Hi everyone! I have been MIA....working on a huge project in our garage. I am late again this month, but I am actually in the basement now trying to catch up!
I need to complete cards for April, June and July. I have ideas for all of them. I will post them when complete :-) Thanks for being patient.
Hello Ladies! We did not go to VillageFest last night as it would have been an hour and half bus ride--so we just hung out at the hotel and ordered pizza! This morning, we got our rental car and headed to Joshua Tree. What a stunning National Park--quite the land formations--beautiful and serene............... We did go to Pioneertown and ate at a place called Pappy & Harriet's--an old fashion restaurant. Food was great! Tomorrow we leave this resort and check into a hotel close to the airport as our flight is 7:30 Sunday morning. We will ding around Palm Springs tomorrow and also go on the aerial tram. I am not sure when I will check in again, so have a great weekend!
Good Afternoon--Home Sweet Home! We did have an interesting day--a two hour delay leaving DFW, but all is well. I am on my 5th load of wash and trying to get everything else caught up too. Heading to the grocery store, then to the craft room to make a card for a DT--due tomorrow!
Welcome home, Barb! Hmmm... why was there a delay in Dallas? I didn't think the weather was bad there. That's where our DD connected for her flight to Anchorage, or else I wouldn't know what the weather was to be in Dallas. LOL!
We left the gate on time, and taxied to the runway. They were checking all of the gauges and one was not working right. So, we went back to the gate and a mechanic fixed it. They then started all of the engines to see if everything was OK. Then, when they checked the radar in Milwaukee and saw some storms, they need to add fuel that they had used up as they were afraid they might have to circle a bit or land in Peoria--that is what the pilot said! So, two hours later, we got into the air!

He has now an apptm to take his truck in next Monday!
Praying that it is NOT the problem that was stated by one of the three!!:?
We did ,however, have a decent trip back home...

I meant to say 3ish hours.......not 5. For some reason I can not edit my post
Terry, this is a blog group thread, so SCS's specs doesn't have the "edit" link. However, if you ever need/want to edit your post here, simply click on the # of the post (in the upper right corner of your post) and it will bring up a new "page" which will give you the option of editing your post.
That being said, I do not mean to imply you need to edit your post... just thought you might like this information for future reference. ;)
