Ladies: just afriendly reminder I need final confirmation by the 1st, and payment by the 5 to secure a spot..

Peggy I'll send my money/cheque back with Joanne after the weekend and she can mail locally so it'll get there more quickly! Well I don't know about oestrogen charged or neurotic but I can yak a storm and I'm a obsessed stamper! Now I just have to get Saturday(Regionals) over and then I can concentrate on doing stuff for this! YAY! :lol:

The only way I get days off work lately is to get a hotel room where they can't find me or leave the province.....And I get to Meet RUTH! I took vacation today to pack and laundry and stuff - but I gotta do my swaps too!
You know I take LOTS of pictures, lots of the same thing too - gotta get the best angle eh? Good think I got a digital - I used to spend SO much on developing pictures that didn't turn out.
I might be in! Do I have to let you know for sure? BF and I are celebrating his bd that night, and since he's done finals, he might want to actually spend the day with me, but if we don't have plans, I'd love to come...

this is sad news only because I have done something ridiculously stupid this week.

I never, ever do this kind of thing...
not keys, not wallet, not gloves or scarves or shoes.
a gf/customer paid me, plus I got my baby bonus and I carried the two cheques around the house-
I was determined not to set them down anywhere silly since the house was in full chaotic mode from me just having come back from innisfail.
and yet, when I went into my purse an sat am, to grab them as we passed a bank... they weren't there....
no biggie, I calmly think, they are prob in *default safe place* on a magnet board in the house.
came home way later with new cheap (and free, yay!) furniture/junk/shelves for the stamproom and start moving the whole stampcave around...just to complicate things more!
later, I remember the cheques, and I still can't find them.
Ransack house ...
even trash and recycle blue bags.
I looked everywhere!
to complicate matters, 4y-o ds is in a cutting up mood and is stuffing little bits of stamped paper of every description into envelopes of every description, which he then *hides* around the house.
I feel like I am in a mental institution!
a very messy, stampy one.
gf/customer is stopping paymnt and will mail me new chq
I told her right away, *just in case* the chques did leave the house with me...
...we were everywhere on sat...farmers mkt, rummage sale, groceries...drove sil, and cousin to stuff they needed to do too....
But I'm pretty sure they are here somewhere, mocking me from their hiding place...
I have the gov't chq stub...maybe I can get re-imbursed by the time ds is in college,
but I wonder,
will my brain come back when I am able send ds to kindergarten ?
I sure hope so.
and how will I survive the trip to Western Ed...?

Peggy - I have a new toy to share - I just finished ordering from R&R Scrapbooking and have a EK Success Merry Go Round Light Box on it's way. It looks way cool! I will bring it.

Glad you got it! As for the card... well it seemed appropriate to send to a smallpigpig and it was just wrong to send the cheque without a card So I'm glad you liked it.
