That said, I have completed 6 pages in the last couple days but can not upload yet my computer crashed and hubby is graciously letting me use the lap top but I can not upload from it...he doesn't want all the craft stuff on here. Men are so funny they do not know the important things in life.............LOL Well hopefully mine will be back from the shop next week.

Scrapbook goal: April 7/10 MAY /5 YTD 32
First I want to say welcome to all the new scrappers on our thread. WELCOME to a wonderful place you will find much inspiration here and much friendship and sharing of ideas. There are alot of wonderful ladies here all with awesome scrappin ideas! I look forward to seeing your creations. That said, I have completed 6 pages in the last couple days but can not upload yet my computer crashed and hubby is graciously letting me use the lap top but I can not upload from it...he doesn't want all the craft stuff on here. Not sure if it's the 50 teen agers in my yard/drive for my youngest 16 yr old bday party or the Band (Medicine Monkeys) I hired to play a mini concert that has me fired up but it's all good ...I'm scrappin' , laugh! :cool:

I have updated all of the June Goals! Already AWESOME pages in the Gallery! Off to leave some scrappin' love for all of you...AND finish up the pages I started last night! Woohoo! :cool: What's better on a rainy Saturday than Scrappin'?

I think this coming week I can finally start to scrap again.! Had the card making get together again today at church and we made 170 cards. Can't make it in July with vacations and work etc so they've decided to try for August for the next get together. I like to make cards but not when I HAVE to, iykwim? I think we've made close to 500 so far this year and all but 50 or so of those have I gotten together for everyone to make (the cutting and most of the stamping). I'll probably end up buying my christmas cards this year! LOL! They aim to meet monthly starting in September. I don't think I can come up with enough different ideas to make 150-200 cards per month!

Wow -- that's a lot of cards. I hope you can recruit some help -- doesn't sound like a lot of fun if you're doing most of the work!
I have finished number two. I used a really ragged piece of background paper, with pencil marks, pieces cut out etc, but I think I covered them up really well.
I have packed 80% of my scrapbooking stuff to move when we sell, so I am truely down to the "dregs" of my items.
If it doesn't work, let us know and we'll keep trying to help!
Hey, thanks, that is SO much easier. I am having such a great time on here!! One more page and I can put the money to some GOOD use, as I am now low on background pages.

OMGosh! I've missed you guys. I've missed the entire month of April. Richard and I got married in Jamaica on April 20th and it was perfect! During May I gave a presentation on Sexual Assault, completed and presented my research project, and now for June I am frantically applying for my Kansas medical license, looking for a house in Kansas, planning the move and studying for the written ob/gyn boards (15 days to go). I only have 5 more shifts of residency which totally thrills and terrifies me!
Anyway, I cannot WAIT to get my hands on some ink, paper, and die cuts. Not sure I'll get any projects in this month- but I'm still maintaining my year goal of 50. Not ready to give up on that one yet. After residency I know I will have more time.

That is a LOT of cards. I too only like to create when I don't "have" to. Even for workshops, etc. I have to plan the next one as soon as the first one is over so I'm still motivated. Good luck!

Lynley -- so good to see you! I've been thinking about you lately and was going to PM you to see how you were. Now, I know! Your photos are wonderful--you look beautiful! Glad some of your hurdles are behind you, but it sounds like you still have a few ahead, which I'm sure you'll sail over!
Good luck with all your goals and the upcoming boards. I'll keep you in my prayers!!

Wow you girls are awesome, lastnight I was getting ready to go to bed early and thought NOPE!!!!!! I only have 2 weeks left to get 6 pages completed. So I stayed up an extra 45 minutes and popped out two completed pages. Yea, I was so excited!!! I'll upload pictures tonight when I get home from work.
