The M.C. Escheresque background paper is a digital printout of a black and white flying pig that I found on a free website many years ago #10 years at least# and have saved since. #You can tell that I have always had an affinity for flying pigs#.
The base card is a quality 200gr paper bought at a Stationary store here in Switzerland.
The stamp was purchased from Rubber Hedgehog stamps. I stamped it on the same white paper as the base. I used foam pop-dots to raise the stamped image on the diamond.
The piggy is colored using pencils from my pencil jar #a very diverse and often unlabelled bunch of color.# I used a gel pen to write the sentiment as I didn't have a stamp that seemed appropriate.
I hope that Sean will have a speedy remission and will find the same joy of life that another young man I know did after battling cancer!
Thanks for looking and do think of those people in your lives who need encouragement.

Hi there Patricia! OMG! I am so glad you are here with your flying pigs! First of all, let me say welcome! I am tickled that a Teapot Tuesday challenge is your first ever at SCS! I am honored but more than that I am touched by the reason you are here today! I get the feeling you were a rock for your young friend that is doing so well after his fight with cancer!
This card is so very appropriate...I love it! I have a friend who loves the saying When Pigs Fly. Her husband passed away at a pretty young age and that was one of his favorite sayings...Also a fellow teapotter, Pidgesmom, also loves pigs that fly! Your card rocks! And I am sure that Sean will be so touched by it. I love the awesome background *borders*. Its just plain adorable! What a fun image!
Thanks for posting your nice message in the thread! Gave me warm fuzzies! Welcome!
Okay, now you are most definately a double newbie! New to SCS challenges, new to Teapot Tuesday, so you get double newbie cookies! Follow me..got some hidden.....just for you....I hope the survived the plane ride over! Tee hee! Thanks for playing....don't let the other teapotters scare you off, they are just girls that wanna have fun! Tee hee!

Patricia, Charlene just mentioned to me that you did not put keywords MMTPT132 in your upload. Can you add those, that way your card will be in the teapot gallery and all the other teapotters can see it! Just do an edit and put those initials in....That will be good......
Patricia, Welcome. You will find that this is the best group of women ever to be a part of. I also am somewhat new and have received nothing but love from these gals.
Your card is awesome. I love the little piggie and the paper is adorable. The sentiment is so appropriete and I'm sure Sean will love it.
Again, Welcome.
