DS came in from a long run to Texas and brought me a gift. It's a large large bag of laundry!!

So I have been a busy little beaver the last twelve hours. Here are the cards I made, some meet the requirements of the challenges and others were just fun to make.
Isnt standing on your head supposed to be good for you. lol
I have no idea what happens between the time I take the photo and the time i upload them i am going to blame the mac.

That's your story and you're sticking to it, right? LOL They are gorgeous cards. Standing on your head is good for some people, for me, not so much. Especially today. I ran out to a little scrapbooking shop and bought some new paper. I had planned to go to my favorite little stamp shop, but for some reason I just couldn't talk myself into it. Now I'm glad I didn't! My car died at the chinese restaurant and I had to call a tow truck! My starter is bad. If I had gone where I originally wanted to, I would have been sooooo much further from home. Luckily DS was home today and he came and tried to jump start it, but it wasn't the battery, so that didn't help. But he stayed with me and I could ride with him to the garage and get my stuff out of the trunk. What a day! Good news is, the guy said he can have it fixed before noon on Monday.
Sorry to hear about your car. It sounds like the alternator. Sure hope it's something simple.

The mechanic said it is the starter. He crawled down under and tried tapping on it to start it and said it was definately the starter. He is shop foreman according to his business card, so I am assuming he knows what he is talking about. My DS could put in a new alternator, but he didn't have time to get a starter and get it in before he is on the road again. When the jumper cables didn't help, I was figuring alternator or starter....
Reminder:
You have one more day to get your card in for this week! So get out that paper and let's start piecing!!! I love this technique. Next time I go shopping, I am going to look for more stamps that would work for this. Whenever I have done it in the past, I've used the stack of cups from Morning Cup/SU!
I hope that this card will count.. I love paper piecing and would love to do another but as my life is sort mixed up right now I don't know if I can get it done. Anyway I did upload this one.. It is DP layered card with a popped up 50. I am not sure of the definition of paper piecing so if this does not count that is ok.. I thought paper piecing was the layering of an object or stamp???? Is that right??? Anyway.. hope you all have a great day.

Just seeing the thumbnail until your card gets approved, but I counted it as paper piecing. Looks great to me! Here is a link, when you have time. I know you are busy right now, but just putting the link in case you'd like to see the tutorial on SCS.

I got a BRILLIANT idea!!! Next time Dea takes pictures she should turn them all upside down. Then when she posts them they will be right side up!! Am I smart or what? (Don't answer that please!)

I don't have a card done for this yet :(. I've got a meeting tomorrow that will involve craft work before and during the meeting (Bead Society meeting). We're making a bracelet called "Bumps in the Road" - should be interesting.

come on now the sun has been up for hours, or at least in my mind it has considering I have been away since 1:20 am my time. Sad state of affairs... On the up note, I made a card, I cleaned my craft room, I made a pot of soup, I worked out for 60 minutes and I have have four cups of coffee. I am ready for anything.....
