The M.C. Escheresque background paper is a digital printout of a black and white flying pig that I found on a free website many years ago #10 years at least# and have saved since. #You can tell that I have always had an affinity for flying pigs#.
The base card is a quality 200gr paper bought at a Stationary store here in Switzerland.
The stamp was purchased from Rubber Hedgehog stamps. I stamped it on the same white paper as the base. I used foam pop-dots to raise the stamped image on the diamond.
The piggy is colored using pencils from my pencil jar #a very diverse and often unlabelled bunch of color.# I used a gel pen to write the sentiment as I didn't have a stamp that seemed appropriate.
I hope that Sean will have a speedy remission and will find the same joy of life that another young man I know did after battling cancer!
Thanks for looking and do think of those people in your lives who need encouragement.

Well, how I chuckled when seeing your card Patricia. WELCOME, WELCOME and WELCOME AGAIN! I am still grinning from looking at your flying pig! I was sure moved by your kind words Patricia. The fact that you are sending this card to Sean, who is in great need of love. Ain't SCS THE place to "meet" beautiful people! I love that you even did this pop-up card. I tried it once, but it wasn't as pretty and of course FUNNY as yours. TFS and do come back, we all love to have you. The Muddah (Cindy) is such a loving and caring hostess.

You already know I found this - I just didn't get to leave a comment at the time. While my husband tends to be fussy about the way cards fold, personally I think almost any fold with a wow factor is great for guys, and that paper, which is indeed a la Escher (sorry, when I try accents on my laptop they go AWOL!!) is also a great choice, even more so when it ties in with your story.
