Good morning everyone! Happy Sunday. I am planning on knocking out some personal pages today later this afternoon. I need to work on my goal. I do best under pressure, that's why I saved it until the last minute...yeah that's the reason

Well...scrappy sisters, I have a dilemma....as you know, I've been working on DS trip to Washington, DC picts. I don't have all the pages done but some and I'm finding that the pages I just completed are bugging me. I had originally planned to do all the pages with a "Red, White & Blue" color theme. I deviated from that plan and now I don't like them.
I know "Done is Done" but I think those will always bother me, LOL!
Crazy?

No.... Not that this will help much or make sense but... I did the same thing when I first started out here on SCS. I was putting together my book about my college days. I had completed one page in dark orange and green to match the Mountains and landscape in the pictures from out "Spirit Days" Outing. And then another using some purples and blues from the background colors in my pictures. Then one of the challenges encouraged us to use our school colors and since mine were "Dixie" Red, White & Blue, sO I completed the challenge in my colors, getting more bugged by the minute...wishing then I had done all my pages in Red, White & blue. And while I was putting my pages together, my son walks into my office and began looking at all my old pictures. His first comment was.... "I didn't Know your School Colors were Orange & Green!" Okay.... NOW I WAS Really BUGGED... and I knew that if I didn't redo them I would never be happy.
SO guess what I am in the process of doing.... Yup! REDOING...
I think the main reason for my change is because my college days are such a big part of my life... That is when I found out who I was as myself, some of my lifelong friends are from that time era and that is when I met and married my best friend of 24 years. SO you can only imagine the importance these memories have for me.
And I don't think it really matters the depth of the memories as much as the importance of the memories... SO I think that if those memories are really important to you then you should changed them to keep the good feeling coming in the years to come.
I haven't (yet) re-done a page. I've been tempted to redo some of my dd's baby pages but I've decided they reflect the style at the time I was doing them so I've left them. If I didn't like a page I did LAST NIGHT, I'd change it (if I found the time :rolleyes

Thank you so much for sharing! I totally agree! I'm going to re-do these pages. He was SO excited to go to Washington DC. It's about being at the nations capitol (which I did do that page in red, white, blue) but I just feel the Memorials and other sites he saw should also be. Plus, when you look though the book it will all sort of go together. It's only a 4 pages at this point...better to do it now.

All right ladies... I put together my very first full digi page from start to finish. I usually use smilebox and all I have to do there is clip and drag, change the accents and text. But this challenge required us to use the photo was our background and also inset our photos. I really like the way this turned out, but I wish that when it uploaded it hadn't widened it out so much. My classic really isn't that wide and I am not referring to the car.... :-D ...LOL! So Here is my page.

I agree, I look back at my pages with the strips of colored paper, the triangles, the "look I have a shape maker that does ovals and circles and hearts and octagons and I'll put them all on the same page then I'll add A SNEEZE OF STICKERS!!!' pages and I smile because that was where I started and we have all come a long ways.

Wendy...
Here is the tumbnail of my original, see what you think...
Okay... maybe a little better but it is still distorted. I am going to try this again. Maybe it was the way I sized the picture. The original photo is the second tumbnail... LOL.... Now that I look it them both side by side, I think maybe it is just a bad wide looking picture of him!!!!
