 | | Alcohol Inks are back in style!!! During Falliday Fest Lydia gave us a challenge, "get drunk" and Heather gave us Alcohol Ink Bauble tutorial and then Lydia gave us the Stone Cold Twisted challenge. That's when I caught the bug. That's how I roll! I rarely jump right in. Things have to sit and percolate in my brain a bit. I am never one to rush right out and buy a new clothing trend. I usually buy it when it's just about OUT of trend! LOL It just takes me awhile to jump in! So back to my card. I had so much fun with Lydia's, Stone Cold Twisted challenge and apparently the Baubles were floating around in my subconscious because last week I had a great idea! Why not create an ornament card from alcohol inks!
I thought maybe I came up with the great idea to use a plain old circle die, NO specialty ornament die required but ah, NO, Heather has just plain circles in her tutorial!!
The scripture sentiment is from the Luke 2 stamp set from The Project Bin.
If you are like me and are hesitant to jump in, I hope this inspires you to go play with some alcohol.....Ink of course what did you think I meant? It's 10 am in the morning!!! |
