I recently got a set of silhouette flower stamps from Penny Black that I hadn't used yet, so as soon as I saw this pin I knew I had found a great reason to bust into them: http://pin.it/YFQcUZG
I did a pretty straightforward rendition of the original. I started with a piece of cherry red cardstock and trimmed it to fit on a kraft card. I stamped the flowers with white pigment ink and heat embossed with opaque white powder.
I had also just gotten two sets of Recollections stamps/stencils at Michael's sale this weekend and one had a nice bird silhouette to use. I stamped and embossed it on top of the flower stem. I used the sentiment from the same set and stamped it in brick red dye ink to finish this quick and easy card.
