Ina, beautiful photos but as I’ve said before I prefer the weather in Spain, I hate snow, makes me think of struggling to get to work and back home again as we lived on a hill!

Just enjoying our tea in bed before going to the airport, can’t wait to see them all even though it’s only been ten days since we left them, looks like they are on time.
Happy Friday everyone. Gorgeous photos Ina..I’d love some snow and just learnt that it’s going to be 38 degrees on Xmas day..way too hot. The fires are horrendous over East and ours have finally been put out. It’s a bad time over here and the fire fighters do an amazing job. It was 49.9 degrees in South Australia yesterday...way way too hot. What is going on with the weather.
Jan, thank you for my beautiful card. Was a lovely surprise. I didn’t make many cards this year for Xmas so had to buy some...I’m bad...I have sent some out but they may be late.

Oh, Lynn, thank you. Love that paper. The whole card is so fun, Lynn. I am so sorry the postal system didn’t like it! I took a photo of your photo of the envelope. I am going to show my post lady ,if I can catch her tomorrow and ask her what she thinks.
OK so it is almost 10:30pm. Why is my mind whirling? Anyways I am running a backup on my hard drive. I want to do some clean up but I can't remember what to do to speed up the old rust bucket of a computer. I don't want to bug grumpy cause he is still sick.
Sharon I am glad you like it! The papers make me think of a crazy canuck Christmas! Definitely clean and simple for the mail.
The only thing that I can think of is that there isn't enough space before the zip code in your address. Computers want things a certain way. I looked up the format and that is the only thing that is could be??
That lady has some serious app issues! LOL. Her home screen is so busy I'd never find anything. I don't even have half of my screen filled. The rest I can use the pull down screen and find them. But then I'm not an app junkie, like she says she is. I think I've only got two apps I downloaded myself. Everything else came on the phone when I got it. I downloads Zedge for ring tones and a notepad I transferred over from the old phone. I had to transfer it over because its not available in play store anymore. It was a wonderful simple notepad that had no ads, and needed no permissions! And free!

I was a good girl!!!!!!
Grumpy is coming over tomorrow to set me up with something called streaming, which I no nothing about. He has asked for ribs so I went out to get some. I stopped at the large pharmacy first and picked up a little old man! Poor guy had a walker and couldn't find anything. The cash was packed so I told him I would give him a hand. Found things that he needed at the right price point and he was very happy! I was glad that I was feeling well enough to help.
So my no longer temp hubby is doing quite well living in rural Cambridge Ontario. He is living with his son. The son's wife has been great with him. My temp hubby fought the move but I really talked up how it would be better. Now he is very happy he moved.
The video!! Yeah my phone does NOT have that much on it. I don't think my desktop computer has that much on it! I am going through my phone and deleting what I don't need. I am also going through my computer and deleting what I don't need. Pretty soon I will be going through the paper stuff and shredding what I don't need. My downstairs neighbor may not like it!
Feels like fall today. Just grumpy is coming over today.
No clue what I am doing for Christmas day cause I have yet to see a turkey breast. I have only seen whole turkey. I may end up being prime rib like I did last year. Grumpy will just be happy I cooked.
They yucky stuff..Rogers was supposed to call to figure out my services while someone with a brain was here. They never called
Good.. Grumpy was here and I made him ribs like he asked. Yum!! I made enough ribs for 5 people so there would be leftovers. Grumpy is back at work tomorrow and will need food! He is beyond skinny with all the work he is doing. We had a good talk about what I need for TV and cell phone. Since I can't find a turkey breast, we are gonna go with whatever I find at the store. So all is well

Having fun, GS has eaten his weight in Calamari rings for his breakfast! We bumped into some friends yesterday and they joined us, they couldn’t believe he was having them for breakfast!

We are ready...whoohoo. I’m going to have a G&T..I deserve one after what I’ve prepped and made yesterday and today. The table is set and I have my list of things to do after champers brekkie tomorrow morning.

Jan I hope your cold improves. I could eat calamari and seafood anytime lol. We are having seafood for entree tomorrow....our prawns are huge lol. We also have seafood on Boxing Day.

We’ve just collected the piggy, grandad has peeled the giant prawns, we have a buffet today, lots of goodies, GS was stealing the prawns, he had sardines for breakfast on the seafront this morning.
We don’t have a starter because grandad always cooks way too much dinner, we have Christmas pudding, mince pies and sherry trifle for afters
I went for groceries and found a striploin roast.. A bunch of veg that I can roast.
Sweet pea and grumpy will be getting up early to take grandpa to mass. Then they come here to get fed. Probably early. Then off they go since they both have friends in town. I good time will be had by all!

We all had a good time! The roast was perfect there was enough veg for sweet pea. I did all the burping! I am in my jammers. They were in their comfy clothes. We tried a bunch of teas from my advent calendar. Now they are off. They each have friends in town.
We had a good Christmas Day and great presents! I'm a very practical girl and they all got it this year! DS2 got me a new DVD /blue ray player! My old one would start worbling sound about an hour into a movie and I would have to get up and unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in. We just watched a movie that was three hours and no problems! Yay! He got his dad a game camera to put in the woods. DS1 and DIL got me two pairs of jammies with eye masks included, a pair of slippers and a bowl with a handle for my kitchen aid mixer! Love it. Mine didn't have a handle and it was hard to grip. They got DH an attachment for his trailer that has a wheel on and has an arm to raise and lower the trailer and a set of adjustable straps to strap down things he hauls!
Almost forgot an important gift from DS1! Chocolate! Gardners Milk chocolate non pariels for me and peanut butter meltaways for DH and a chocolate fish for his brother! LOL. DH went to the cabin now and will be gone until at least Saturday night. Muzzleloader season, dontcha know! And that rascal had the nerve to take his candy with him! LOL

We had a fun packed day..way too much food but we shall eat it over the next few days. The ham may go for a while lol. My heart was filled with joy to have all of our boys and families together. That’s now done for another year lol.

The biggest gift I got this year was a really bad cold. On Sunday, we had a family Christmas and one of the nephew's son was sick. So, 2 days later my grandson and I came down with it. I've had a horribly racking cough, fever and headache for 2 days, but this morning I am somewhat improved. I'm going to try eating some yogurt now. Just to prove how rough I feel - I got Godiva and Lindt chocolayes and have no interest in trying them.
I'm sorry I do not have a challenge for this week.

Thanks Lynn. My sister-in- law offered me soup, but I absolutly do not like her soups. She makes them from scratch, and I am sure they are healthy, but they are very bland, and she always puts them in the blender to cream them. I think I will just have some ginger tea this evening and then start in the morning with something more substantial.

Sorry I'm late but I spend my Xmas eve and early Xmas Day laid up in ER....I'm home resting. Which is a good allowance I guess . There were no bed space available and they were going to keep me in ER but Dr did lots of cat scan which was good to learn he didn't find nothing so he asked me if I wanted remain there or if I felt well enough to go home and get bed rest . Lol after all the pain ER nurses caused like it was a choice ROFLMBO.
I was put in more pain then when I went in. Crazy never in my life have I ever had or even seen 2 ivs at one time . I was so stressed even my ankles were turning dark drown to blackish.
But I came on to share the text I got from Tootsie aka Sharon and to ask for prayers

Could you please tell the others that I fell when taking a walk and broke both my wrists and will probably need surgery on both we are still in Georgia but will be home Saturday night and asking for. Asking for prayers
Just taking a break from lying in bed, feeling sorry for myself. And find out thatwo of our group are in a lot worse shape than me. Lots of prayers going up for both Sharon and Vicki.
