 weeks.......Cornstarch!!! I made one for myself out of scraps of fabric and my sewing machine. Hope this helps.

Just a big thank you for this list which I've been looking for and wanting to ask someone about all these acronyms which I have no idea what they mean.
Thanks again!
Anita from Aussie
ETA used to mean Estimated Time of Arrival but that probably doesn't apply to SCS???
I'm sure there is some stamping meaning to it now!
Not a stamping meaning, but an electronic forum meaning. It means edited to add. Some threads are editable for various lengths of time here (I think always in swaps, a few minutes in other forums). It usually indicates an addition to a post, particularly when multiple replies follow or much time has passed between the original post and the addition of extra information.

Hi members! Below these quoted words from a terrific stamper, Parisotremba. I'm adding an updated list of acronyms you might have noticed here on the site. Thanks to Paris for starting this up originally!

Yeah? I'm not such a youngster myself, just act like one!
I actually have my work keys on a CRS keychain. It says "I have CRS... Can't Remember S**T". It really is embarrassing when I leave my keychain somewhere. Luckily most people I work with already know it's mine!!
