When do the challenges go out for the next VSN and where do I go so I don't miss them, I have wanted to play for a while but I always forget what night they are on and then I go check and I have already missed it. Do you have a calendar of events would be my questions, sorry for rambling.

What is the schedule for VSN this weekend? What time will things start on Friday and Saturday and how many challenges will there be each day? I thought there were some changes made, so I was just wondering.

Friday starts at 6 pm EST and there are 4 challenges.............Saturday starts at 1 pm EST and there are 8 challenges. You will have one hour....in some cases 2....to do the actual challenge and a whole week to get your creations uploaded to the Up To Snow Good gallery!! :D

Thanks for the info -- can't wait! Looks like I'm going to be snowed/iced in for a couple days -- might as well stamp all weekend! YEAH!! I hope we don't lose our electric or our internet due to the ice storm :cry:

So does the challenge end on the letter L? Can you make more than one card for each challenge & still complete the whole challenge?

You can make as many as you'd like for each challenge! :D Yes...we have less challenges now as per a poll we did to find out how to make VSN more fun and less intimidating and we're happy to see so many playing along!!

I've been using SCS for ideas for a while bug have never had a chance go look at much else. What is a virtual stamp night and how often are they?

VSN newbie here. What is considered prep time? Gathering supplies, sketching ideas, Stamping images?

Hi Paula! Yep...all that can be prep time...I even will color images before I start a challenge so I don't count my coloring time either! Just when you're ready to start making your card you can say, ready, set, go! :D

Wow! I can make more elaborate cards that way. Thanks for the info. I did the first challenge start to finish without anything pulled and no time to think about it much . It nearly killed me!

Awww...well it's really all about having FUN! So we want it to be varying degrees of challenging so we get to grow and stretch...but it still has to be fun! :D Welcome!!

Hi Jeanne! The Virtual Stamp weekend just happens to be tonight and tomorrow!!! You are in the correct forum, so watch in a few hours for the first challenge to go up! There are also scrapbooking ones in the scrapbook forum! :D

Yes that is correct! And the challenges for VSN now run for a whole week...so you've got lots of time to play! :D

What is vsn and what is done in this group?

Hi Anita! This is an event 3 times a year where we have lots of challenges over a couple days time and is lots of fun!! We just finished one so the next one will be in Nov/Dec.....we'll be posting here starting in late Sept/early Oct to get ideas and hostesses!

I hope it isn't the same time as VSBN! I like to do them both, but it's difficult when they are the same week-ends. VSBN is Nov. 7th, 8th, and 9th.

It is the same time frame....but we plan our dates a year ahead and so don't have any idea when VSBN is. However, VSN mini is only 2 challenges now...and the Main is the second weekend of December...so hopefully you can sneak that in! ;)

They are planned a year ahead, too. Oh, well. I think I can do two cards. :)

Newbie question here! I'm having challenge withdrawals after HYCCT! I missed out on the live VSN last week, but made up for it today. Is VSN every Friday until it's over? I'd like to know if I need to book my dates with my craft room! :) Thank you to all the fabulous hostesses!!!

Angie, the two challenges from the mini were last friday then the main event happens in December. ( I have to go look at the dates I don't remember off the top of my head, but the usual is to have a handful of challenges that start on Friday afternoon and then they start up again around noon-ish on Saturday spread out one hour apart until that night.)

so, you have time to play along live with some and finish up any others during the week following it.

for challenge withdrawals there is a daily challenge or two posted every day in the main Challenges forum threads.
