I've put the four suggestions for names that we've had so far on Post #4 of this thread. I'll add to it as we get more suggestions, and hopefully we can come to a consensus soon.
Good Afternoon Blogging Buds--hope you all had a blessed and peaceful past few days.
Christmas Day at my brother's was very nice--stayed up late and slept in a bit later in the morning. We had breakfast there with one of my nephew's family and then headed to the other nephew's house for a quick visit and a cup of coffee. We got home around noon yesterday and packed up again to head to Chicago to see my roomie's nephew and wife and baby Arlyn--6 months old! He is so darn cute. Her other niece from New Jersey was also there, so we watched the Packers tromp all over the Giants, went for a walk (they had about 6 inches of lake-effect snow), stopped in at three restaurants that were too crowded and ended up at one two blocks from their house--after walking for a half hour..................... We then came home last night. Today is just hanging out for a bit, then headed to Milwaukee later for the Bucks game. We are stopping at two furniture stores to look for a new cabinet to hold the electronics in the family room and also a new hutch to replace two we now have and will give to family members--trying to downsize a bit (plus roomie would like to get a pinball machine and make it a true "game or family room ;))
Tomorrow we are headed back to Illinois to Arlington Heights to see my grand-nephew play in a basketball game--time is either 10:30 or 3:45, depending on if they win or lose today. So, I hope to chat more tomorrow or Wednesday for sure.
