Good afternoon ladies! It's lunch time here in the Rockies. The weather is warming up, we'll be walking around in shorts and sweat shirts soon! HAHA - yes, we do that here. My mind is obsessing over the challenges I want to work on this week, my poor table is at home covered with the remnants of our YCDI challenge. (Which, btw, I gave that card to my office manager who cried over it, that was a sentimental feeling!).
Glad to see I am one of many of us with 7 points! Is there a drawing today? I'm a tad eager to see who the winner is!

How it works
A new challenge is posted every Monday you have a week to make and post the card, points are awarded for different things and prizes are given out...
Did I miss anything ladies
The bigger prize comes at the end of the challenge, which is week #25 I think. Lynn can fill you in on that. The prize drawing this week is special because she wanted to thank you for your patience because of the keyword confusion....there may be other little prizes throughout the weeks too, but I know there is the one for the end of the challenge for the one with the most points. And Dea gets 5 more points for sending over a friend!
So I went to my fancy little friend...random.org to generate a random post number. and guess what SUSAN has won the pack of pretties. I will try and get them off in the mail tomorrow, Thanks again for participating ladies!
Just found you all and I am so excited to try out the challenges (if you will have me...). I have been a SCS fan for awhile now, but had to take some time off and it feels reeeeeaaallly gooood to be back! After starting at the beginning and reading all the way through (best entertainment I have had in awhile... lol!) This seems to be a perfect fit for me because I figure that if "you can do it" than I can too!

When i first started paper piecing the lady that showed me said to start with a person because you already know how to dress yourself and paper piecing a person image follows the same rules. You layer you image the same way you dress.
You will need to stamp three or four images
Layer one. Image stamped on the card face
Layer two, cut out pants and boots/shoes
layer three would be cut out shoes
Layer four cut out top do not include hands unless wearing mitts
If wearing mitts cut them out and add.
Layer five cut out hat and scarf if wearing them.
Flowers are also good to use if you can see how they layer on each other.

That's a secret! Every once in a while, we will throw in a way to earn a prize or a way to earn more points. We want it to be a surprise, but it will be something anyone can do, so we can be fair. Just stay tuned!

You are not too late at all. Our first challenge was last week and this is the second challenge. I think the first challenge was in post #74 to use a handmade flower on your card. You can still get a point if you post it before the end of the month. This weeks challenge is in the siggy. Follow the link. WELCOME, AND Vickie gets some enabler points for you mentioning her name!
