That stands for Wish RAK (Random Acts of Kindness). Kim explained how it works in another thread:

Would someone tell me what subbing means? I didn't find it on first page....I'm sure it's probably somewhere in here but heading to bed and can't go through 11+ pages today.

Many thanks, Ruby

Welcome to SCS, Ruby!!
We're glad to see you here!

"Subbing" is a term that indicates that member wants to be "subscribed" to that thread in which they've posted "subbing" ... in other words, they want to receive email notifications whenever a new post is made on the thread.

Another way of doing the same thing is to click on the "Thread Tools" button just above post #1 in whatever thread interests you, then click on "Subscribe".

Either way does the same thing.

HTH (Hope this helps!)
;) Bev

Bev,

Thanks so much for the info! I said I know most of them, I believe. Let me change that to, I know "some" of them since I've seen the length of the lists....LOL! I appreciate you answering so quickly! Have a blessed day!

I agree. WOW! How do you keep all these straight? Glad you all posted these for us to be able to look them up, especially for us newbies. My DH is much more fluent than I, but alas, he works out at camp and is not around to ask. Thank you!

That means someone from the wish-RAK group sent them that particular image (they had "wished" for it). Wish-RAK is part of the RAK (Random Acts of Kindness) group here on SCS. I have more info on the RAK group in this thread.

SCS...I love the gallery, have been looking for months and months gathering inspiration. BUT, yesterday I came across the forums...holy moley...this is THE place to get info on anything. I can't get over how helpful everyone is to requests for ideas/templates/video's etc...these members have to be the nicest I've ever read in any forum. I'm making lists of so many things I can't wait to try. So happy I found this!!

WOOT is sometimes not an acronym. It can simply be the word "Woot," an expression of joy, like shouting "Hooray!"

But on forums, the acronym can sometimes mean "Waste Of Our Time" or "Way Out Of Topic."

This list and all its add-ons is a tremendous resource. Someday perhaps we will have a single, univerally accepted list. I'm guessing that some of them will always mean different things to folks depending on their areas of interest.

What is CDO? I go to the original post first to see if it's there, but there are way too many other posts to read through them all to see if this was answered. If it's possible it would be nice if someone could update that original post with all the others that people ask about, it would save others from asking over and over again. Thanks!
