One of my ladies in class Thursday mentioned that there is a mouthwash (or toothpaste? - can't remember) specifically for dry mouth.
Biotene mouthwash is for that, but it won't fix my my mouth. I've tried it all. But I don't have the cotton mouth except through the night. I think that comes from mouth breathing when sinuses are blocked. I keep a bottle of water next to my bed.
Does anyone know of any stores that carry those tiny magnetic discs for crafting? Basic Grey makes some I can get them online at Walmart but they seem a bit pricey. $8.49 for a package of ten sets. I can't find them at Michaels or ACMoore. I don't shop online except Walmart (I can use a gift card at Walmart.com.) Michaels has magnets but they are way too thick.
Kathy, I thought it was, since the dates were 17-18, but on the web site the demo talks like its the most recent one. I guess we all have to wait.
Kandie, you shouldn't have to wait since you're a demo. Maybe you can see it on your demo site. Lucky you! I honestly think stampin up wants all this drooling before they let us lowly minions see it! LOL

Kandie,
As a demo you have access to the new catalog. Go to your demo website. On the far bottom left, scroll down through the current updates until you get to April 9th. Click on Annual Catalog PDF Available. Then click on the word Here where it says See Catalog here. Then click on the image of the new catalog. You can download it onto your computer.
As regular demos we can order select products beforehand. We get to order catalogs to distribute on May 2. Orders take 7 to 10 business days to get to us. Then we can hand or mail those out. Although we can pay and have SU send catalogs for us to our customers during May. These customers would probably receive them the later part of May. SU does not guarantee delivery since they cannot control the USPS. The demos who went to the convention I believe can order before all of us. I am not eligible nor do I have the money to attend, so I'm not really sure. SU tells us that we can't post pages or the catalog early because it will lose its hype and appeal. (Much like it does with me too as I drool over some awesome sets, keeping my fingers crossed that they won't go on back order June 1st.) Anyway, that's all I know, I think.
So, thank you ladies for the wonderful welcome back. I am slowly getting back to my routines. I haven't gone back through the chatter, so if I missed something important, please let me know. I am very behind on all of the challenges. I usually begin with one challenge in mind for a card and then see if I can fit them somewhere else. So, with that in mind, here are a couple of cards I uploaded yesterday, but I haven't looked to see if they fit any of the alpha challenges I have missed or the S2S challenges. Anyway, thanks for looking, if you have the time.
Those are a little bigger, Ann. They are 5/8 and I was looking for the 3/8. Thanks for trying though! My friend checked amazon and could only find the ones I want in a multi pack and I'm not paying $59.99 + $7 shipping!
Sally, my demo friend and I were discussing how quickly everything seems to go on backorder. It wasn't always like that. Especially things that they always need to keep on hand. Recently they were out of rhinestones and some ink colors and paper that were regular colors!
You wonder what does that tell you about the company!
What it tells me is they need someone with better understanding of how much to order. I certainly understand they wouldn't want to be stuck with so much product at the end of a catalog, and maybe that's what was happening. I don't know. I just know they make great quality stuff and I'm willing to pay for it, but please order enough so I don't have to wait! LOL I think this order I had only one item on the backorder and that was an embossing folder that is not retiring.
Hello all! I have been away from here for so long and I am trying to catch up on some of the chatter that I missed. I don't know where all the time goes. Between supporting friends and taxes and work. I have not had a chance to stamp in a very long time. I am hoping to change all that this weekend but the calendar just seems to be so full. I will stop in again soon! Happy crafting!

You know the company has been going through many changes, not only in their product line, but management wise as well. Some very well liked and respected employees are now gone. On watching a video from the conference there was one employee who admitted on camera that he had a lapse in judgement and was glad to be back. HUM... They also didn't tape the ONSTAGE conference this time. Instead they had 4 short videos introducing a few changes with absolutely no audience feedback in the background. Really boring, and leaving all of us in the dark on what others got as prizes, or were able to order ahead of time. Makes me wonder what is really happening.
Vickster - if you are looking for help with your Art Impressions Twist Tie giraffes, look for a video by Kristina Werner. She did one a little while back (can't remember if it was the giraffes or not but it was one of the twist ties). Sorry about the dry mouth, that is miserable!
Kathy - your mouth problem sounds miserable too, and they can't figure it out?
Kandie - you have dry mouth too? I dislike it when I have a cold and the only way to breathe is through my mouth so it gets dry. It is already 65 or warmer here, Kandie. And yes, we are still looking for a home but not finding anything. It is discouraging.
Adorable photo of a sleeping Dusty Dog.
Ann - I used to work in the purchasing department of a hospital which is when I learned about "just in time" inventory. Where the company tries to keep enough on hand to have it when ordered, but not so much that they have a lot of dollars sitting in inventory. When a company has a lot of back orders, it could mean that they are struggling or they are adjusting how they manage their inventory and still getting it figured out. Hopefully, with SU, it is the second option. (There are probably other options too but those are the ones that jump to the top of my brain.)
Hi Annette! I'm glad you popped in. I know when I was getting ready for a ministry weekend, I was away from crafting for so long I wondered if I'd even still be able to make a card! LOL
Sally - that sounds a little concerning about the changes at SU and with how they did Onstage.

I don't think they are struggling, or why would they give out so many gifts at their conventions? Those who attend come home with tons of stuff!
Hello Crew....how is everyone? Things here...still crazy as ever. Ron goes back to work Monday...yay!!! Thank you for all of your prayers!!!! Well I just wanted to let y'all know I am thinking about you and I have not forgotten about you and I miss you!!!!!!! Hugs and Prayers
I don’t sleep with my mouth open, I know, because on the very rare occasions when I do (ha!) I snore myself awake! I just have dry mouth 24 hrs a day. I’m on Celexa, or Citalipram is the generic name, have been for years, and since the first week I started taking it I’ve had a dry mouth. Coffee regular, coffee decaf, cranberry juice over ice, then ice water, all day until bedtime. No wonder I’m up, running into DH in the hallway either coming or going, all hours. Ann, are you an all day liquid person too? Lol, I caught it in time, liquid was almost LIQUOR! Yikes!
Dani, glad Ron is heading back to work, yay!
Happy stamping, Sally, thanks for the updates!

Phil. 4:13: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
I have just been playing with the Flourish Thinlits (yes, that would mean I got my order yesterday!). I'm in LOVE people! They are so MY style. So far, that's the only thing I've played with.
I also finally bought the Art Impression Utility Dies & stamps set:
I need to try those out- they're going to make cool "guy" cards! It means I'll need to dig out brads, though. How long has it been since I used a brad???
BTW- I get the dry mouth during the night, from wearing my CPAP. I have the Biotene spray to squirt into my mouth to get some spit working again.
If the stupid slow virus scan ever finishes, I'll try and upload the pics I took of DBIL's birthday card.
I bought a bunch of the chin straps, to keep my mouth closed while I sleep, but with that on & the CPAP, it was just too much and the chin strap irritated my neck, so I quit using them.
Good morning! Sunrise looks like we might actually have sunshine today. We had about 10 minutes yesterday. The weatherman said sunny and high 50s. DH said he doesn’t know what city the guy was talking about, because it sure wasn’t ours!
DH watched NASCAR all evening last night and I browsed Netflix with my earphones on trying to find a movie to watch. Is anyone here a NASCAR fan? Instead of one long exciting race, it’s broken into three smaller races now. DH said it’s like watching paint dry. He watched it, but I think he was really asleep with his eyes open.
Pat, those utility tool dies are terrific! I’m actually thinking of how to make an Altoid Box into a small red toolbox, and those die cuts would be the perfect filler inside! Can you tell me how long the biggest one is?
A DH story. He asked me if I’d like a peanut butter sandwich. I said, please, with jelly also. He said would you like that peanut butter on the top or the bottom? I said hmmmm, on the bottom please. So he makes my sandwich, cuts it in half, turns one half over, and says here, I made you one half with the peanut butter on top, and one half with the peanut butter on the bottom.
So I go to make him one later, and I say, would you like YOUR peanut butter (no jelly) on the top or the bottom. He thinks a bit, then he says, in the middle, please! So I gave him his sandwich standing on the edge!!!
Sometimes we act like children, I swear.
Dusty got us both up at 7:30, drank half my coffee, and went back to sleep, while we’re still trying to wake up and are staring at a blank TV screen.

After what I went through Im not surprised. Some of those people in high places need to be removed seems the right hand doesnt know what the left is doing. Then again when you got that kind of people what I had to deal with eventually it all falls back on them and lots of times many are hired by who they know and not what they know . Happens to much now days . And then you have these overly educated and qualified people but they have no common sense. Ok lol Im getting away from the memory of what I had to go through tho I will never forget I choose to be better and happy then all those horrible individuals. Ohhh Happy dayyy.. lala lala . Mahalo sis Sally for being so awesome!! They need hire you.
Sis Catherine.....I pretty much figured what needs to be done and where the issues are. The problem is when they mass produce they use the same instructions for everything and as pros we all know when it comes to crafting nothing is set in gold. These twist tie set I come to the conclusion it really comes down to where the images get stamped. I did watch a video on it and if I. Not mistaken it’s probably the lady mentioned and it may have been the other set . Because on the giraffe set the one doing the video actually mentioned she had major issues with lineing up the giraffes and she has never had the problem in all her years of crafting lol anyways I just know from doing mine the scoring in the instruction is definitely not made for the giraffes lol but I took a break after fixing the other 3 I had pre scored and stamped. So hopefully I get to try again today to get some more cut out. I’m also debating if I’m just making 3 envelopes with images or if I’m going to make it into a simple kit .
I found those 3/8" basic grey magnetic snap closures I wanted for only $4.49 each at Jo anns but they are only available online and shipping is $8!!! Twice as much as the magnets!
