Hi everyone! I just got back from a quick trip to Michaels. When I was making my mason jar lid from the FF tutorials, I realized I do not have anywhere near enough orange Copic markers (makes sense since orange is a least favorite color). Well, Michaels must have heard me because they sent me a 50% off coupon good only for today so I went and used it. I have now doubled my collection of orange Copic markers. lol
LOL Catherine.. so you only had one orange? (forgive my brilliant mind, hahaha!!)
I have a couple oranges.. some peaches.. I actually have a decent little collection going.. but I've only bought a few brand new. I've gotten several that were used.. all seem juicy except for one.. and I can't remember if it was yellow or pink.. I had a little post it strip wrapped around the cap so I'd know to buy that refill first, but looking over there now.. I don't see it. It must have fallen off.
Oh ladies, if you could SEE my desk. It's a total mess. I need to clean up and put everything away. I got my 2 b'day cards made.. one is in the mail already. The other one I'll probably mail Tuesday.
Thanks for playing along with my little survey. Would any of ya'll be offended if I sent a *gasp* store bought card? I'd love to send a card to you all, but I won't have nearly enough to go around... besides, you've all seen the ones I've made in my gallery already. hahaha...
I only sent a couple handmade cards last year, but would like to send more to family this year.
I'm debating on shutting stuff down in the craft room and going to the family room.. maybe watch Law and Order... Bf said 'don't be in a big hurry to go to bed tonight...' Apparently he's got lots of books to pack up to ship tomorrow.
I just paid a couple bills online and went over my budget for the month... Eesh.. things are tight. I sure wish I could find a way to make some $$ from home... I hate being broke.
Ok, I think I'm gonna go relax on the couch. I can clean the craft room tomorrow, right? ;) lol
Regarding the time change- usually, we only have to manually set the microwave, the stove, and the lighthouse clock in the bathroom. We have atomic clocks pretty much everywhere else. Well, the one in the livingroom didn't reset itself, so DH took it down, and put it on the windowsill in the kitchen (where every other atomic clock can pick up the signal), and it went nutso! All the hands wen around and around and around...so, he tried changing the batteries, it did the same thing. It's in the garbage now, and he has moved the one in the kitchen to where I can see it from the couch in the livingroom. Works for me! After all, we've got the fancy musical clock in the entry, so there's actually a clock in the "livingroom". (I just can't read it from the couch!)
Jennifer - yes, that's right, I had only one orange. Now I have two!
I need to get more done but I really did get a lot accomplished today. Ran, made breakfast which was really brunch, did laundry, made a couple loaves of bread, butternut squash soup is almost ready as is the cornbread.
Pat - I can't see any clocks in our family room which is where I spend most of my time. I guess we could set the DVR clock anyway, then it would be visible.
Catching up on the chatter! I was actually watching a movie with number five son!!
Feet up and pulse massager on my back!!
I sent out 150 cards and all handmade. I have not used store bought cards since I started making cards!
I am about half way there for my 2018 cards already!! But what I want to remember is to not add so much stuff to the cards!! Keep them thinner!! No added large ribbons or flowers. I have way to many of those just sitting here that I will not mail.
Hated turning on the news with another loss of life!
I just complete Rachel’s birthday card waiting on it to dry wish I went with red back ground but the yellow wouldn’t show and it does nicely on white! lol this is the closet my supplies come to that group Guns N’ Roses lol
Guess I’ll just drop it in free for all kitchen sink lol got a lot of white space but i do t think it will pass for clean and simple with the kitchen sink in it lol
I do believe the yeti challenge is officially closed. We should see the list of prizes come up,soon, so we can all drool and pick out which ones we want to win, lol.

Lol or if I’m even lucky to win.... some people just have all the luck!! 48 means prizes will be very much on the thin side lolI still feel they should have at least required 1 tutorial...pretty sad they wasted 10 wonderful hostess hard work, time, and energy.
I can agree with that, Victoria, although I do admit I now have a love of tutorials.
I do too. That is even more why Im passionate of how I feel they really didnt give these ladies the respect they deserved for the time they spent making those Tutorials by not at least requiring at least one be a requirement. You know Even Des loved the Tutorials she had done only tutorials before the accident and no card so nasicly she had no enter for ff because it was dismissed. See how much got really a bad turn by dismissing the Tutorials? Anyways I pushed her to finally make a card. Since all her Tutorials didnt count. But like you I come to love it and Des already does so at least for us there were gains
Morning all!! In search for a new chiropractor in the area!! So far no luck for today!!One chiropractor is pregnant and due any second and the other it booked for today, but got in for tomorrow morning!! About eight minutes down the road though instead of where my former guy was a 45 minute drive!
So not much going on today, hurting too much. I think I turned wrong loading cupcakes!!
Good Morning Ladies,
Well, I was able to finish the first part of my cleanup. To clean up, rearrange, organize, etc. the back storage area in order to get to my empty bins. This was all messed up when my brother had his last project done (the Greenhouse). The workers love to just put things in any open space. Here are some before (first 3 pics) and after pictures. I took them to try to get my brother to enforce the workers to cleanup. Ugh!

Ouch now Im feeling the pain as well. You need to take it easy superwonderwoman!!
Ann - sorry to read that you are feeling pain. I'm glad you found another chiropractor, I hope he/she is a good one. My chiropractor is about 40-45 minutes away too.
Sally - wow, that was a lot of work. You want to come and help me next? ;) And I understood you to say that is just the first phase. It sure will feel good when you are all done.
Sharon - I have also wondered how some people come up with ideas so quickly. I have a digital record of what I have so it is easy to find but then I still have a hard time deciding on layout, colors, etc.
Kandie - you not only come up with ideas quickly, but they are usually creative and unusual...which is why you are a Dirty Girl!
Vickster - good morning!
Yes, I think the yeti thread should be officially closed. I'm just surprised they haven't had a prize thread visible so we could already be drooling!
My DDs are excited that this week they only have 2 days of regular school schedule. The other three are half days. They are excited, for me it is a challenge as they are out of school while I'm still at work 30 minutes away. Then they have one week of regular schedule followed by a week off for Thanksgiving.
Yes, Catherine. The cleanup of the storage room is phase one. Now, that I can get to the empty plastic bins, I need to fill them with my things from the guest house, so that they can start the remodel in there. My brother wants to convert this into his small apartment for his retirement house. The small room where my boxes and things are currently stored is going to be converted into a room for his altar and prayer/meditation, home mass area. I think what he wants done is going to take some time, but he wants to get started. So, my things have to come out. Off to work I go. Talk to you soon. Maybe some before and after pictures of this might be good. It's the only way, I feel I actually got something done sometimes. Work is never finished, right Ann?
I watched little man two hours this morning. My sister just texted me that he said "that silly aunt Kathy put my nightly on me!" When I got him dressed this morning he didn't tell me that was not a shirt, it was a long shirt he wears as PJs to bed! I can always tell when he is awake. Mickey mouse pillows come down the stairs! He tosses one down, runs to his room for the next until all five are at the bottom of the steps! Then little footsteps pitter patter down the steps.
Good news. The dryer we all bought my mom arrived an hour early and she's already used it! The three young men that brought it were very nice. They wore back straps and two of them carried the dryer down the cellar steps!
