You could lighten your cards by 1 or 2 table lights with white light bulbs from different angles when taking the photos. This way your photos of the cards will have their own real colors and a more daylight feeling. Also less editing in photo program.

This is what I am doing now with my photos, but I'm still not happy with my results. Sometimes I have to try taking my photos over and over again. I'm reading the reviews on the light tents/boxes but I'm still undecided which one I want to purchase.
Sorry Patty! I have gone into the settings and clicked "no" now for everything so you should be able to leave a comment. Originally it did require you to have some sort of "i.d." or be signed in. You shouldn't have that issue any longer. I also removed the verification process...I think ;)
I didn't have on the approver process so I left that off ....??
Hopefully that works easier for everyone
Thanks so much. I'll go now and try to leave some comments for you. I've never had a problem commenting on anyone's blog before so I wasn't sure if the problem I was having was on my end.
Lela- are you a Longaberger consultant? I have a basket that I want to send to Longaberger to be fixed and I think I need some sort of repair form from a consultant.
And I was able to leave a comment for you, but only as Anonymous. I'll have to keep trying to see if I can comment so that you will know it is me. I tried the name/url and that didn't work either.
Morning ladies!
very busy day around here. Thanksgiving lunch with DS at school. DD has cheer practice and then a game at 3:30 then DH's team (he coaches basketball at our church school) plays at 6:30. Wowzers!
I'll try to check in later this evening for chit chat! HUGS
I'm in for the December challenge. I will try to visit everyone's blogs today.
Hey Diane!
I tried to send you the address list by private message but SCS said your inbox is full. Can you delete some of your old messages so I can send the list? Thanks sweetie!
Hello everyone! It has been pretty busy around here. Everyone has lots to do! I am getting ready to go for a run then fix dinner. Not sure what the rest of the evening will hold. It is getting cold here, so maybe I will cuddle up on the couch!
Patty - Thanks for the light box info. I will have to look in to that.
I am really surprised that Longaberger is selling at outlets now. I am guessing that will decrease the value of them.
Everyone have a good evening! I hope to check back later!
Until next time.
I don't think they are selling current items--only older items and things like jewelry, clothes, ornaments, etc. I looked at the link and it might be the same as the outlet store online.

No sorry Patty, I'm not a Consultant for Longaberger. I just do business with them so I do go to Frazeysburg to call on them. I can't help on the basket fixing issue as I don't own any ... gasp! I have lots of baskets but my SIL makes them so if I need one, I just call her and describe what I'm looking for ... She does a GREAT job!
As far as the comments on my blog I'm not sure what to do. I have gone into settings and turned off everything? I'll just know that "anonymous" is probably you :o
BUSY-BUSY 2 days at work, hope to be calmer by Thursday

I'll keep trying on my end here to figure out the comment thing, but I just wanted you to know that I didn't forget about your blog
My kids have Longaberger baskets I bought them when they were born. I had the nurses at the hospital place their footprints inside the lid of the baskets and the handle broke off of my daughter's kiddie purse basket. Her footprints are inside so it's very important to me that I get it fixed since it can't be replaced.
A friend of mine told me that Longaberger will repair it (for a charge of course plus shipping both ways). I don't know how the handle broke. The rivet/bolt thingy (can't think what it's called) just popped out of the handle on the side of the basket and it needs to be put back in. Hubby can't figure out how to get it to stay and I don't want it ruined. I'll have to call the company and ask them about it.
Good Morning Ladies--I got a lot done yesterday, but nothing involving stamps and ink and paper! Dentist cleaning was OK--then I stopped at grocery store as well as Goodwill. It was a nice day and there are not many more left, so I cut the grass for the last time of the year, stored away the deck table/chairs, fountain, garden hoses so, the garage is stuffed. We have not put anything into the new garage yet, as they need to finish one wall.
But, today, I will head to the stamp room to create--I will--I will!
Good morning ladies. Very cold day here in the west, and... it began to snow!!!. Perfect day to be in my craft room making... Christmas cards... but the one that I made didn't look Christmasy at all. I followed the challenge but didn't seemed Christmas for me so I made something different. I hope everyone is doing good this Wednesday.
Good Morning Ladies--another sunny day in Wisconsin, though it is pretty cold.
Today I am going to work on a couple of swap cards and hope to swap out the Santa card swap to get them postal today. I am heading to Madison tomorrow for a full day of stamping activities. Tomorrow night is the Make and Take Market stamp show--you pay a higher entrance fee, but get to make items at most every booth and also shop with much less crowds. I am meeting LJ from SCS for supper and then we are heading to the show. During the day, I am taking two classes--the morning one is on metallic cards and the afternoon one is holiday cards. I am staying overnight as the M&T goes until 10--then heading home early in the morning as we are heading to Green Bay for a Packer weekend. Saturday we have tickets for a Lambeau Field tour and dinner at Lombardi's in Appleton--then Sunday tickets to the Bart Starr Tailgate party and then to the noon game. We are meeting friends from western WI who got the tickets and it will be a fun weekend.
So, I probably will not be online tomorrow morning and not back until Sunday night. I will check back later today.
Wow! Barb! What a weekend ahead for you! That is amazing! I'm so glad for you! Have a great time and show pics when you return! Be safe
Hey ladies!
Our power went off for a while today. Then the internet was out for even longer. Just now getting to check in. I hope you're all having a wonderful day!
Good Morning--Happy Friday and Happy start to the Weekend!
I am out of here--heading to Madison for the stamp classes and stamp show--will not be back online until late Sunday as we are headed to Green Bay for a Packer game weekend!
Both of the cards classes were wonferful and I got some great ideas--of course I had to buy a couple of the stamps and papers we used...........................
The show was good too--though I did not see too many new things. There were a few booths that were not at the show-like My Daily Bread. And a few news ones--like Seaside Stampers. I only did three M&T as the ones I really wanted to do had some longer lines. I did get a couple of new things and also got to have supper and spend time shopping with LJ--FUN!
We are off in a half hour to Green Bay, so I will be back tomorrow night. Have a great weekend!
Yay! I finished my card for December challenge! Quick question...are we doing this blog hop style or do I just do a post of my card? Please let me know! Thanks!

Yes on the 5th, somewhere in your post, direct people to your sidebar where our group is listed. Let's try to have all our creations posted by 8am that morning. That way everyone's will be up around the same time and no one will have to keep going back to the blogs to see if someone's is posted yet.
And make sure after we have posted our own creation that we go to each Crafty Gals blog and leave some love!
Hi ladies, i've been in Vancouver with family this weekend and i saw there is a lot to catch up. I'll be visiting blogs and make some comments and will catch up more tomorrow. I hope you had a wonderful weekend!!!
I had a great weekend--we did the Lamabeau Field tour on Saturday and it was very nice--the tour guide was a friend of mine who used to be an Athletic Director and is now the head of tours--Great Job! We had a wonderful dinner Saturday night at a restaurant called Lombardi's Steak House-lots of historic pictures in the place too. Then, Sunday morning we went to a tailgate party and the game was at noon. It was cold as the temp was 32 degrees at kickoff, but we were dressed for the weather and the Packers did win! They are now 10-0, but the game was a bit closer than it should have been.
We got home around 8:00 and it was a slow drive home--took 4 hours to go what should have been 2 1/2 hours--lots of game traffic as well as hunting traffic, all coming home.
I have a swap to get swapped out and postal today as well as a swap to work on as I'd like to get my cards--6 sets (what was I thinking?) postal on Wednesday.
I hope you too had a good weekend and have a great start to a wonderful week!
Good Morning -
Barb - sounds like you had a great weekend!
It is cold and rainy here today. I have to take Stella to the vet and then I am having a new washer delivered!!! Mine broke just over a week ago and I never thought I would be excited to do laundry. It is driving me crazy that I can't. So hopefully later tonight the new one will be in and I will be washing away!!
I plan to fit some stamping time in between there somewhere. Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning Everyone--nice sunny day here today and it is to stay that way for a few days. It is to be rainy on Saturday and Sunday though.
We are headed to my brothers for the Packer game and Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow and will stay overnight. Friday morning we will travel north a few hours to roomies sister's house for the weekend. Her niece from Alaska will be home this year, so it will be nice to see Erin (though we did see her this summer) I picked up a large wreath frame yesterday and will assemble one for the peak of the garage while we are there.
We will be home sometime on Sunday--hope to leave early to beat some of the traffic and then the Christmas transformation begins on Monday! I am taking my laptop along, but not sure if I will be able to check in at all.
If I do not check back today, have a Blessed Thanksgiving!
