Here is the tumbnail of my original, see what you think...
Okay... maybe a little better but it is still distorted. I am going to try this again. Maybe it was the way I sized the picture. The original photo is the second tumbnail... LOL.... Now that I look it them both side by side, I think maybe it is just a bad wide looking picture of him!!!!
Yeah, I think they both look the same. Maybe it's just the angle you took it at. I still just love your page, and that photo is fun. I like the 50's cars and retro stuff.
Hmmm, looks like I'm the only one visiting here today.
I got a total of 4 pages done this past week and weekend, which puts me over my very small goal for October!
These are for IFC10 - Lovely Landscapes. I loved doing these pages of the fall season, because I really miss the fall colors here in Phoenix.
Well, I finally got my pages for this challenge posted. I finished them last weekend. I loved doing these pages of the fall season, because I really miss it here in Phoenix.
Any constructive criticism. I am pretty new to this.

Fabulous Deb! Too funny - what kind of tree is it? lol! I don't know if you would have them in AB, but look for Gleditsia Tri. (triacanthus?) "Skyline" or "Sunrise" also known as Honey Locust. They have a LOVELY silhouette indeed.
I planted a lot of those trees that are around Front Street, John/Peter/Blue Jays Way... and I helped propagate and grow a bunch of 'em too!

I've never seen that tree before, that's why I took a picture of it. This particular tree was directly across the street from the Rogers Centre and CN Tower, so maybe it was one that you planted. That's such a coincidence. Thanks for telling me that (maybe I'll add that to my journalling).

I actually did another page last night-for Darcy's challenge--to add bling. I painted some chipboard with white acrylic paint and while it was still wet, sprinked it with glitter and then sprayed it with sealer!! Fun stuff-I still need to upload to my gallery-so when I do, I'll let you all know!

Just popped in to say and and confess that I am failing miserably this month in my goal. I did some cards, but mostly have switched to my fiber crafts in the evenings. I guess I am in a sort of creative slump! I look at my stuff and totally draw a creative blank. Maybe did too much at once and now and out of Mojo

OMG! That totally cracked me up!!!!
Okay, I was the type of scrapper you are and that's why my friends and I chose one day to make it OUR time to scrap. We first did once a month but that didn't work so well for us so we moved it to once a week. We realized if we didn't make the once a month meeting we wouldn't scrap until the next time we met. If we miss one week it's only one more week until our next meeting.

The best part about having monthly goals is that even if you take a month off, you may find some MOJO and inspiration to start scrappin' the next month and that way you're still getting pages done! Sometimes it hits me when I'm "finishing" an album...kind of like you just did with DGS? I'm thinking a break to work on fiber crafts for awhile and you'll be back working on more scrappin' soon!

YAY! I made my goal for this month. ALtho I didn't do any personal scrapbooking I still scrapbooked making 3 gift albums for 3 babies! YAY! That puts me for 60 pages this month! I am happy. Hopefully I can get a few more pages in before the end of the month.
Almost done our Toronto trip now. I'm so glad I found this thread - I think it is actually helping me get some pages done.
