I had these instructions many moons ago and forgot about them.
Thank you for re-introducing the curley ribbons again to me.
What a sweet pumpkin. I think it is adorable.
It shows how to make our grosgrain ribbons into curly springs. I hope you enjoy! I'll be posting another one in the next day or so on how to make witch hat ornaments using the Big Shot.
I have been so inspired by the tutorials in this thread. Thank you to everyone for sharing!
Wow....how did I miss this thread before!! I just had to share this tutorial because Pat just make it available for free. It is on her CD 6 for all the tutorials for the last year of the Technique Junkie newsletter. I hope you like it.
Thanks so much - very attractive card. I have a ? - when using the agua painter, sometimes it is difficult to control the amount of water and then the cs gets a bit too wet Any suggestions? Have tried to put very little water in it and also just dipping the tip in a bit of water. Thanks :-D
thanks, but the one i am looking for is on someone's blog, and her technique was different than the one in the scs resource. her's didn't need any special supplies, like etching cream, if i am recollecting correctly, still searching.
Sorry I couldn't help. I just did a quick search online and came across a few blog tutorials but they all require a creame. Sorry couldn't help, hopefully someone can help you find it.
thanks for all the help ladies, i must of dreamed this up, after i read those other tutorials, i don't think etching can be done without the etch cream. i'm goofy to think so
thanks for all the options, ladies, i was trying to locate this for my sister, who is a demo, but she can't demo the etch solution cuz it's not su brand, i keep my eyes peeled for more feedback on this topic though, just for my ownself, i think this is a nice project to do.
Just posted my latest video tutorial. It is a technique I'm calling Paper Napkin Transfers. It is a how-to tutorial using patterned paper napkins to make pretty backgrounds for your card making and paper crafting projects.
Help, I am looking for the tutorial on Becca's round heart punch card. I bought the punch and would love to mke the beautiful card. Thanks for your help.
I liked this technique, years ago we used freezer wrap paper instead of
saran wrap. Great to see an old technique revived. It really was great
for holidays when it's hard to find different stamps like Easter, Shamrocks,
Thanksgiving, for background paper and matching envelopes, I think the
freezer wrap was sturdier for envelopes Great job on the demo

Thanks for this great technique! I quickly watched it yesterday, but now I want to try it, it says the usual "this video is no longer available" frustrating! will keep trying.
