 | | Robin has challenged to add stuff to our cards today. Tough challenge for me! Did I throw enough stuff at this? I hope so. This card is for my best friend, Dave. We've been annoying people together for 20 years now. I mean REALLY annoying people. So when I saw this saying come up on Pinterest, I had to use it for his card.
I used this fun font that looks like a labelmaker label. And since, I was trying to make my card busy, I printed it out on this newsprint patterned paper. But the letters didn't stand out much, so I traced them with white gel pen and I love the way they pop. Then I grabbed an alcohol ink background that I had hanging around, the black produce netting that I've been hoarding and threw in some gold cord to get closer to the kitchen sink.
Speaking of kitchen sinks, my maiden name was Kitchen. I spent my entire youth being told that I
should marry someone with the last name Sink and I could be Jen Kitchen Sink. |
